Scott was very helpful and concerned for me to get my PC up and running again after it started acting up, he was knowledgeable and gave me some good hints and advice.

My screen started to go all funky and then my computer started to force shut down and blue screen. I was able to narrow it down to eiter my GPU was bad (8 years in use) or that the GPU Port on my motherboard was bad, that was on Friday. I did not have a good GPU to test the port with. Called one company and because of Covid they were not doing any in person servicing. Called Drive Rescue and they said that they were not in the office at the moment but they would be in tomorrow(Sat) from 9-11, theyre not open on Saturday, but I showed up and they were there! My hard drive recently failed on my laptop and I needed a new drive installed. Ordinarily I would go to the Geek Squad, but after having an unsatisfactory experience on my last visit, I decided to try a local independent business. A friend referred me to Drive Rescue. If I could give more stars I would. I called and spoke with Scott Hammond and agreed to have him look at my laptop. I told Scott I would be bringing it in for repair in a few days as I had just had surgery and was unable to drive for a few days. Scott offered to come to my home and pick up the device at no additional charge. He installed the new hard drive that same day and on his way home from work he delivered it back to my home! My laptop performs better now than when it was brand new. Much faster than before! I couldnt be happier with the service. I will definitely be referring all my friends and family to Drive Rescue.

Anytime we have any kind of computer issues we give drive rescue a call and Scott the owner is here in under an hour at the very latest (usually its 10-20min). I should also mention they backup our system and make sure our data is secure on a daily basis. We are always pleased with his work and we highly recommend Drive Rescue. If your hard drive crashes and you have lost everything and you are depending upon whats on that hard drive to get your next contract paycheck I recommend this establishment. He has a small office on mobile Avenue in a building that does not look like it should contain a computer company. The office is right in front on the bottom on the right and he knows exactly what he is doing. My hard drive was about 6 years old and full and he managed to recover everything that was on the drive when it crashed and it crashed big time. He is not cheap but again as I said earlier when youre depending on to recover everything that is on that hard drive and you were negligent and you did not back it up like you should have this is the place to go.

One of our employees dropped a laptop that contained important information. Because they were traveling the information was not transferred to our servers. We once got a corrupt SD card after shooting a Wedding...after my partner and I tried and tried again using various at-home computer methods of recovering the lost footage, but failed. This company is wonderful! My WD external hard drive with incredibly important, sentimental, and irreplaceable material crashed before I could back it up. I sent it to a location here in AZ where I live that couldnt recover it, who then sent it out to a clean room who came back with the verdict there was data on the hard drive but they were also unable to recover it. I was then referred to Scott at Drive-Rescue in Camarillo Ca. Even with multiple failures within the drive, Drive-rescue was able to recover 99% of my drive (all my data is here so I dont even know or care what that 1% is) and all those precious memories and valuable personal and professional documents I had been mourning the loss of! What a huge help!I went to Best Buy Geek Squad to perform data recovery on my external hard drive. My original quote from them was between $500 - $1,800 and 4 - 6 weeks, with a $50 non-refundable deposit. After 6 weeks, I called to find out what the status was. I was told that my device was going to cost $2,000 and another 6 weeks. When I asked to speak to a manager, they told me that I would get a call back. Later that day, the manager called and told me that the job was going to cost $5,000. I demanded my device back, as well as my non-refundable deposit.After looking at the services that Drive-Rescue performed, I called. Scott was very helpful. Scott is a miracle worker!! Our hard drive crashed with months of family pictures that I didnt back-up (at least the first 6 months of our newborn baby). I was in tears. Our server crashed and our backup was corrupt. Our billing, financial, and all critical information was on that server. The first company we called wanted $500 just to look at the server. We then called other data recovery companies and received quotes from $2000 to $10,000 to recover our information. We then contacted a local IT shop we had used in the past and asked them if they could help or recommend someone. So we went for it.The location was pretty easy to find, it was right off the 101fwy, and it was nice that there was plenty of free parking.I was surprised, after only a few hours, to get a phone call informing us that our years of family pictures were all rescued!It only took 1 day to get our data back, while I wasted 3 days calling around to find a place to take it, and it was well worth the price of $380.If I ever lose my data or have a hard drive crash or failure again, I would definitely call this company asap, thank you drive-rescue!

Scott is awesome! My Buffalo Linkstation went into E-Mode, and their own recovery process worked but left the drive with no MFT and no files. Of course, Scott was able to recover everything!
