My daughter, 4, has been enrolled for nearly three months attending class four nights a week at the Burlington location and can not wait to get to class. Anyone with a young child can understand the sentiment behind that statement.The teachers are great at what they do, from introducing new techniques to discussing age appropriate life lessons. The self control they teach shows even outside of class. I can not think of an instance since she has started where she has not answered with a Maam or Sir in her response, and Im referring to outside of class.There is much to praise Sr. Master Macon and his team of teachers for but the self confidence, motivation and sheer joy I see in my daughter keep us here.

Great place to learn karate! Very professional

We heard of Macons Martial Arts, Burlington at the carousel festival last fall and signed up. My daughter absolutely loves it. She has gotten more confident and has made goals for herself. Mr. Plummer is patient yet teaches respect, loyalty, courtesy, and focus. He has a way with helping children feel like they are special! We love Macons Burlington!

I have been training at Macons Martial Arts for several years now and love it! My confidence, strength, flexibility and overall health have improved. I began taking classes to get better fitness but have acquired so much more. Mr. Plummer is very talented, knowledgeable, and patient. He always encourages his students and help them to be successful. I am better than I was but not as good as I will be. My journey is just beginning.

My son has been going for almost 3 years now! He started in the little leaders program he has became more confident, learned self discipline and respect. I too have joined some classes self defense and karate. I am learning a lot and everyday we both are very happy and excited to go to class. It is a great environment, positive attitudes and great life skills thought here. I would invite all my friend to come by and give it a try.

We love it. Gerard has always enjoyed getting balloons from various events from Mr. Plummer and now he gets to be in his classes. we love the discipline weve seen in our almost 5 year old. Gerard has always loved martial arts since he could walk and now getting to practice it means the world to him. The family time is a plus too :)

Mr. Plummer is an excellent instructor. A very patient, person with the Little Leaders. My son was very shy, and anxious when he started in January. After awhile under Mr.Plummers instruction, he has started to come out of his shell. 10 out of 10 will recommend to others. Great instructors, great environment.

I started my son Dallas Crymes in Martial arts back in January of this year and he was very shy and scared to even go in but when he finally got in he started have fun and now he is not shy and he is starting to go do things on his on like go into the classroom at church by hisself. The instructor is nice and is very good to my son.

Instructor Richard Plummer is very rude and pushy. He makes you think you are coming for a free trial and you can later decide when really hes all about money. He tried to force me to have my sons birthday party there, and he tried to force me to sign him up. 3 payments of 200$ or 6 payments of 150$......yeah you guys do the math. When I told him we would think about it he go up and walked away telling my son to leave the uniform in the table. Not one thank you for coming or nice having you in the class. I wanted to go off so bad but I couldnt in front of my 5yr old who had just had the best time thinking he was a power ranger. That place sucks ass!!!!! Worst experience ever. Dont go to Macons Martial Arts!!!!
