If I could leave a zero or negative star review I would. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in my construction career placing and acquiring my specialties materials. Be warned that if you are working with Specialties direct your project will be delayed or incomplete. I will be a kind human and leave their sales representatives name out of this but from beginning to end the experience was horrendous.

This was a bad experience all the way around, topped off with shoddy work. After less than a week after installing bathroom partitions, two of them started wobbling--one eventually came off the wall entirely. After several weeks and several phone calls and voice mails, I had still not received any word from them. They were quick to give us quotes and cash their checks, but then completely lost interest when the work was to begin. Eventually we had to pay someone else to come and repair the inept work done by Specialties Direct--it was then that we were told that whoever installed it either had no experience or that he very well knew that the partitions could not possible have stayed on the wall for very long. Very, very disappointing. With seven restaurants, and work being done on five, Specialties Direct will not be getting any more of our business. Today we had the director of SciTech asking where we got the partitions because she needs to have new ones installed--I was only too happy to share our experience with her.
