I trained at Brestyan’s under Mihai and Silvia Brestyan for 4 years from 2009-2014. It was not a good experience and I felt that the head coaches and some under them had a high disregard for athlete health and well being.They pushed me and my team mates to work through injuries, demeaned athletes, used tactics to pit girls against each other, commented on gymnasts weight, and frequently yelled at athletes till they cried.While I was there at least seven of my team mates had stress fractured backs from over use.Even after being out of gymnastics for 7 years I still have chronic pain from injuries I was encouraged to push throughout by Mihai and Sylvia.

Extremely overrated. Most likely milking the Aly Raisman card for years now. The teachers, well at least the one my daughter had, and the teacher that was overseeing another class next to my daughters, had the enthusiasm and excitement of a mortician. Waste of money. Go to Reading Gymnastics. They have it together there and show genuine interest in every student.
