George has been taking care of my cars for almost 20 years. Reliable, fair, does great work. Most importantly, he is HONEST. I will not take my cars anywhere else.Preventative maintenance is the KEY to making your cars last. Let George be the guy to take care of your cars. I do everything here: batteries, tires, brakes, alignments, and maintenance. My cars have run better, lasted longer, and have had fewer issues since I met George.Plus, George is a great guy.

A few weeks ago, my sons tire came off his van just before getting on a freeway home from his work & damaging his right front fender. This happened after an oil change & tire rotation about 3-weeks earlier at Master Auto.> NO other person had touched his wheels since the work at Master Auto! Feeling sad that George had gone on the defensive and saying lugnuts dont take that long to loosen up. I have talked with other certified mechanics & they say it CAN happen if the lugnuts werent fully tightened in that time span & were also saddened Master Automotive didnt take responsibility (I never mentioned Masters name, as I have known George since he was a mechanic working for Larrys Nicollet Center in 1991, the repair shop he eventually bought from Larry to become Smith Neilsen, then to Master Automotive! ❤Master Automotive and George were AWESOME mechanics and a friend for all my family car needs !!! 😀 ❤ ❤Thats why I am very saddened this turned so sour for my sons vehicle because Master Automotive was the LAST ones to touch those wheels, even though it was a few weeks before the lugnuts on that right front wheel came loose!! AND, THANKING GOD THAT HE WASNT ON THE FREEWAY THAT HE WOULD HAVE BEEN WITHIN MINUTES!Same thing happened to my sons van a few years ago at another tire shop after new tires were put on and that was about two weeks after they put the lugnuts on his left front tire! But, that tire shop owner stepped up immediately and fixed his left front wheel, ordered parts to fix & paid a body shop for left front fender to be fixed because front end crashed down on wheel as wheel came off & rolled down the street. That tire shop owner insisted on paying personally instead of sending to tire shops insurance!Now, my son needs to pay $750 out of his pocket to get his wheel fixed & $1,000 to get a body shop to fix the fender.Thank you MASTER AUTOMOTIVE & owner George for ALL OF YOUR DEDICATED WORK ON ALL MY VEHICLES SINCE 1991!!!YOU WERE A LITERAL GOD-SEND TO ME AND MY FAMILY, SIR IN ALL OF THOSE YEARS! And, the lug nuts if not tightened securely, CAN loosen after a few weeks of driving!😢 😢

Knowledgeable, professional and friendly service. My car is lowered and has aftermarket adjustable control arms, so my car was in for a 4 wheel alignment. They were able to adjust to what I wanted, and now my car drives perfectly straight.

So I read reviews but dont leave them. This place is too awesome to not leave a review. Being new to the south metro I was hoping to find an honest auto shop. Meeting owner George was a pleasure. You wont be disappointed!

George and his team went way above and beyond to meet the needs of our family. George laid out all the options in layman terms and his costs were extremely reasonable. George is someone I would trust with all my cars. I wish we lived closer to Burnsville, George and his team would be our go-to shop for all of our automotive needs.

I have taken my vehicle to Master Automotive several times (from a simple oil change to a timing belt service) and I have always received great service at a fair price. They do good work and take the time to explain what they did and their reasoning for doing it. I will be working with them in the future for any automotive need I dont feel like tackling myself.

George does an excellent job at not only diagnosing the issue but saying that in a way that makes sense to the customer. Most shops will try to get you for anything these guys go above and beyond and make sure they take care of there customers I went in there assuming I needed new tires cause I had a nail in one of mine they pulled the nail and sent me on my way highly recommend this shop

Quick diagnosis. I stopped in to talk with George about a vacuum leak and he pointed me to a soft recall that Ford did on a brake booster. He sent me over to Ford to confirm. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely coming back. We need more people like George.

Needed a major repair done. Ended up needing some additional parts. Completed job in a very timely manner. Took time to show the old parts, explain the repair and answer questions. Very honest and passionate about the work they do. I will be going back and highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a truly honest repair shop.

We came there on short notice with 2 nail s in our tire. They took us in right away and did a outstanding job for a very affordable price. We tried other shops but they didnt have the tools to do it nor the experience to patch it. We highly recommend this autoshop. Best one ive been to in minnesota.

We have been customers of Master Automotive for the past 10 years. They have consistently provided quality service at reasonable prices. Most importantly they have been honest in their assessment of our family cars, advising us when service is advised, and also advising us when repairs are not necessary, or when the car should be sold or traded in on another vehicle.

The owner went out of his way to explain the issue and how they were fixing it. He introduced me to staff. They fixed things quickly and offered assistance anytime - literally giving me their direct 24-hour line. The shop was clean and care was shown for the customers experience.

I have a vehicle with really high miles that I leave at home with the wife when I am out traveling the Midwest. I dont worry when I leave town now because I know George and his team will take care of my wife and our old car when I am away.He is great and I could not say enough about his service and quality of work. Very very disappointed with the work done with my Chevy Cruze. Kept on saying this is how things are done and weve been doing this for years but I dont think they actually have because they didnt seem like they know what they were doing.Pass on this mechanic, go find somewhere else that knows what theyre doing

You are honest! I feel like I am not being taken advantage of when I bring my vehicle in to be serviced. You are only fixing what needs to be fixed,

I drove from ND to MN to drive my young son to MSP airport so he could take a non-stop flight to SFO. When I got back to my car awhile later, my car would not start. I called a tow-truck and he referred me to George at Masters Automotive to get it checked out. Now, its near the end of the day and George and his crew knew my other two children and I had to drive back home that night and he was so insistent on making sure everything was alright with my car and it was safe for us to drive home! I was so frantic when I first got there, but George and his crew ran some tests and took the time out to explain to me in detail what they were doing and what I could do in the future and gave me some options. He did not gauge me in this vulnerable situation and I found them to be honest and caring people. He even gave my two-year old a popsicle and helped me calm him down during his tantrum (long day) If I lived closer I would have everyone I know go there! Thanks again George and crew!
