I am so glad that I found this group… I called them in an emergency as I had lost a gold Crown and they were able to glue it back without any drama pomp or circumstance now now I just had my teeth cleaned for the 2nd time and Ive got to tell you its the best teeth cleaning perhaps that Ive ever had! The staff is professional the environment is basically state at the art and it is convenient as well. I will be their customer for years to come!

I just had a consultation with Dr. Abboud for an implant. From the moment I walked into the reception area I knew this place was something special .Kristin the manager was so cheerful and friendly. The reception area was so beautifully designed with water features, high ceilings, leather couches and chairs and perfect light fixtures. Dr. Abboud came to greet me and gave me a tour on the way the exam rooms. He explained everything to me and didnt rush. Such a refreshing and modern take on dentistry. I now look forward to having my dentistry done. I give this practice a A++++++++

I have been to many dentist offices before and have never received the professionalism I had gotten at 1st Dental. I had a great experience from the receptionist to the assistant to the doctor.

Dr.Murad is an amazing dentist! She is so friendly, puts you at ease, so gentle! I had the worst case of dental phobia, Dr. Murad completely cured me. I have had several root canals, an extraction today,felt no pain the whole time! Her assistant was so sweet and very thorough, the staff at the desk are so friendly. The office is beautiful and very clean! I highly recommend 1st Family Dental and Dr Murad! You will be happy you did!

I recently moved and was looking for a new dentist in the area, so this was my first time to this office. I was pleased with the new patient onboarding process. Both my hygienist and dentist made me comfortable that I made a good choice.

Would highly recommend to friends and family. My dental hygienist Fran was great to work. She was patient with my bothersome tooth. The office is really nice and clean!

Me and my family came here because we thought it would be a nice place to come. It was clean, a gorgeous setup and great staff. There was one other good thing about this place and it was that the lady at the front desk, she was very kind and she treated us with a lot of respect. We came here when i had my braces and the orthodontist was extremely rude and had nothing nice to say anytime we came in. We had to leave there because of her. However, when i got the braces off we decided to come back. I came in for a cleaning today and the hygienist Fran was very nice to me towards the beginning but was rude while doing the cleaning. She had said that I was young and had SEVERE gingivitis and had said that I needed to clean a lot better. She also told me that I needed to take better care of my teeth before they fall out when i’m older. she was very rude and was trying to get us to come in way more to help this “severe gingivitis.” Very disappointed with the staff and customer service. I did not appreciate how she talked to me. She had also told me and my dad that we would need to come in a lot more for more cleanings. It was as if she was trying to sales pitch her company. She then proceeded to tell us that even though we had told her that the insurance only covers 2 cleanings a year. We then kept telling her that my orthodontist at the Andersonville location had said my teeth looked perfect. Priar to this conversation I had told her that my gums were a little swollen when I got my braces off and that the orthodontist had said I needed to to watch them to make sure they didn’t any worse. With me telling her this information, she had proceeded to tell me that my “gingivitis was very severe.” Do not recommend this location at all. If you are looking to come here and are able to, go to the Andersonville location in Chicago. They have much better staff and will take very good care of you and will treat you a lot better then this location (Burr Ridge). Other then that DO NOT recommend this location at all.

I was a patient of 1st Family Dental in Burr Ridge for a few years, untill now. Had an appointment for cleaning back in October 2020, but they decided not to do it, because I was pregnant at the time and it needed to be done with some medications, so we decided to postpone it. I am a selfpay patient,  so I always pay at the time of a visit and I was told at that time that I OWE NOTHING because nothing was done, just to receive a text message in April 2021- six months later, that I owe $52 for that visit... I called them assuming it was a mistake and tried to explain what happened and what I was told then- that I wont be charged, but the girl who answered didnt even listen what I was trying to say and she just kept repeating that I owe money, not even giving me an answer for what and why now?! I literally paid just to sit and get up of the chair. I dont understand that kind of business policy where they can change their minds and rules like that, whenever they want. Really disappointed.

Dr. Aboud is the most compassionate dentist. He’s been my dentist and good friend for many years and always provides exceptional care. The office is immaculate, clean, and inviting. Don’t hesitate to receive your dental care at first family dental.

The Manager there is just awful and rude. I simply wanted the problem they caused fixed. The root canal done there has hurt since the day the process started. I have had to visit 3 separate times, to get the crown shaved down and it is still to high. All I wanted was this to be corrected. I have had to contact a attorney, and a new dentist to get this fixed.

Every single employee was sooo nice, nice and clean facility.

As always, courteous, professional & state of the art facility with the latest equipment. Dr. Abboud is great, hes very knowledgeable and explains to you the exact situation with all your options. Highly recommend this clinic.

Ive been going here now about 2 or 3 years. Loved everyone Ive encountered. They did an excellent job and today with covid-19 protections you get your temperature taken before check in. Theres a sign off on questions about travel and exposure to covid as well. The office and and waiting area has always been clean and neat. The wait wasnt long and my session didnt take long. I was in need of a tooth extraction and bonegraft & went to 1st Family Dental in Burr Ridge. I saw Dr.Murad for the 1st consultation, she made everything sound great and I went with them. The week before the surgery she said Dr. Ghassan would be performing my surgery. He came in looked at it didnt say much. Day of the surgery..he seemed mad as if he didnt wanted to perform the surgery. I was in for over 1hr and a half. This has been my worst experience with a dentist, i literally felt like walking out halfway, this man did not asked or said Im going to numb you or here I go with the needle he would grab me & put the injection as he pleased and not even asked if I was in pain. He kept going in and out of the room as he pleased waiting for my gums to be numb but when he tried to pull my tooth it was painful due to the fact that the numbness was going away! & had to inject me again! finally extracted my tooth and did the bonegraft (which failed) he walked out. Didnt even bother to tell me how to take care of it or anything. The fake tooth(flipper)that they made for me didnt even fit right he had to shave it off. It was so painful having that thing on. I asked the assistant for information which he did answered my questions but couldnt ask much since I couldnt really talk, Dr. Ghassan was horrible in every way!! I had to google my questions because nobody bother to call and see how I was doing. Yes they email you some information but I had alot more questions! I went in because I noticed that the graft was falling off and my tooth on the side was moving with pain due to the pressure of the flipper that was too big & I had to force in every time! I go in and see another dentist which she seemed concerned about the graft and the receding of my gums. She FINALLY sent me with the periodontist which if I knew the terms of all dentist jobs I should of gone with her since the beginning!! I dont know why Dr. Murad didnt sent me with her since the beginning knowing how bad the receding of my gums looked. Once with the periodontist as she explained why my bonegraft failed and all the work I needed done and the fact that I waisted my money on something that Dr Ghassan knew it was going to fail!! I was mad! The periodontist clearly said that if she would of looked at my Xrays since the beginning she would of known that the type of bonegraft he put was going fail. I waisted my time and money towards something that didnt work, not to mention the pain! and now I might lose more teeth. I spoke to one of the receptionist about it and she stated that she would talk to Dr. Ghassan and see if he would give me a discount towards a new flipper that I was going to need BUT never got back to me. Then I went again and acted like she cared and how hard it was finding Dr Ghassan but again never got back to me! This place only cares about your money and thats it! This place is about quantity Not quality! I regret going to this place, they honestly dont care. PLEASE save yourself time and money, go elsewhere.I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone who wants to get dental implants or bonegraft!.

Horrible experience the first time I went there for a root canal the doctor was great but this time I had a different dentist his name is Ghassan Abboud he was very rude did not acknowledge me did not ask any questions started doing the numbing right away he was putting more pressure on my mouth that he really needs to I hope they talk to him because I do see I’m not the first person to have a horrible experience with.

Just moved to the Chicago area and needed a new dentist. This location was close to my work and had amazing Google reviews so I gave it a shot. Kristen the manager greeting me when I came in and made me feel very welcome. The facility was very clean and had a nice waiting room with TVs and coffee. Veronica Hoffman did an amazing job with my teeth cleaning. I would highly recommend this location for anyone.

Had a teeth cleaning performed. The dental assistant was pleasant and very thorough. The cleaning was painless. I brush my teeth twice a day with an electric toothbrush and use a water pick or floss every night . It pays!

Dr. Sandy Murad was wonderful! She is kind, professional and competent. I feel safe in her chair and confident she will take great care of my teeth. I had my first appointment for teeth cleaning at First Family Dental yesterday at the Burr Ridge facility. When I was walking in I noticed a “Service Van” that had their name on the side of the van. I mentioned this to the receptionist and she said since 1st Family has several offices, it makes sense for them to have their own staff that takes care of the mechanical operations themselves. The office is very modern, nice real leather chairs in the waiting area and very spacious. I met with Veronica, the Dental Hygienist and she was very professional and covered all the bases and was even aware that special care had to be taken with me because I had a hip replacement. It seems that many dentists get out of Dental School and team up with an older dentist that is thinking of retiring soon. So that newly graduated dentist buys the Dental Practice so the older dentist can retire. Good idea, but along with the practice, they buy all of the equipment too. That equipment is normally not the latest technology and the newer technology costs a lot of money. It looks like 1st Family Dental built the business from the ground up with the latest and newest technology. The x-ray experience was delightful, quick and immediate. I was very scared of the dentist and getting work done on my teeth but then I found this place and they made me feel completely relaxed . I had not went to the dentist in years and was embarrassed about it but they made me feel completely comfortable! We were looking for a new dentist for my daughter, who had been having some tooth pain. We found 1st Family through our insurance website on Thursday, and were able to get an appointment for Monday on-line. The waiting area is more like a spa than a dentist and the technician was very friendly. At the visit, my daughter got her check-up and cleaning, and the old filling causing the pain was removed and replaced in the same visit. And we were able to schedule an appointment for that Friday to have her wisdom teeth removed. I love the full service aspect (rather than having to find a different dental professional for the wisdom teeth), the ease of scheduling, and the ability to do so much on-line. Very happy that we tried this practice.

I was seen for the first time in the office this week by Dr. Alia Ahmed, she was absolutely the nicest dentist Ive ever seen. She was very sweet and caring. She kept checking in to make sure I couldnt feel the pain from the double root canal she performed. Her staff was also very friendly and caring. And the atmosphere was amazing. If I could give this office 10 stars instead of 5 I would. Ill definitely be returning to Dr. Ahmed for all my dental needs.

My dog knocked in my face causing trauma to a front tooth, when I was told I needed a root canal I was frightened at 1st! But I was in and out in no time and no more pain. That totally deserves 5 stars!

I went in to get my teeth checked because they were always bleeding when I brushed them. I knew I had had my 2 appointments for the year, so I asked if I was going to be charged for this appointment. They told me no. A few weeks later I received a bill from them. I refuted it but I was told it was my fault because I didnt know my benefits. I did not ask for the additional cleaning, only to help determine the cause of my teeth bleeding. They covered half the cost, which I appreciate, but I still feel scammed.

Amazing staff, assistants and doctors. The office itself is so, so beautiful. I was beyond impressed by how wonderful and helpful everybody was when I came in as an emergency patient in a lot of pain , and on the same day I called. It was my very first visit to their office, but definitely not my last.

Horrible experience should have walked out . Kids running around in the reception no shoes and looked like no one was aware of covid guidelines. Scheduler stated that I would have to wait 10 days till I could be seen. Wow always listen to your 6th sense.

I got 4 wisdom teeth removed. I was super nervous and uneasy however, everyone was amazing! Kristen specifically made my visit pleasant, comfortable and she helped me to be informed regarding payment and recovery. She even checked up on my that evening! Dr. Murad was pleasant and the dental assistants answered all of my questions, no matter how simple they seemed.

I had an appointment yesterday at their Burr Ridge location after coming across an online ad - a $79.99 promotion which includes X-rays, consultation and cleaning for new customers. After the X-rays & consultation, the Dentist said my teeth looked good but the dental hygienist recommended a deep clean due a small amount of gingivitis. Since I was self-pay she offered to go up front & do a price comparison. Moments later the receptionist came back to tell me the recommended deep cleaning is not included in the $99 new customer rate and I would need to pay an additional $200 for a total of $299. I declined and said I’d rather proceed with the regular cleaning w/ the much cheaper new customer rate. The Receptionist said the regular cleaning was no longer available to me as I had been “diagnosed” with needing a deep cleaning. I still declined as I didn’t want to be up-sold and forced into an unwanted service. After returning to the lobby, the receptionist demanded $99 for the x-rays & consultation to which I told her I’d be happy to pay as long as that accompanies a cleaning. Once again, she refused and said my only option would be the deep cleaning at $299 so I left w/o paying. The interaction with the receptionist left me feeling dirty. I felt she was trying to bully me into paying an excessive service but I’m happy I stood my ground and refused to pay. The entire ordeal was a big waste of time and I would never recommend this company based on these shady business practices. I left a voice message with customer service but they have yet to respond. Full disclosure, my last cleaning was April 2018 but my teeth are in great condition as I floss and brush twice a day

Front desk staff was friendly. Waiting area was peaceful including aroma therapy and two beautiful waterfalls. Xray equipment doesnt require the lead blanket nor the tech to leave the room. The hygienist/Veronica was very professional, friendly, and kind. I hadnt been to dentist in over a year but they took time to clean and polish my teeth. Even though I was a new patient to them with history of sleep apnea and grind my teeth they werent selling me on all kinds of products. They informed my of some solutions. Its great to have a dentist close to work that has flexible hours and friendly staff. Hooray for a future with better dental care!

We recently moved to Chicago area. My mother in law needed help and after research we found this place. She did not speak English (only arabic) and we decided to schedule appointment. Stuff and the doctor were multilingual, but It was not the only reason we decide to go there, I found a lot of great review about them. We could not be happier with service they provide. She keep talking how nice the doctor was. I plan to go to there myself and Ill bring my husband too.
