Friendly service, great job detailing my car

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this business. I took my car in which had normal wear and dirt, was by no means a large mess, and while it came back cleaner than when it went in, it was nowhere near the level I expected for the price of a small sedan. Certain areas such as the gas well, air vents, and seat sides seemed untouched and pine sap was left on the exterior. My father had to go through and clean it further upon getting it home and all of these minor details were taken care of in half an hour or less. They had my car for 7 hours and did work that seemed like it could have been finished in 3 or 4. Would not recommend this shop for detailing.

I just picked up my car from Sonnys and John Haines and his staff did the complete once over for me, he went the extra mile and I did not ask him to do everything that he done, his work is outstanding and reasonable, he is incredible I am so happy with my clean and spotless car I highly recommend John to anyone that needs their car detailed, thanks again John

Poor service, bad review. Im disgusted with the lack of customer service follow up . I did business with Sonny for years having my SUV detailed semi-annually. I had one issue with Sonny. He forgot my sun roof. I called him back, took it in and he cleaned it. Plus he washed my entire SUV again ... no charge. I didnt ask him to do that. But, he said that he didnt have a car in and had the time.Right now, the shop is under new management. The same quality of service is no longer provided.I took my SUV in for detailing about a month ago. When I picked it up, it looked fine at first blush. However, several nights later when driving after dark, it became apparent that a poor job was done cleaning my windows. This wasnt visible during the day, but at night. The windshield in particular, was smeared and badly streaked. That happens ... its not unusual. Im 66 years old and usually dont drive at night unless necessary, therefore didnt notice it for several days. I called the owner immediately. He commented that his employee uses a product that he doesnt like, stating he prefers Windex. Thats fine ... whatever. I took that at face value but told him that I was going out of town. He said, no problem, just drop in when I could. Well, I couldnt for three weeks. My SUV sat at the airport for almost two weeks. When I got home, I called again reminding the owner of my discontent. I dropped in on a Wednesday and he asked if I could come back another day. No problem. I dropped back on Friday bringing my own bottle of Windex and paper towels. The detailer confronted me in front of the owner stating that I said the windows were fine the day I picked the SUV up! I reiterated that I had called earlier ... twice but was out of town and the SUV sat unused for almost two weeks. Further I didnt notice the windows were smeared until driving after dark several days after service. I asked him to get into the SUV and have a look himself. He bluntly refused and John, the owner lied stating he NEVER spoke with me previously! WTH?Now who allows their employee to confront a paying customer? Its like a restaurant manager allowing a cook to fight with an unsatisfied customer over a poorly prepared dish. No, the dish is sent back and redone or the issue is fixed in some way.Not only were the windows smeared but also the entire dash display was as well. Anywhere there was plastic was smeared and greasy looking. But I just asked for the windshield to be done. Further, when getting gas on my way home from the airport, I had noticed that they hadnt cleaned inside the gas flap. Ugh! I never even mentioned that gem of poor service. It would have taken about 10 minutes to fix the dirty window problem. But instead, they chose to lose a client and possible future clients due to which was probably nothing aside from an employees ego and lack of honesty on the part of the owner. Poor management! To not remedy a complaint is nothing short of bad business! Over a dirty windshield they deemed it worth this bad review ... not to mention the people Im in touch with in my own business who will be given very negative feedback about the state of Sonnys under the new ownership. I warned them of this, their response was, We dont care. Not a good business attitude and incredibly ... not very smart either.

The only reason for the one star was because you had to select one. my parents car came back from him in worse condition then went into him. They have a 2015 Camry and by no means is it dirty they are a retired couple that toke a leap on Bob and was high disappointed. He said there is no way to get the sears looking new and to remove grime from the cup holders or to keep windows from smearing... REALLY.... well I will be filing a dispute to bank, as well as report to BBB and also contact my attorney. Seems like a small thing to be angry about, but how many other people has he done this to???
