This place is just ok. I gave 3 stars because after coming here for a few months because is walking distance from my house, today I finally got someone to take care of me that wasnt rude. Her name is Cindy and she was nice and did a great job with my nails. Ive been going to my regular place Im San Mateo, even have to drive instead of walk because of customer service, the ladies in San Mateo are really nice. The two guys that you have in this place are just rude and if you want to run a place like this you need to have your clients feel happy and welcomed.

FRAUD!!I went in for a service and was charged 40.00. I signed off on $40 and paid a tip via Venmo. Tamikas nail salon took it upon themselves to charge me $65.00 without my knowledge, which I did NOT sign for, and said that they charged me wrong. When I asked for it back, the reply I received was well can I have my pedicure back!? Terrible and unethical customer service.

If they know you they’ll do a great job but for new-comers trying to find a place please search elsewhere. I switched to the powder dip instead of the gel to get away from the uv light. This is the first place to ever use the uv light on a powder manicure. Normally the powder dips last 3 to 4 weeks and really just need to be changed because my nails have grown out but this powder lasted 2 days. I was back in town within the week for work and called to get just chipped nails repaired (which I shouldn’t have any this early on) and it was a hassle-needless to say I went elsewhere to get it repaired. I could have paid less money for a better job.

Got a Gel Manicure on Saturday. Today Wednesday two nails peeled off . 4 additional chips on 4 different nails. Clearly something was not used or done correctly. This is the worse gel manicure I’ve ever had.
