I bring my daughter to her appointments after a below the knee amputation. The staff is very compassionate, helpful and caring to her and to me.

Most of the staff members are young and may be a little inexperienced.I believe A few of the staff members could be a little more sensitive to those who are there to have treatment and who may be going through a tough time.I pray they take each case seriously and look at each individual as if it were themselves or a loved one.The receptionist at this center is very kind and very welcoming.

No one but the receptionist smiles or acts happy. Counselors seem very cold. Linda was rude to a friend of mine and me as soon as we came in the door. She acted as if our presence bothered her and got irritated about us asking who we should talk to if we had an appointment. I found a better counselor at Christian counseling center in Dalton. Theyre way better.

Im a CDL driver and I cant take all the time off from work to set across from a counselor to talk. I do better with expecting myself when someone isnt staring at me. Im in the middle of a break down break apart and I call with my ss# date of birth things only I know for help I got told to look on line if I was Suicidal wow really thanks even if I was at that moment I wouldnt have told the lady answering the phone.... Better with no help at all....

Everytime I go for my appointments I have to wait three hours just to see psychiatrist. Its almost like they want to keep you waiting so they create the anxiety. Ive been told they understand my frustration and theyre sorry but have yet to tell me why Im always having to wait that long. Ive been there four times and had to reschedule each time due to unusually high wait times. I went today because Ive been trying to get a medication switch and she called me back realized I was wrong patient. She then made me go back out and took someone else back. My problem wouldve taken five minutes. My medicine she prescribed was making me suicidal but yet she has to take the other person because they were there first. Mine was an emergency. Dont use Calhoun highland rivers. They shouldve never reopened the doors. Dalton has never been this rude or anything. Thank you.
