We use Derek’s for our lawn mowing and they do an awesome job! Not only does our lawn look great, but they are also very professional, communicative and responsive. We hired Derek and his amazing team to do a spring cleanup and to weed all of our flowerbeds. We also needed all of our beds mulched and cleared and our hedges trimmed. The team also did all of the edging and trimming of our flowers and bushes. It looks AMAZING. I can’t recommend Derek enough.

Unresponsive to emails. I dont have Facebook so I tried to use the email form on his website to get estimates on work and crew size. Only received price per hour per man. When I replied after gathering quotes, he did not reply.Edit for his response: It still took over 2 days to reply to my request for quote using his website. People may have better reply times by leaving a poor review. I replied within 5 days, he replied to my initial inquiry on March 12, I replied on March 17. His week and a half is incorrect.

I was canceled on at the very last minute by another landscaper and really, really needed my grass cut that day. I found Dereks with a google search and he had a crew out to my house in 30 minutes. The 2 guys that showed up were strong, clear-eyed young men who take their work seriously and did an excellent job. So, along with running a good business he seems to hire high quality workers to get the job done. Im very happy with this grass cutting company and highly recommend them. The price was very reasonable as well.

Landlord has paid for this season. I never wouldve used this company again after one year. Killed third of my grass w mower problems. Didnt come fix. Theyre idea of leaf removal is blow them under neighbors pine tree and up against house!!

Dereks Grass Cutting Service stepped in to cut our grass last year when a service we were using abruptly left the grass cutting business. Although the season was already underway, this company worked us into its schedule. Dereks Grass Cutting is dependable and cuts our hilly 1.5 acres just as we like it.This spring a section of one of our trees fell. We asked if Dereks Grass Cutting Service could cut it into manageable sections and move it out of the way. This task was taken care of promptly. We are very happy with this companys work. Dereks lawn service provides consistent and quality service. They work independently and require very little instruction. The equipment used is top notch. When necessary Derek filled in himself to cover a sick crew member. Communication and billing are done in a professional manner. If for any reason they cannot make a scheduled date, Derek works to notify customers and provides next steps in the process. He also provides services other than basic cutting and trimming.

Derek provides a proposed billing plan to prospective customers and if acceptable starts the service immediately. Customers pay once a month using a easy to manage online billing service or by check. The grass cutting is done in a thorough manner and the price includes edging also. The gentlemen who come to do the service are polite and they use a variety of tractor, push mower and edger to assure a perfect outcome. I love this service!!

Moving from Pennsylvania to Ohio and needed the grass cut on the property one last time before the new owners took possession. The grass had grown pretty tall over the few weeks we were preparing for our move and decided to get in contact with a grass cutting service. Filled out the request for estimate on the website and he returned my email promptly with a very reasonable price. I’m not one to call a service to help me mow being as I enjoy mowing. I called Derrick on a whim, all the rain we’ve been getting and our busy summer schedule 🤯 I couldn’t find the time or chance to cut it this week. He had his guys fit me into their next business day. It was so nice coming home to see my yard clipped, and weed eated (better than I normally even do!!). Im selling my house and already living out of town. I was given a reco for Derek and asked him to do a spring cleanup. The pictures are some of those shown here and I couldnt be happier with the work and Dereks professionalism in dealing with me trying to arrange this remotely. The yard never looked that good when I was taking care of it myself and Im pretty particular about my lawn care. Full cutting, edging, weeding, trimming bushes, and laying a ton of mulch.
