Excellent service at this location. I reserved a car online with the Hammond Indiana location, one hour before I was to pick it up they called and said they had none available. I came here and Xavier Taylor took care of me right away no problems at all. I highly recommend this place.

Enterprise: ENTER and you will be SURPRISED to learn the car you reserved well in advance isn’t there and you end up waiting nearly four hours in the office only to go home empty-handed. I was very upset due to the fact that I was preparing to leave town the next day. I was in need of a rental because a drunk-driver rear-ended me and my car was being repaired. Although I was highly upset at first and would have initially left a 1-star review for this experience, the employee there named Xavier was very helpful and sincere. Even though the problem wasn’t of his doing, his concern was genuine and that eased much of my anger. Xavier is an awesome worker who takes pride in his work and I’m sure his Mom is proud to call him her son. I can’t remember the manager’s name but he was very helpful as well.

Still waiting for a $50 deposit to be refunded! My car was hit while parked so Geico handled everything [car looks great now] yet I still have not got my deposit. Oh yeah also they attempted to take another $50 deposit thank goodness I used my chime Visa but they still got me for $49!!! Shauna was nice, yet I am going to be calling daily about that $99!!! P.S. Geico is aware.

I dropped my car off to be repaired in Lansing, my insurance company made a reservation for me with Enterprise in Calumet City, after I settled with my car, I was told that Shuna from Enterprise was waiting outside to take me to rent a car. I was very delighted with the experience, she was very friendly and courteous, once we got to Calumet City Enterprise, I was in and out fast and efficiently. The whole process for me from my home in Matteson to returning home was only 1 hour. Good job, I would definitely use and recommend them.

Whatever you do, DO NOT rent a car from Calumet City Enterprise Branch. Firstly, a staff member called me the morning of the scheduled pick-up and told me they did not have a car available for me; mind you, I made the reservation a week prior and then I confirmed the reservation a couple of days prior to the pick up date. Secondly, once they found me a car, it was in the worse condition. There were cigarette burns in the seat, the license plate was hanging and the body of the car was damaged. The car was raggedy and in horrible driving condition. I had no choice but to rent it because I was desperate for a car. Thirdly, the branch overall is dirty and in poor condition. The Calumet City store is definitely poor representation of the Enterprise brand. The store is in need of new management and/or needs to be closed down. This is the 2nd time I’ve had the worse experience at this particular branch, however this time, I decided to write a review. I will never rent a car from the Calumet City store again.

My experience at this particular location started out great with Shauna. I had an unexpected death in my family (covid season) and I was not in my right mind.Well, the staff there or maybe one staff sent me a very disrespectful email, regarding how there looking for me like I was a wanted criminal. “I’m being flagged” and I took that as I’m about to arrested or something.I sent husband on that Monday to pay the bill since I was out of town and mourning the death of my relative. My husband said they denied the payment. He wasn’t sure why.That’s when I received the email and I responded back immediately.I was still mourning but I kept my composure and proceeded to return the car, which I actually extended.I was looking to give a 5 star because in the beginning Shauna showed great customer service.I know “Staff L” was only doing her job, but I would have preferred a better use of verbs when describing situations that may potentially violate a rule or stipulation.Thank you and have a great day,Renee Little

I made reservations in advance and the morning I was scheduled to pick the car up they called saying they didn’t have anything available and not to come until they called. Mind you I was already 5 mins away when they called. Why would the company allow me to make a reservation if no cars would be available? What if my plans were contingent upon me having this vehicle? What if I needed the car to complete a job assignment and lost my job due to their unprofessionalism? It was a major Inconvenience, distasteful, unprofessional and inconsiderate to say the least. Someone needs to be held accountable. Very poor experience and customer service.

I had to rent a car because my car was in shop for some serious repair work. This team and especially Latiesha, were an excellent group. Latiesha was very Courteous, Professional, and Knowledgeable!!! Unlike some Enterprise Car Rental locations, I was able to get through to actual people from the actual Enterprise store. If I need to rent a car in the future, I will definitely be returning to this location!!!

This has been the worst experience with a rental car service ever. Over an hour wait without even being acknowledged. Staff has minimal customer service skills, rude and incompetent. Utterly ridiculous!

I reserved a Full size SUV but when I got there they said it wasnt there yet and I could either come back the following Day OR take a slightly smaller suv...a Jeep Compass?? Hated it for our 8 hour drive. The shrug off made it even worse 😤

Really torn on this review. The guy who I worked with great. Great customer service. However the car was very dirty. The seats were stained and didnt look sanitary.

Had a very pleasant experience here. The lady that assisted me had me in and out. The only thing that I did not like is that the hold amount has increased drastically. However, I do understand why they did it. A few bad apples ruined it for everyone. Thank you Enterprise Cal City for a pleasant experience. 1 star because I can’t give 0. I cannot begin to explain how rude and unprofessional this location is. I made a reservation 4 days before my pick up when it was time to go pick up I called just to make sure it was there I was rudely told that there were 6 cars waiting and it was first come first served I said but I reserved this car days ago and he said ok Ma’am there is nothing I can do call another location because there probably won’t be cars when you get here. Mind u I was supposed to pick it up at 5:30 and they close at 6:00, I said I need my car for tomm morning to get to work he said ok like I said you can drive here but there probably won’t be any cars. Now I have no way to get to work. I had a different rude experience 3 yrs ago and never went to them again, I made the mistake of thinking that maybe after 3 yrs it would be different. I’m guessing because of the location all they hire are rude ghetto ignorant people. Never again will I make this mistake and will tell everyone I know not to make that mistake either.

I scheduled my rental well in advanced and had to wait outside for over 1 hour in the cold after being dropped off by a Uber to receive the truck which was a upgrade. It was washed and wet with a slight scrap that wasnt able to be seen. I noticed it while getting gas after leaving and figured it was noted. Once I returned the car I was told it was noted on the last 5 rentals Thank God. Ive never experienced this before so please pay close attention cause it could have went wrong.

Rented a car this July and the experience was very good. Reserved car online and picked it up the next day. Everything was done outside by the friendly and professional staff. An improvement would be an acknowledgement upon arrival and/or a pick a number system or something to serve customers in order.

Renting a Dogde Carvan back windshield Wiper is broke inside u can still see foot prints on the carpet when it rains van all over the road front tires no good it needs a oil change itz 3 months n 10,000 miles over oil change & van pulls to the right side when driving

The branch manager (Nina Turner) is extremely helpful and does a wonderful job. Today she was at the desk alone with many customers waiting and she did an amazing job helping everyone. I brought my car back because the ac was not working correctly and she took care of it super fast.

Amazing and quick service! I dont use credit cards, so using a debit card here works out great, they just ask to verify your information with a utility or cellphone bill. They upgraded me and I drove out with a 2016 Malibu within 20 minutes. Great customer service! Ill be back whenever I need a rental.

The staff at this location was great. Very helpful. However I had reserved a compact car and all they had when I got there was a full size pickup. Which cost me twice as much on fuel. I could have flown home for what it cost me to rent and fuel this vehicle. And I would have gotten there quicker.

The team as a whole is very inviting and they have great personalities. When it comes to explaining the rules and regulations of rental agreements many of the staff members are on different accords. With no clear and concise answers it causes confusion for customers. I had a problem with one of the employees. I had two different debit cards on file. I explained to her, and I was very specific on which card to charge, and of course she wasnt listening, and she screwed up my account. I had to go to the location to have the issue straightened out. Due to her lack-luster performance I received an overdraft fee from my bank. After receiving the over draft fee I went into the location and was treated very poorly due to Ninas apathetic attitude. When she is speaking to the customers, she speaks to them in a very condescending manner and takes no responsibility for her actions; therefore making her customer service skills simply deplorable.

Terrible. Dishonest. Incompetent. Immature. Terrible manager. Hands down the worse experience with a business Ive ever had. My wife was literally in tears. Im trying to put no stars on here, but it wont let me. Experience was so bad and Dishonest that I briefly considered legal action. Its worth a few extra dollars to go to Hertz or Avis. Or, at least go to an Enterprise in a different geographical area. This one has the environment of a high school.

I called to ask questions about rental agreements. I dialed 4 to speak to a representative. Left on hold for over 20 minutes. Never spoke to anyone. I just continuously hear the dial of them picking up the call and placing it back on hold because it keeps ringing on their end. I don’t think I’ll be using this company’s location again.

I really enjoy renting from enterprise.One of the reps copied all my info so that when i come back to rent a car all i have to do is give them a copy of my information .it saves me a lot of time and them also. They(the reps)are all respectful and courteous.I love the red carpet treatment I get.

After I was picked up and taken to the rental office I was assisted by Kennina who was super pleasant and professional. She made the process enjoyable and got me out of there in a timely manner.

The Calumet City personnel and employee Chris was very helpful, however I was told the insurance would be $19.99 a day and it exceeded this. The office of South Holland was also very professional and helped with the check in and dropped me back off.

The staff here is awesome especially Will and the manager can’t wait to see you guys again in September

I rented a car that developed a flat while on expressway near Chicago. My car also lacked a spare so i could not change it. i called roadside assistance AND a local dealership but It took me two hours to get someone to figure out where I was on the map. I was on an exit from the tristate tollway so it should have been easy. In addition I phoned a local office that was less than 3 miles away and was on hold for the better part of forty minutes before they closed and hung up! I could not convince them to come get me even though they had a vehicle! Being in the vicinity of a 10 million population area I think someone missed a service opportunity here and enterprise may have lost a customer. I rented often for business travel. I FINALLY did connect with someone who could figure out what major intersection I was on and sent for help several hours later.

Ive rented from Enterprise for many, many years. Was given incorrect info when I changed cars (At Their Request). My car was totaled out in Aug and my insurance co is moving SOO slow resolving my claim. I have been on the hook for the rental since 9-28. I was told one rate then charged another, and at the current pace my ins co is moving, might be in a rental until Nov. Im very concerned over my Final bill once everything is concluded.

Worst experience ever!!!!! Adrian, the branch manager was not helpful. He didnt follow up with me regarding confirming an authorization number I received from Carmax. He was to call me on Saturday. The Calumet location has piss poor customer service skills. When I called on Monday, Adrian conveniently was in a meeting, after I was put on hold for 17 mintues per employee Whitney. This is not the first BAD experience my family encountered. My husband had one, but Id tried to patronize this location again. Never ever again. Not professionals at all.

I had a horrible experience with the Jeep I rented the lights kept going off and on by themselves the port didnt work my phone dyed I had no way to charge it and I was using my GPS navigation system there was something wrong with the back driver side tire it was bad that jeep shouldnt been rented out you all need to check your vehicles after each rental I was scared for my safety and I still had to pay for that horrible car so with that I give enterprise a 0 but they salesman were very nice I give them 4 stars

Very nice people that work there, but the fact that I made a reservation and arrive to pick up the car is very puzzling.No car were available for 4 hours.Cars are coming from the Ohareairport. And no cars came in except for the people who were returning rentals.I personally should have gone to the airport and picked up a rental instead I waited 4.5 hours wanting believe what I kept hearing from the manager and the customer staff. Nub. Enterprise car rental in River Oaks is a bad joke that will only make you laugh at yourself for beleaving the song and dance that Enterprise staff are singing to its customers. No funny.

We rented a car from Enterprise and returned it today! Im disappointed that after renting from them for years a rep would steal our cell phone and deny having it. We know for sure the phone was in the car cause I went straight from the house to the car place and place the phone down for a second to clean the car. We were still in the lot when I remembered my phone was in the rental and I went in to get it and the boy lied saying he didnt see it. I was really impress with how nice they were until I seen he lied to my face. Im waiting for the regional manager to call me back monday and I plan on make a BIG DEAL of this cause I hate a liar and theft!
