The people in the office are VERY bad at communicating between themselves and the residents! The fire alarm went off on accident just before 8 am and they never sent out a text or email saying it was a false alarm. Another time, my shower was leaking and maintenance came and fixed it. Two days later he comes back because they printed out the form again for him. After I moved out, the manager called saying she never got my forwarding address, even though I gave it to them on three different pieces of paper!! Their website is not kept up to date, they do not tell you when maintenance is done so you can use your water again, and inspections take three days and they dont tell you what day they are coming. Most of the time they didnt even come and will reschedule it two more times! Also, when it rains the court yard floods and so does the bottom of the stairwell, with more water leaking into the garage. I could easily keep going. Dont live here.

First I’d like to say I’m a busy man with a job that consist of managing a area of stores for a multi billion dollar company and that requires my attention 24/7. That being said I needed to relocate at the drop of a hat and scheduled a opt to look at a apt here at this residence.Upon arriving I was greeted with a respectful smile and an abundance of welcoming energy!They broke down everything for me and were very thorough with the lease and everything that details that.Showed me available apts but really went above and beyond to get me the right fit for my specific needs.The respect, and professionalism displayed here was refreshing. I’ve had no issues here and I’ve been a resident for some time now and what I really appreciated is during the process they made it personable verses transactional. This is truly a display of customer connect.Like every company there are small yet minor flaws that take understanding as a person to solve together and that’s what makes it such a pleasant experience here for myself.I’ll close this with saying if this was one of my locations I was managing I would be very proud of my team and all they do here.Great job Stone grove and thank you for my enjoyable stay so far.

I have been a resident for about 8 months here at the stone grove apartments, I have also faced multiple hurtles as I grow into a young adult. Lucky the management here is very helpful and understanding of my situations. They have worked with me numerous times. Everyone I interact with has met me with a smile and a timely answer, or put in effort to get me one. For example Laura W has been helping me all day while I adjust into my new apartment (I had to move floors for personal reasons), even though she was the only one in the office on this extremely hot day. I appreciated immensely.

I would like to shout out management team && especially Brenda Boyd for working with me with assistance during this pandemic & going above & beyond to make sure I was a happy tenant & providing me with different resources & understanding that life does happen ! Thank you all so much.

Management is awesome, the place is very clean, quiet, and the best quality is that it is dog friendly. It’s hard to find a place to rent with the type of dog I have. But they’re very welcoming here. Everyone is super friendly

Do not rent in this place, the manager is nice to you just when you are there, hot water runs out and they cut off water just like that they dont even send you a notice. I move out and they still charging for stuff that when I move in it was like that, but they dont listen and they tell you straight that they going to send you to collection if you dont pay. I didnt get my deposit when I pay my rent monthly on time. They dont deserve your money, just go and find something else somewhere else. I was hoping to get the deposit but no I still have to pay. Im really disappointed at this place. Please just think before going into this place and dont rent here.

I would like to take time to thank the Stone Grove Maintenance team. Shout out to Tony for coming to fix our emergency water issue, and another shout out to Jeroboam, for coming to fix the leak in our bathtub. You guys are wonderful maintenance team! Very courteous, and respectful.

My parents and I have lived here longer than 3 years here and the quality of service deteriorates every year. The only thing is that staff are really nice. Wish they could manage a more decent property. It takes pestering for maintenance to come and can take over months for them to finally do things about it. The garage is always dripping water and it smells really bad in there. They also have an annoying restriction as to how long you can have a guest for because of the parking. They give you a max of 7 nights for parking permit a month or else you get towed. The rent for these horrible apartments is crazy! Over $1,400 and it only keeps increasing. Would not ever want to live here and regret ever moving in to begin with. I moved out for college and am glad I dont have to deal with cockroach problems

The office was closed on the first, so I turned in my keys on the second. Less than a month later, I expected to receive my deposit, but instead received a letter from a collection agency.Called the office to discuss this issue. I demanded to know why I received this, without ever having had received a bill in the first place. A woman named Ashley informed me that the bill was sent out on the first. Well, how could that be when nobody else had been in the apt on the first. I turned in the keys on the second. Then she promptly hung up on me and did not answer when I called again.That is just a blip of everything that I experienced while living there.

This is my first time renting at this apartment and so far it’s was very impressive! I know people are looking for nice apartment, for me very perfect and nice location!

Plus the staff was so helpful with our transition. AND we got our FULL security deposit back on our original apartment!I love luving at Stone Grove. The location is great. This place is nice the apartment but don’t wast your time to apply if you end up not wanting the apartment end of the day they tell you you had 72 hours to make a choice if you want it or not they say one thing then another and will force you to pay $300 deposit no matter if you get the apartment or if you don’t you got pay the $300 .

I enjoyed working with the team at Stone Grove Apartments. I was originally planning on relocating back to Minneapolis but my plans fell through. I took a tour and was impressed with the amenities for the price that they offered. I was quoted a reasonable rate for a 1 bedroom which came with heated parking and storage. They also included some of the utilities which I thought was nice. The building is a bit older but its apparent that they are maintaining it. If I end up relocating to Minnesota, I will definitely rent at Stone Grove. The staff was great, the Apartment was a nice size and Ill recommend them to anyone looking in the Burnsville area!

Terrible people running that place. They tow you any chance they get. Cash grab. Not to mention the crazy rates for a iffy quality place. STAY AWAY. 6 months left and I’m gone

BEWARE: Management does not communicate with their renters about car thefts, car break ins, and storage thefts that takes place frequently in their own parking lots and storage units. There is little concern for tenants safety and well being by them maintaining silence and not notifying tenants of crimes that are occurring at Stone Grove. Renters: Make sure your insurance policies cover frequent theft if you plan on making this place your home!

Good luck getting your deposit back. I moved in and the carpet was old. It actually looked like they had different carpets in each room since some were discolored. Just what i paid for. Didnt complain. Ended up loosing double the deposit because and I quote My carpet wasnt clean when I left, even after thoroughly vacuuming and shampooing. House was spotless when I left it. Still going to fight on for my money back.

They take your close out of the washer and just put them wherever, I didnt get a walk through apon move in, the system they have to let people in to your apartment still hasnt been set up for me! They never answer the front office phone when you need something. Im so over this place and iv only been here a month!UPDATE!Been here almost a year and still hate it! Don’t waste your money or time coming to this place they do not care about anything. Kids always running up and down the halls and are so disrespectful when you ask them to stop. We rented at Stone Grove blind, having never visited the property. We were moving cross-country and needed a place with specific amenities (a pool, pet-friendly, affordability) that would allow us to complete the rental process online and on the phone. There are surprisingly few options when trying to do this long distance, so we were relieved when we happened upon Stone Groves website.The staff has gone above and beyond in the realm of customer service. The property has issues as any complex of its size and age would have, but the team seems diligent and conscientious about attending to them. Problems have been resolved quickly and to my satisfaction, and in a friendly and professional manner.The community is diverse, with lots of children and pets about, making it feel like a neighborhood and not just a complex. It could use a little more attention to the grounds (litter in common areas, for example), but thats more a reflection on people not picking up after themselves than on management.

Im currently living here and I hate this place with a passion Ive been here for four months and they havent done anything to fix my apartment, the hallway smell trash everywhere, office people are rude to there renters, being charged things Im not even using.. If you are considering moving DONT youll regret it as soon as you move in.. Please read the other reviews and youll see Im not the only one that thinks this place is horrible... I thought all of these reviews were just upset tenants, until I saw for myself. A few things were wrong about the apartment rented to me number one the side door. A security deposit is charged but the side door doesn’t lock not to mention the door on my unit they know they wouldn’t be comfortable with having on their home, it clearly needs to be replaced. After shelling out $2100 I got here and the unit wasn’t clean there was dabree under the heater which works when it wants to, everything is painted the phone jacks, culk that is supposed to be around the tub is painted, around the knobs of the tub are painted. The people above me have a dog that runs over my head excessively, I haven’t had much sleep or peace here. My bedroom set still in the box no pictures hung up, after notifying them and requesting an upper unit it was blown off. The pipes under the kitchen sink which are plastic have broken I put an email in not fixed yet. I didn’t know Burnsville had projects they have these amazing pictures online and will even show U a newer model but it won’t be the one U move into. The tenants kids throw stuff on the floors no matter how management tries to maintain and keep the property clean, kids runnin all thru the halls, the garage door can be heard opening if U live on the end lower side. The side door opens and shuts all night anyone can walk in and kill everyone on the first floor if they wanted to🤦🏾‍♀️

If you need water to live, dont come here. No water. If you happen to get water by chance and need to shower, no hot water. Once again, No HOT water. Dont come here!!!

So many issues with this place. disgusting conditions, Our apartment was missing many things,the building is a complete garbage dump, our cars were towed for parking in OUR OWN spot, the property manager is not one bit helpful, and the prices are too high for what you get, and for the location its in. We were also forced into signing a 15 month lease. This place is a joke. Im so upset we have 12 more months to go. Please do not move here.

The neighbors are noisy and the office does nothing to control volume, tons of maintenance issues with the apartment from day 1, apartment was FILTHY upon move in, we found clothing in the closets still from the previous tenants, hallways are filled with trash, carpets are covered in mystery stains (a lot of reviews say some of them are PISS STAINS), the building absolutely reeks, people leave MOUNDS of clothing all over the laundry room, there are dents in our ceilings, our linoleum floors are stained and even ripping, there are scratches INSIDE our toilet that make it look constantly filthy, the dishwasher is filthy, there are broken outlets, one of the stove tops doesnt work, the tub was covered in mineral deposits, the staff is NOT good with having maintenance done in a timely manner and they will try to tell you they cant fix simple things.This place is NOT up to the codes they need to follow according to the Minnesota Statutes section 216c.27If you love yourself, move anywhere but here.

Things will go missing from your apartment. When no one is home. People or staff will enter and go through your stuff.I dont feel safe. Dirty underwear from my laundry hamper was out of my room in the apartment hallway. Expensive jeans are missing as well.Managers gets in fight in the parking lot.Very noisy apartment. Stairwells smell horrible. Garage door is not secure at all. Anyone could walk in and damage your car.Parking lot floods Everytime it rains. Have fun swimming to your car after a rain fall.They dont prep your apartment at all before move in so try enjoying moving into an apartment where nothing is functional.If you call and leave a voicemail for the staff dont expect a call for 3-7 days. Or if they dont feel like Handeling the problem they will not even call you. Been waiting for a month now for a call back.

Giving Stone Grove five stars because out of the entire of time that I have lived here, I have never had a problem with living here and the office staff are excellent!

There is a lot of extra little cost that I was not informed of nor was the agency that helped me get in here. there seems to be a major disconnect between the office and the maintenance team. When I initially moved in there was an inspection done on my apartment the day before I was allowed to move in there was a list of three things required by law they were to be repaired before I could move in under the section 8 rules and they did not get repaired for almost two months and still yet what I would consider an important repair of my own that I added to the list Im still waiting on and Ive been here almost 4 months . And there was an extreme bug problem when I initially moved in it was fruit flies and nats were the worst of it and I sprayed a whole lot of raide many many times in my apartment trying to keep them a little under control it seems they finally got a little handle on it when they bleached down the garbage chute room is what my personal care attendant said had happened. Yes the place the hallways and the community areas are really dirty on a regular basis but I would expect this of a place that only has one main full-time caretaker and I think theres one other gal that does some apartment turnovers but there are three large buildings here and it would be necessary to have at least one cleaning person in each building to maintain any sort of cleanliness and things also are not be maintained I really dont know what the maintenance team looks like butt even stuff just on the outside the building looking pretty worn down. I lived here 20 years ago just before the major makeover I was a young single mom and had several friends also young single moms that lived here and the place was much better maintained at that time even though it was decorated like something out of the 60s and 70s things were much cleaner otherwise we would not have been here with our small children I also have found there are some real safety issues to be concerned with there is security here certain hours in the evenings and I think that probably helps to a certain extent but some of the safety issues have to do with other tenants living in the community I think somehow maybe getting together and having meetings could help to figure out Ways of working on these issues . So I just thought I would mention a few of these things since Im stuck here for at least a year and it used to be so much better years ago.

My significant other and I had no major issues with this place until Real Estate Equities Management LLC took over in June 2012. We used to receive monthly newsletters informing us of various activities offered to the apartment community but now all we get are notes informing us to, do so and so or else pay a fine. It is painfully obvious that this place only cares about money and could not care less about their residents.Yesterday, sometime after 3pm, the office people slipped notes under the doors saying that they will be plowing the lot today so all cars had to be moved out of the lot from 9am-1pm or else they will be towed at the owners expense. While this seems the normal procedure for apartments, we were not expecting to be rudely woken up this morning by someone pounding on our door saying, You have a car in the lot that needs to be moved. You have 5 minutes. This was at 8:10am. We went out to move our car and noticed that there was a tow truck already waiting in the parking lot roughly an hour before the designated removal time. At 8:53 we were outside on our balcony and saw that an SUV was already up on the flatbed of 1 of 3 tow trucks, and a car was hooked up to another. The owner of the car came out BEFORE 9AM and it appeared as though she had to pay the tow truck driver to release her vehicle even though they had it hooked up BEFORE 9AM.Ive never been more livid with an apartment management group before as I am with Real Estate Equities LLC and I beg of you to never move here and never give them a penny of your money because they wouldnt help you if you were dying.

Horrible place to rent from. No one in the office cared to do a walk-through on my move-in day. It was filthy. There was previous tenants garbage in it, the carpets were still wet, dried juice on the linoleum floors, and the bathroom reeked of piss. Nobody had even stepped foot in it besides the carpet cleaners! The grass at the back buildings is overgrown and the clippings dont get picked up (but the front building is nicely cut/picked up). If you have a dog, stock up on frontline cuz its going to get covered in ticks from the overgrown grass. The hallways are filthy and elevator smells like piss. The neighbors leave their garbage all over the garbage chute floor. Half of the washers in the back building are broken and filled with mold! Of course, the office area is cleaned almost daily and would never let it be neglected. The back buildings are ignored until enough complaints come in, and only then will anything be taken care of for a couple weeks until theyre tired of the upkeep. I would steer clear of this apartment complex.

This place is booboo!!Cops are here just about every dayGarbage everywhereElevators are small, slow, and very scary.Cars are always vandalized or broken into.The garage Im paying tons of money for is not safe AT ALL.Management could care less about our problems. I do not like the customer service or management. Theyre not consistent with their stories, Im being charged for things Im not even utilizing. Were charged late fees for rent even if a holiday falls on a weekend. They are so inconsiderate. Ive given them a notice about my parking space and they took my sticker away yet Im still being charged for the parking space that I am not using and Ive given a notice for. Theres also no signals in the homes, and it is beyond dirty!!! I can not wait to finish my year and get the heck out of this garbage place.

THE MAINTENANCE MEN AND CLEANING PPL ARE ALWAYS IN THE OFFICE AFTER HOURS LOOKING @ PPLS INFO SS#s, DOBs,ALL OUR INFO! IT TAKES AT LEAST 2 WEEKS BEFORE THEY FIX ANYTHING & I MEAN ANYTHING @ ALL. HOW COME WE HAVE TO ASK AT LEAST 3 TIMES FOR A RUNNING REFRIGERATOR WITH 2 KIDS IN THE HOME OR 1 WINDOW WHILE THE A.C WENT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER @ 96° OUTSIDE HOTTER INSIDE! I COULDNT EVEN COOK BECAUSE IT WAS THAT HOT! I PROMISE THEY MAKE IT LOOK DECENT@ 1ST BUT YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY BE MAKING THE WORST DECISION EVER & WILL REGRET IT WITHIN A FEW DAYS! JUST A HEADS UP WISH I DID MUCH MORE HOUSE HUNTING NOW THAT IM STUCK HERE! NASTY NASTY PLACE! We still live here but when we moved here the front door was scratched up, the kitchen cabinets were scratched up and stained, the balcony door has no lock, we have saw one mice and my mom called and they removed the mice and NOW WE HAVE A COCKROACH PROBLEM!!! they told us we had to remove every thing from inside the cabinets and the GUY that came didnt even do a good job so me and my mom had to buy poison spray and poison gel and it kinda work but we still do see some once in a while...we moved in here and one of the rooms window could not open but now it can thx to MY MOM now but now the other rooms window cant open because kid throw rock and bend it. the halls always stinck like something, the entrance to the building all ways stick like wet dog and OH GOSH THERE IS ALWAYS DOG POOP IN THE PLAY GROUND AND ANYWHERE AROUND GRASS...last week my brother scooters wheel stinked and we wonder why well it was dog poo oh wait there more when you go to the office for theme to send some one to fix a problem they ALWAYS say they will make a note of it or that bathroom problems is NOT a problem and they have bigger problems and on side the off the brass curtain rod was broken and the they said they fixed it 2 months ago it fell when one of my siblings was taking a shower and they said they would FIX it again but days went by and they never did so my mom bought one and fixed it her self...these 8 months weve been here its been problem after problem...we can not wait for the lice to come and for us to get THE HECK out of this place now we wish we saw the reviews before we moved here OH and Im lazy so I was so happy to see the apt came with a dishwasher but once we got here I found out it doesnt work at all so yeah this place is not good..DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!...my mom is always fixing every thing and she works all morning and to see her doing other peoples job makes me so MAD....STONE GROVE ATP. My advise to Stone Grove apartment owners, please fire most of your employees and hire more competent and professional people to run your place. This is not acceptable!!!!!

This place is crap. It looked nice at first but that was before I moved in. They will tow your car at will, mine was towed this morning to Fridley, not Burnsville but Fridley for a measly $270 Ill be able to get it out. Apartment maintenance, Ha, they fix nothing and when they attempt to fix it they leave a horrible mess. The tenants are mostly section 8 and dont care about the place. It is always filthy, Ive seen garbage sit in the hall for over a week. Fire trucks and cops are here DAILY, and I mean DAILY. Peace and Quiet? Not here, looking for the ghetto? Found it. Ive had people begging me for money and cigarettes when Im trying to get into my apartment. My car was keyed when it was in the garage, a bunch of cars were egged outside of the place. They jacked my rent $150 a month after my lease came up. Theres a new manager every other month, Ive had their workers walk into my apartment twice unannounced, they claimed they were on the wrong floor. I keep my place very clean, cant wait to see how bad they rape me on the deposit. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE, YOUVE BEEN WARNED

*UPDATE 5/31* Going to have to take this place to court and report them for tampering with our gas line the day before we were turning in our keys (someone pulled out the oven, turned it on to 300 degrees, and then turned on one of the gas burners without lighting it and left it like that; the smell was so bad it could be smelled with the door closed in the hallway!). Taking them to court over all of the absolute BS and harassment that both my husband and I have received as well as all the lies we have been told when we have them recorded saying otherwise.WORST COMPLEX EVER! Car was broken in to 4 times, moved our car to in front of a camera, few weeks later other cars had their windows smashed in. Maintenance will go in to your apartment without your permission to fix things and they wont even be fixed properly; and that doesnt include the constant things around the complex that are almost always broken. Rent is UNGODLY high for the run down apartment that you get (most dont even have a dishwasher). Half the management is extremely rude, doesnt care about any issues that you might have (basically just tells you to deal with it), and they give you contradictory information depending on who you talk to and when you talk to them. Dont live here unless you want to have the worst living experience of your life!

I was not able to pay my rent online because of managements website technical issues. I left a voicemail message at the office on the 2nd of the month to inform them of this, but never heard back. On the 6th, I received a notice from management that, if I didnt pay my rent within 3 days, they were going to start eviction proceedings against me! I left another voicemail that night but still have not heard back. I was able to pay my rent, but my reason for not paying was not for lack of funds but because of their technical issues (and this is only my 3rd month in!). Its now the 15th. Nine days have gone by since my last voicemail message. This time I also left an inquiry on their website. Its also been 13 days since my initial call yet still, no return call. I see they sometimes monitor Google reviews, so maybe by going public I can get someones attention. Managements unresponsiveness stinks!Also, when my rent was due, I was given 4 vastly different amounts of what I am to pay. Id say that Ill just pay whats on my lease, but I still have not received a copy of my lease after 3 months so I have no clue what my real rent is and what is extra junk theyre billing me!This is not managements issue (maybe it is for not enforcing rules???), but people really should learn how to use a garbage chute. The room where the garbage chute is is always overflowing with trash because no one knows how to open a chute door and throw their trash away! And the smell - WOW!!!Im not a fan of this place and Ive lived in some pretty bad places before. I wish they had started their threatened eviction process so I could move out. Its funny how management tries to act tough and enforce rules when it pertains to rent payment, but they let other rules slide. I needed a place to live where I wouldnt be bothered by smoke. I was assured that I wouldnt have that problem here, but now that summers here I need to keep my AC on all the time, bake to death or deal with the disgusting cigar and cigarette smoke coming from the tenant downstairs. Again, I asked about this policy, but management is so non-confrontational here that they do nothing about it. Id gladly move out if they let me out of my lease with no penalties or reprisals.

OHHHH MY GOD..i dont know what to say about this apartment.i just move in a month ago.i hate it so much1/ no phone signal at all,inside apartment or inside you roomeven for emergence i cant get call2/ garbage is everywhere3/ it is too loud4/ room is small,rent is 725 not only that u pay water and electric. please please make sure u check it real good.before u move in this garbage apartment.

This is the worst place by far. If i could give it no stars i would. It smells disgusting the maintenance is horrible. The hallways are covered in trash and look so gross. People are constantly vandalizing the halls breaking exit signs. I have seen a diaper laying in the hall for two days straight if not more. When you ask them to come fix something they do a half ass job. I have been called the police on just for talking in my living room and that was considered a strike. Like seriously you can let all of this go but when Im not doing any harm to anyone else you have a problem cause you can hear me in my apartment when I can hear someones microwave going off down the hall thats not my fault.

Ive never seen such a unprofessional leasing staff , if I could give this place 0 stars for customer service I would .

My friend applied and they asked for a 300$ deposit he got approved the lady said the apartment would be ready on the 1st then 2 days before move in she changed the move in date to the 6th when he asked for the 300$ back they lying saying they told him it would be ready on the 3rd but I was with him and she definitely said the 1st or he never wouldve agree to apply for the apartment this place sucks wish we wouldve read all the reviews before he applied.

I moved in a month ago and so far so good one major problem garbage in halls but that is it

Maintenance its kind of slow sometimes

Very noisy neighbors above me have complained many times to office and was told to call security which only helps for a little bit . People pissed on the carpet in our entry and it has never been shampooed or taken care of . Apartment was never fully fixed upon move in and had to complain to office many times before it ever got fixed . Police are coming almost daily fire alarm has been set off by kids on 3 occasions just way to much to say about the high rent slum apartment if you dont like safety , sleep, and clean then move right in and suffer for a year !

The garbage room is over flowing into halls, the repairs on anything is a slow process ,dishwasher hasnt work since moved in almost 2 years ago.Parking is bad at best at worst you park in the street.Water is randomly off or no hot water with no notice.Also bills for rent are often late,after do date

The manager checked my mail and if she dont like they send it back I lost a cellphone $ 300 and a wallet $ 30 my brother lost 2 t-shirt $ 60.It is a garbage of place they check the mail I lost a phone of $ 300, a wallet of $ 30 and my brother lost 2 shirts $ 60 if they do not like the mail they return it, when I want to pay the rent they always return the check for 3 cents that They are not on the invoice.
