I was trying to exchange some shoes that I bought for a different size and unfortunately they did not have the same shoes in stock. when I tried to exchange for a different pair they were unable to look at my receipt on my credit card and advised me I would have to call their 800 number. When I called the number they were closed and I was told by the manager that there was nothing that they could do in the store except to give me the lowest price that they had ever been sold for a whopping $10! This is absolutely ridiculous that a national large company as is Sports Authority cannot help customers at 8:30 p.m. my time. As I was voicing my frustration to the manager, Donna, she simply walked off uninterested. Mind you I did not curse at her or be disrespectful! Extremely unprofessional and I suppose I will have to reconsider where I buy my sporting equipment from now on. These were a birthday gift for my daughter and I promised her I would exchange when I got off work today but unfortunately sports authority expects all customers to work around their schedule and has no consideration for their customers that have to work. You should not close your customer service number while stores are still open if that is the only way to resolve issues! And train you managers better! Some empathy or maybe a smile or interest could have gone a long way! Instead she looks bothered that I asked to speak to her, gave all your policies that are set up to protect you (but screw customers) and then walked away while I was talking!

Its not a true CLOSING SALE, items are not rock bottom prices, yet...
