All I can say is thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! I called close to 10 vets in a 50 mile radius of where I live and everyone was completely booked and would not see my sweet girl. Shida, my 5 month old puppy had some concerning things happening and I felt compelled to take her in. Katie was so helpful on the phone and got me in as soon as they could. Amanda, who I believe was the vet tech was so incredibly nice. I am so glad I ended up bringing her in because she had a UTI. The staff was amazing, they were very upfront about finances and expenses. Overall my experience was amazing.

First time in since the merger and my old vets retirement. Wonderful experience, everyone was relaxed and courteous, but also professional. I liked Dr. Faust, very nice young man.

My cat was having issues with his urinary tract and it all started to come to a head last night; these guys were my first stop for an emergency visit. Heidi was amazing and so was the doctor! They took good care of my boy and made sure he was back to 100% despite him needing to stay overnight and us arriving close to 9:30pm. I will absolutely bring my boys back here, emergency or otherwise.

This is without a doubt the WORST vet practice in Butte. My heart aches that Dr McQueary has sold his practice to these sleezebags. Its all about the money, not serving the patients.

We bring our two dogs and our cat to this clinic and I can not say enough about them. Everyone is great. I am an over protective, highly concerned pet owner and everyone there has always been so kind, patient and helpful. Our dogs love going there for daycare, and our appointments have always been thorough, they have always addressed any concerns that we have had. We are big fans of BVC🐾

We were traveling from Oregon and our doxie fell and we thought he broke his leg. It turned out to be a sprain. They were super nice and helpful. We so appreciated their help and support.

If you dont care about you animals and have loads of extra money, take them here. They wanted 576 dollars to do what jefferson vet did for 50 including exam. I had my poor guy signed up for neuter clinic and this is where they wanted me to take him. They gave him no pain pills and no antibiotics and let him leave with an infection. Then when they said yeah its definitely infected, bring him back in, they did nothing to help him and wanted to charge me 150 dollars for his infection that was their fault. I went back to jefferson and they charged me 13 dollars. Ive had horses and dogs attended to all over the planet and this is by far the worst vet ive ever seen. Id give them less stars if i could

We called to get our pup in for a last minute rabies shot because it was due to expire the next following day. Although we were told they were booked and it was 1.5hrs to closing, the sweet vet tech told us to come anyway. They squeezed us in, not only at the last minute but during this crazy COVID pandemic. We really appreciate people like this giving exceptional customer service. Thank you all for seeing our Great Dane, Shiloh.

So thankful for this place. Chad took us in on a Saturday and was so kind, and honest, and it was what we needed. We will be coming back every time for our furry loved ones. Thank you so much for everything and for taking the time for our fur baby Chad.

My beagle got into the kitchen trash, as beagles do, and ate who knows what. He had a couple days of progressively worsening intestinal distress, and I of course went on the internet to convince myself that he must have an intestinal blockage or much, much worse. Being new to town, I wasnt sure of the best vet clinic to take him to and called several places before opening hours and left messages. Butte Veterinary Center was the first to return my call. They took us within an hour, did all the necessary things, assured me that my dog wasnt going to die anytime soon, gave very precise instructions about administering the prescribed meds, and were welcoming and good humored. My dog is mellow and sociable and loves going to the vet, but would definitely let it be known if he had a bad experience. When they brought him out to me, he acted like hed just been to a birthday party. Happy guy! To top it off, the cost wasnt prohibitive, and they called the next day to see how my little monster was doing. Fantastic all the way around.

Took my older dog in to address some ongoing issues and get vacs. I wasnt given any real explanation for the problems she was having, but was told it could all be addressed with surgery (I can get you a price estimate for that $$$). Estimates for a dental was $900 - $1200. I called and told them I was unhappy with the service and all I got was Sorry to hear that. We wont be going back.

Our family is very grateful for Dr. Johnson and her staff. We were visiting Butte over the weekend and our dog, Remy, got a large gash on his paw and leg. We called and gave a heads up about what happened and when they opened they had us on the books to see Dr. and got us in right away. Appreciated they gave us quotes right up front for what to expect for treatment. We felt their compassion and dedication to taking care of our furbaby. Thank you again for making us feel welcome and giving our dog the best care.

We switched to Butte Veterinary Service after some bad experiences with some Animal Hospitals that were actually businesses that treated animals. Then we found Dr. Bob and Carolyn at Butte Veterinary service and it was a breath of fresh air. They treated our animals with compassion and you could tell they were truly interested in their care more than the accountants. Great people and a great place.

Great care, quick response, reasonable rates and payment arrangements. They were so compassionate when my shepherd died. They even made us a paw print for a memory

Emergency services, Saturday hours, and a caring staff...what more can you ask for from your veterinarian? Update: Dr. Faust, Dr. Johnson, and do many vet techs continue to impress. I feel so fortunate to have these wonderful vets caring for my pets.

Butte Veterinary Service has been our veterinary since its opening. Bob, Caroline, and their staff are amazing. They have been there for us any time of the day or night. They have treated our dogs, cats, and horses. I never hesitate to call if I have a question regarding any of my animals. They are very compassionate individuals and understand how much we love our four-legged family members! I remember calling one morning at about 5 a.m. when my pom was attacked by an owl. Bob had me bring her in right away and she was home very soon! I could go on and on as to the pets he is saved. Of course, I have had to send animals to Rainbow Bridge as they got older and Butte Veterinary Service was very caring and made the ordeal much easier. Thanks Butte Veterinary Service for always being there for us.

I called asking about services my normal veterinarian recommended but cannot provide in the timeframe Im trying to complete them in as it not urgent care. I spoke with the most condescending woman. She disagreed with my vets adviceand thoughher information may be correct, I felt as though she was laughing at my presumed ignorance and gave me what I felt was a very unfriendly lesson.It doesnt matter how stupid you think I am, I am a potential paying customer and you just lost my business. I obviously did not go to vet school and every question I ask, no matter how simple or basic, is to better the care I provide for my pet and therefore cannot be as idiotic as you so obviously think.

Charged us over 100 dollars for a 25 dollar shot, didnt do a check up on my dog, didnt check weight or look at my dogs teeth. I would never recommend this place to anyone, go to a real town and find a real vet.
