Im so sorry to write this, I love supporting local business but fair is fair and I didnt have a good experience --- I went in for a bikini wax and couldnt even bring myself to get on the table. The room was very small - hardly big enough for the table and not in any way private. There is a curtain that stops just shy of the table level and its curled on the edges offering a clear eyeshot into the room from the main hallway. Big discrepancy between the updated, modern looking salon on the website and the actual location.

Rapunzel Salon is a great cozy salon in downtown Burlington. The staff are experienced, friendly, and talented. They make you feel comfortable and at home. Their pricing is very reasonable. I have been a client of Rapunzel for around 14 years and have always been very happy with my services. They really do do it all!

I love coming to this salon! The staff is warm and welcoming, and have always done a wonderful job with my hair. I have gotten my hair both highlighted, and cut, and the results have never been less than fantastic. The salon also has other services such as waxing, facials, and nails. They truly are a full service salon!

I have been going to Rapunzels for longer than I can remember. I go back and forth between Linda and Michelle depending on my schedule. I love the cut they give. Theyre both wonderful people, very good at what they do and very attentive. Im a real person to them, not just a customer.

I had a great experience at Rapunzel. Upon my arrival I was immediately offered something to drink. The wax room was small but very clean. My waxer was very polite and we made great conversation. I highly recommend this place! Excellent service, very polite.

Everything about this place is great, including the fact that Michelle was the first hairdresser to ask what I normally do with my hair, how I dry it, etc, and stepped up with several cool ideas. The haircut still looks great after three weeks

Linda is an expert in many areas with hair, and has a great eye. I always feel comfortable therer and know I am in good hands.

Lindas been my one and only for cuts and color since we still lived in NYC more than five years ago. I found her during a desperate search for someone who could really understand my hair (exceptionally thick, wavy/curly under various circumstances, unruly, and very fast growing), which trust me, has been screwed up by some of the most famous names in the business. I loved her at first meeting, and cut, and wont go to anyone else. Michelle is also a doll, and although I will forever be a Linda acolyte, Ive seen equally great-looking styles rise from Michelles chair! Rapunzel combines old-fashioned caring and customer service with the best in fashion-forward trends (yes, in Vermont), all at exceptionally reasonable prices. Avoid those salons on Church Street and go straight to the best. You wont regret it for a minute.
