After multiple phone calls today for a shipment I was supposed to receive on Friday and consistently being told I’ll receive a phone call in 20 minutes. No one has contacted me. I was supposed to get a call an hour before delivery and received neither. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. For me to be faked out with no contact then told to call and schedule an appointment for my product, that should’ve arrived by Friday. I’m doing the calling and being ignored and still without my delivery. Wasted time can’t be repaired

Extremely disappointed. Our freight is just sitting in a terminal in Chicago! We have been waiting weeks for this shipment and every week, something new with this company. We are trying to just pick up our freight because we are very behind schedule due to this issue. And now we are having trouble picking up our OWN freight. This company is a nightmare.

Staff is extremely rude. The yard is dangerous so keep an eye out for local drivers and yard dogs driving around the yard like they are in a race.

Very dark at night. Dangerously dark. Dolly was left in the middle of parking, in the darkness. Very difficult to get the trailers, the way theyre parked. Impossible to get them out without help. Some very rude people. Nobodys waiting for anyone. No order.

From the operators to the delivery driver, everyone was very polite and easy to work with. I did get the email about the delay so I called and they were very polite and let me know the new time. It was no problem. Keep doing a great job folks.

This company when it comes to quality, stands out. The employees really believe in taking care of the customer’s freight. If you are looking for a carrier to move your freight, use them and you will not be disappointed.

The spotters pack the yard like sardines and expect regular drivers to back into those tight spots. 1-2 inches clearance on both sides of trailer. No room to let down landing gears or release from trailer. Spotter got mad and rude BUT ole well!!! 🤷🏽‍♂️

First time to this terminal. Its clean and easy to back into a door with a 53 and a highway tractor. The staff were very friendly and helpful, only reason for 4 stars was our return trailer was 500lbs over on the trailer axle on a 35,000 load

THIS COMPANY SUCKS!!!!!! I ordered a custom item back in June which uses Saia for freight delivery. The driver gets within 50 feet of my neighborhood and tells me he cannot enter due to weight restrictions on his truck. Fine, fine, never heard of this before but whatever. He takes the item back to the warehouse and tells me someone will deliver the following day with a smaller truck.......NOPE! Then I call and schedule AGAIN for the following day and guess what?????? NO-SHOW! I still have no item and do not trust this company any further. I am most likely going to rent a truck, screw my $180 that I paid, and pick up the damn thing myself.

Words cannot describe the frustration in working with a dishonest and greedy company as Saia Motor Freight. They debit your bank account for 100+ dollars when you least expect it. This as a racket done by hundreds of freight companies on a daily basis. They make Millions of dollars each year offering extra services to the recipient and then they back charge the shipper.

They are wonderful at delivering our items.

Busy place but quick in/out

Over two hours late beyond a 5 hour delivery window! We had a delivery scheduled for today and the window was 11AM - 4 PM. At 3:55 pm I called the company to inquire of the drivers schedule. Customer service said they had no way to contact the driver. At 5:20 I called Customer service again and was told the driver was on his way and should be there in minutes. The driver arrived at 6:15 pm. He was professional and friendly, but said he had a rough day. I asked him if he had our phone number. He did. He said the company is supposed to call customers to tell them of delays, etc. Obviously this company has communication issues with their customers and their drivers.

Some drivers are very dangerous. looking forward to action in a nearly fatal incident.
