I’ve never had my car towed ever but today I left all negative thoughts out! Chris (Kris) was so friendly and helpful she made the process go fast. Absolutely fantastic!! The starter went out on our car and our insurance company’s road side assistance was going to be hours. We called Captain Towing and they were so fast, kind, professional, and the customer service we received from the owner and Ben the tow truck driver was truly some of the best service we’ve had with a business! My sons 2013 AWD Subaru Impreza was towed to their facility and sat overnight. My son picked it up in the morning, drove it approximately 15 feet and heard a noise underneath, called me and I told him to go in and let someone there know, he was told that they did nothing wrong, car was dollied, if you can prove we did something wrong we will fix it, never offered to look at it, nothing but denial. I called twice and spoke with an employee and the owner, more denial of any wrong doing and zero offers of any assistance, I live out of state so theres not much I can do from where I am.Found them extremely rude and not helpful at all, didnt ask for tow and would never ask or recommend to anyone EVER., Looking at roughly $2500.00 in repairs, new transmission and rear differential, diagnosed in local transmission shop. (who are very friendly and helpful and have great reviews as well) Rated 1 star only because it made me....

This company towed my truck from apartment parking lot with a visible visitor permit. I was to travel back to New Jersey at 4AM. Came out and the truck was gone. Called 911 and they told me the truck was towed. The guy didnt even know there was a parking permit on the rear view mirror. How do you tow a car with a parking permit? I am so inconvenienced and so mad. I am considering sueing them and reporting them to the state. This is very unprofessional. I wish I could give them zero stars.

Saw him driving on the highway swerving like mad at 9pm on a tues night. Guy nearly missed his turn somehow and yanked it hard right and could have easily flipped the entire rig, as I saw the suv on the back shake from the turn.

Watched a newer f550 bed driving around maplewood without his bed in bedlocks on HWY 61. Not only not safe but incredibly hard on equipment. If they dont care enough too ensure proper utilization of the safety features on their trucks with the possibilty of damaging their own trucks how do you think their attention too detail is on your car

We had a tow pickup scheduled for 8am and they didnt show up until 10am after we called twice. The people who answered the phone were not very friendly. However, the man who showed up was efficient and helpful and we didnt have to do anything. I understand its a busy time of year for towing, but they could have been more professional.

Predatory towing, price gouging, the girlfriends car broke down at holiday. She asked permission to leave it there and come get it the next day. When she got back to the store they had already towed it. Called captains and they say the tow was 375 for 1 day

Amazing Job! When I called Captain Towing I (nor they) had any idea what it was going to take to get my boat and trailer onto their flat bed. My boat trailer leaf spring had broke and one axle wasnt even attached to the boat anymore. On top of that, the wheel hub was resting on my tire and the tire couldnt move with half of the boats weight on it.When the first truck couldnt do it himself he called for backup. He and the second truck skillfully lifted my boat onto the trailer using two rigs. It was an amazing job and they did it with precision teamwork, care and professionalism. I cant thank them enough for getting me out of that precarious position. They could have easily said we cant do this tow but they did not. They got it safely to the mechanic and it saved our weekend family vacation. Thank you!

I can not say enough wonderful things about this guy (the owner). Im picking up a prescription on my way home from work. Its literally 1 degree out and freezing. Im at the drive thru of the pharmacy and because of the way the road is setup I had to go in reverse and it sent both my 2 right tires over a wall! This guy comes out, invests a good hour at least being very careful and strategic trying extremely hard not to hurt my car and send it flying over the wall! Finally, he was able to adjust everything ever so slightly, he got it back onto the road and not any damage to my vehicle or the wall. This guy is amazing. I will definitely recommend him to others. He was very professional, and took his time to do it correctly. I am SO grateful. Thank you!!

Your company provided the tow through Ford Roadside assistance yesterday to Apple Valley Ford. Just wanted to say thanks for a job well done. Even with the cold temps service was prompt. I didn’t get the operators name (sorry about that) but on a scale of 1 – 10 he was an 11!

I was greatly impressed with the service. During a massive storm and floods, Brandon picked up my car and delivered it to my home and genuinely seemed like he was glad to do it, even though he was soaked to the bone! Regarding some earlier comments, I never had to talk to anybody on the phone because the service was prompt and it seems that some people gave bad reviews over their own idiocy. I, for one, had a great first time experience having to deal with a towing company. Thanks!

The service was everything it should be. Great service, great guy. Being stuck in a parking lot more than an hour from home when every service station is closed (Sunday PM) can be a bit nerve-racking, but Captain Transport made things easy for us. I can not say enough of good things.

Hacks. They dont answer the phones, they stole a truck I was unloading equipment from at my own residence. Then hide. No captains here, just bilge scum.

These guys go above and beyond. I have had my car towed twice by Captain. The first time, my tire blew out on the highway. The second, my brakes went out. Both Drivers were prompt, very courteous and looked out for my interests in situations which were an absolute nightmare.I seldom write reviews but I felt compelled to because of the great service I have received from this company.

I had a horrible experience with hitting some black ice, and having my car go flying into a deep ditch. After being over charged by another company, and upset that my car no longer was able to run, I didnt know what to do. So I spent an hour calling around to see who could tow my vehicle over 30 miles. To no prevail, Captain Towing offered me a great rate and was willing to tow the vehicle. No only was he very apologetic for taking so long, he was even willing to back my car into my garage and let me take pictures of it. He was very professional, and gave me great information about my car. His rates were very reasonable, and he looked like he knew how to do his job. Would HIGHLY recommend for anyone who has been in an accident of any kind. Thank you very much for your services!

Driver on 169 at about 315pm today needs to go back to driving school. 70 in a 60 and no blinkers. Driving too close as well. You would think someone in a truck with his company name would drive a little more cautious.

Cant believe these clowns have a business license. For the record, it was my fault it got towed so Im not even upset about that and was nice up until they told me I couldnt have my car for sending mysterious reason. They tow a car at 930 am, have it confirmed on their lot at around noon and told I cant come get it until the evening. If you can avoid them, do it. Also, $350! What a bunch of con artists. When I asked why I couldnt pick it up, the really nice (sarcasm, shes horrible) gal on the phone told me she didnt have a reason nor was there a supervisor on site and thats just how it is. Oh, wait, she was the supervisor. HA!! So they hold your vehicle hostage even if you pay them. I called the police and they told me to I should talk to Burnsville city Hall about the towing license they have. Ill do that, and the BBB and anywhere else I can find that may some how cause someone there to be even slightly inconvenienced. The gal on the phone deserves whatever horrible things happen to her in life, that is for sure. Thanks for your garage service.

Theres one guy in particular that works there (he has an accent, short build) that always wakes up on the wrong side of the bed , for obvious reasons just walk around him, he has to learn not to take his bad days out on others. Bless his soul

Was forced to use this company because I needed a tow after an accident and this was who State Farm called to use, I will now be contacting state farm and advising them to terminate any contract they have or refrain from EVER having their customers use them again. I waited on the side of the road for 20 minutes after I was told by state farm that the tow company would call me to confirm my location. They never called. Since it had been a while I followed up with the company myself just to make sure the driver knew where I was because it was a semi isolated area. I was answered by the owner who immediately began yelling at me that they only got the order ten minutes prior and he had repeatedly called me but no one answered. I asked him to give me the number he was calling as it was clearly incorrect and he yelled at me further cutting me off and saying he couldnt give it to me as he was driving?! Then dont answer the phone? He also had NO greeting when answering the phone forcing me to ask and even confirm that I had the right company. When I began to get defensive that I was being yelled at for giving them business I began to yell back just to even have him hear me as he was speaking over me everytime I tried to clarify that I was just confirming the driver knew where to go. Never have I dealt with more rude and unprofessional behavior and will be calling state farm immediately. Thank goodness their driver, Trevor, was professional and apologetic for the HORRENDOUS service we were given. I sincerely hope this review helps someone else as no one should ever have to endure such service.

Excellent customer service and prompt response. I couldnt reach family/friends since it was the middle of the night. Captain Towing came thru for me and was so accommodating, especially for being middle of the night, dark, etc. Even though I hope to never get in that situation again, if it happens, Ill call Captains Towing.

If you could give zero stars I would, my roadside assistance picked this company so I had no choice. They showed up 4 hours later then they quoted. They then towed my vehicle to the wrong location, when I called and talked to the office they couldnt have cared any less. Ultimately they ended up damaging my vehicle and did not return the tow key needed to tow my car in the future. Will not respond to email or take any responsibility. STAY AWAY

Couldnt get my car back because they were mysteriously NOT OPEN during posted business hours (I came at 10:30 and again at 11:15 on Sunday). Only accepts cash, which is obviously problematic when they charge so much that it exceeds daily ATM limits. But maybe thats the point -- forces you to wait until next day so they can charge another $45 storage fee.Edit: Yes -- thats exactly what they did! Charged me for yet another day. Theyre completely unaccountable!

This company is a complete joke. Had an appt set for today @ 8;00am with owner after speaking to him yesterday. Went there to go pick up the vehicle nobody was there. Called the number numerous times finally a driver answer said the owner should be there & said he will call him to find out whats going on & will call me back. He never called back so after 25 minutes I call the number again the owner answered told him that we are there to pick up a vehicle he said I needed to call & make an appt I said we did yesterday & he said that was yesterday needed to call him today & he hung up. I called back he answer again I said are you going to hang up again he says yes & hung up. I called back again to tell him we are there he hung up again & now won’t answer his phone. This company should not be in business!

Extremely unprofessional I was towed because I parked in the Aldi parking lot went into Aldi to buy a drink and headed to a different store inside the same strip mall. Came out and saw that my car wasnt there left no trace or phone number to call to get my car back after I was towed. Went into their dirty office that smelled like garbage gave them $260 although the towing fee was $250 because they had no change to give back to me. Honestly this isnt a business these guys are unprofessional and scam people and all they want to take is your money. Hope this place closes down so no one has to go through what I went through.

I got stranded a couple days ago maybe 25 miles away from home, with no way to get anywhere, and everything was closing fast. My roadside assistance has set up the service with Captain to tow my car & said it will be an hour. I got a text msg right away with a local number to call; just in case I used that number and called Captain direct because the receptionists dont always really know whats going on; the guy got my info and said he is sending someone. Well the driver called me in a couple minutes and said he ll be there in 15 minutes. That was good news. He showed up right in 15. Knew what he was doing, got on it right away, tested my battery, and since I still requested towing service (was reluctant to drive car for safety reasons), he looked up a good service and parts store around and took us there. I had a very good experience with this service. This was a Good Bad Day if you could have one.

Horrible. Our insurance company contacted them for us via our roadside assistance through our insurance plan. They lied about arrival time twice and we ended up waiting over two hours before we finally had our insurance company schedule with a different towing company. Apparently insurance roadside assistance calls go to the bottom of their priority list.

Ive never used this company, but the driver was very unsafe. He ran a red light long after it had turned red; speeding while towing a car.
