Long road ahead of us, super hot day, we pulled in with about half hour to closing. The owner stayed a whole hour after to serve us and did a stellar job. Their rates are very fair. Took care of the welds I needed done on my trailer after I mangled it. They do excellent work at a terrific price. Bennett Machine is now where I’ll be bringing all my welding repairs when needed.

They repaired a long, cracked transom weld on my boat that was causing me to take on a lot of water. They even reinforced the area by fabricating metal, joining the hull and transom.

I had a unique project for my work vehicle that required a custom rack on top. After explaining what would be carried on top and supplying them with one of the posts, they were able to design an incredible rack at a reasonable price. We have been using it now for over a year and have been VERY pleased with the result.

They were not willing to find the steel material I was asking for or offer solutions.

There are more trustworthy shops around... I had them repair a machine for me and heres what I got:1. They were almost a week later than promised.2. They charged over 30% more than they quoted me.3. The work wasnt done to spec and shredded a bushing.I will be finding another shop for all my future repairs, they let me down in every conceivable way...

Dont get me wrong they are nice people but I took a bearing in to get pressed on a shaft because I dont have a press and I figured they could do it real quick. It took the guy the better part of the morning to do it only after marring the bearing and shaft. Midway through trying to get the bearing on the shaft, the guy tried telling me it was not the right one for the shaft and too small. I knew for a fact it was the right one and after the guy cleaned up the shaft and bearing it pressed right on. Im not sure what causing the trouble in the first place but I would have to guess that it has something to do with little attention to detail and poor prep work to make sure the mating surfaces were clean. Then they charged me $80.
