In September, I had my 42 year old cement garage floor coated by Flooring Expo of Burnsville. Over the years it had become pitted from years of road salt. The whole process went great and the floor looks terrific. The photos show the before stage, patching stage and finished look. The staff was very informative about the process and the application of the new coating was completed in one day plus an extra day drying time. The only tough part was moving everything out of the garage to a storage container I rented. An added plus is Flooring Expos excellent lifetime warranty of materials and workmanship.

This was our second purchase from Flooring Expo, we had an equally amazing experience with the one in St. Louis Park. In SLP we purchased luxury vinyl plank and this time we purchased carpet. Both experiences were fantastic! From order to install with our carpet took less than 2 weeks. Deciding on carpet was a breeze! Kristi is so knowledgeable and took a few ideas we had and our price point and provided us with options, which helped identify exactly what we wanted. Install was great! Start to finish they tore out and put in 450 square feet in about 2.5 hours. Bonus! They will haul away and recycle so that your old carpet doesn’t end up in a landfill. So many great things to say. Again, make sure you ask for Kristi! She is knowledgable, professional, and helped us narrow down exactly what we wanted. Worked with John & Scott to get flooring for our bathroom. We were pretty last minute getting to them, but they crushed it by keeping in contact with us consistently to ensure that we would have it in time! I was SO impressed by the quality of customer service and simply how kind and friendly the employees were here.

We purchased laminate flooring to replace both a tile floor and a cork floor at Burnsville Carpet King. We worked with Scott, the manager at the store. Scott was helpful, knowledgeable and very easy to work with. The installers were prompt- arriving at 9 in the morning, and working until 8 that night to get the job finished- very friendly and they did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves and left no mess at all. Will definitely recommend Scott and his location, and will use again when we finish our basement next year!

Friendly staff and knowledgeable. The Burnsville, MN store has great variety and prices that will fit any budget. The quality of carpet shows in their samples. They also do garage floor coverings which is my next project.

I have used Carpet King and I too had a problem with a nylon carpet. I was told it is the best fiber. They sent an inspector out and he agreed that the carpet had failed. They replaced the carpet at no cost and we have had the carpet now for three years and it looks like new. The staff at Carpet King went above and beyond to keep us informed every step of the way. Great service !!! Not to mention their price was very competitive! I recommend them every chance I get.

Took four weeks from the first date to last date of installation. Four weeks of having our living room torn apart. Three days off of work (so far, we have to do another one now to have things fixed but no guarantees it will be fixed). The first installation day they didnt have the baseboards or the correct transition pieces so couldnt finish the project. The second installation day (scheduled two weeks later), the installer said he didnt have all the materials (transition pieces) and wasnt paid to do that piece. By the third installation date, they had brought most of the correct pieces except a garage door transition piece we had paid for but by that point we just needed our living room to be livable again so had them finish what he could. In the end, we were left with poor installation quality with the baseboards being uneven and transition pieces coming up. I had to leave several voice messages that were never returned over weeks. Eventually, I got in contact with someone who said I can email photos of the installation which i did. One week later I recieved a response that they could come check it out in December. I really wish i had read the reviews before going through this company. The entire process for installation and customer service has been hell and a waste of money. The only good thing was the experience with the sales rep who came to our house. Please avoid if you can. I would recommend if you like their flooring styles, having the free consultation then get the flooring information and order it yourself and pay someone else to install it. It will be much cheaper and will avoid all the drama. We ordered our flooring in September. Its now the end of November and out out floors are still not up to professional standards. The worst part is the customer service that has not made any of the experience right.

Friendly staff that kept the ball moving with great communication. The measurement guy and installer had decades of experience under their belt so we knew the carpet was going to be installed just fine. The end product turned out great. Couldnt have asked for more! Thank you!

DO NOT USE! Horrible customer service. Installers left our home without toilets for days over a holiday when we were hosting and had been assured it would be fixed. Didn’t have all the flooring pieces, took weeks for the floor to be finished. Bait and switch pricing. I wish I could give them 0 stars. Spend your money elsewhere.

Scheduling install is like working with the cable company. Be prepared to lose a fair amount of work scheduling around a 3 hour window just waiting for a call to tell you when that day they will be there.

From show room to installation, the service and attention to detail were amazing. For my next carpet install, I will be back.

Great experience start to finish!

I went in to them asking for a carpet that is for high traffic and that will last for a long time as carpet is spendy. I was sold a 100 percent nylon carpet that was a bur bur style and after 6 months it is all ready worn in the places we walk on. I am very disappointed and I called to tell them I should not see wear marks all ready. they sent some dude to look at it and he states there is nothing wrong with it. They are not doing anything to help fight for a warranty to be used. What is the point to pay for one if they will not except it. I am confused on how a carpet after 6 months with a family of 4 and one medium dog will wear carpet that fast. This company sucks at taking care of there clients. Do not try to cut corners on cheaper places that do not stand behind there products. Pay the extra and go down the street to through bred carpet. I know a worker there and they are always willing to help you. Carpet king/trade direct is horrible company!

This company and the installer were so disappointing. The wrong flooring was installed by a novice. It was painfully obvious to me when I returned home that the flooring was the wrong color, incorrectly installed, nails were shot through the top of the flooring, not hidden as is recommended by the manufacturer. Gaps were left in between the boards. The floor was damaged by the installers tools. This is a nightmare. Carpet Kings corporate representative was rude & argumentive. Waste of time, money & patience.

Installers sent in by Carpet King were terrible. They broke a light fixture and initially claimed they didnt do it. Weve been pounding in staples for days after stepping on them. I have sore feet. They also didnt clean up very well.

Every experience from pricing to installation was unorganized and miscommunicated. Not what you expect when spending thousands. I should have stuck to Home Depot.
