Before Dons I had my car at Goodie automotive for almost a month and they didnt fix a thing and wanted to charge me thousands of dollars for a list of things they said needed to be fixed. Good gravy this shop is full of angels! On a 2,000 mile road trip we had a bearing break and these AMAZING people were able to get it fixed and get us back on the road despite how badly we broke it. For as stressful of a situation it is to break down in the MIDDLE of the night 1,000 miles from home these guys surely made the process less stressful. Im not sure I can convey how happy and grateful we are for an amazing shop that knew that they were doing.

We had a great experience! We were on our way to Salt Lake during a snow storm and our car started to make a strange sound and was vibrating. We dropped into Don’s to get it checked out. They took it right in and tried to find the problem. Don came back and drove with my husband to try to detect the sound. It ended up being a very minor issue, but we were very pleased with the service and the price. Everyone at Don’s shop was very friendly! I highly recommend this shop!

My car was rattling and had a coolant leak and I needed it fixed ASAP since school is starting soon. I got my car in first thing in the morning yesterday and by mid afternoon I got a call that my car was not just diagnosed, but already ready to go!! The price was far less than I expected as well for the repairs and I absolutely did not expect to be back on the road the same day I took my car in. Service is excellent both over the phone and in person and my car is good as new and running better than before!! Excellent and now I see why they are so highly recommended!!! Thank you!!!

Doug and Julie are two of the most caring and honest people I have ever met. The first time I met them was during a recent cross country road trip to record music when my van broke down. I had my van towed to Dons Repair and at this point I was stranded. They made sure I was comfortable and even fed me while I waited for my family to pick me up. I am forever in debt to them for their hospitality and their overall kindness to a stranger they never met before. I will never forget these amazing people and consider them family. Bless them both and all the employees at Dons Repair. There are not many good people left these days and with all I had went through just trying to get to my destination I consider myself blessed to have met these terrific human beings

Great place. Took a car in on a Friday after their hours and we got a call back saying what was wrong with it and when itd be done. When we got the call saying it was done they stayed late to make sure we could get there and pick it up even though they were supposed to close almost 2 hours prior.

They did a great job fixing my car after it sustained damage in a wreck. I feel they are honest and they finished in good time.

I have receipts from them, I will post pictures of it. They scammed me and I will come back and get what it owed to me.Thieves. Simple and clear. My car broke down and was out of the question to fix, it was a transmission issue. Limited on money, we asked them for help if they knew where we could junk it or part it out. They said they knew someone and would take care of it, pay them for the assesment and sign the car over. They took out information with the intent on sending us the money because the yard was closed that day. 3 months later, no money. Dont go here, dont trust them.

We feel very blessed to have happened upon this repair shop!!! We were headed to a family reunion in our motorhome when we pulled over to get gas at the maverick in burley. Our motorhome started shaking and didn’t feel like we should keep driving. It was after work ours so we just searched online for an auto shop. We randomly picked this one because it opened the earliest. Right at 8 am the mechanics showed up, saw us, diagnosed the problem of a loose fan, then had us in our way in an hour! Definitely recommend this company! Very down to earth and knowledgeable!!

Our daughter broke down on the freeway and they found a tow service and took great care of her! She was back on her way very quickly! Great honest people!!

What a friendly and professional team! When my wife and I were traveling through Burley our rear pinion seal failed. Our vacation was about to be cancelled! A local contact recommended Doug and gave a call for us. These folks squeezed us in and got us on our way with just enough time to walk to lunch. Vacation saved. In my home town this would have taken at least a 24 hour wait. Wow!

My serpentine belt broke just south of Burley, ID. I had AAA tow me to Dons. We arrived just before 3pm and I was worried about timing. Don fit us in and, despite other issues which could not be immediately addressed before the shop closed, Don got my car driving so I could at least make it back to SLC. I really appreciate him fitting us in given our situation (trying to make it back to SLC on July 3rd and was likely all auto repair shops would be closed on July 4th). Honest, good service.

Honest folks that get the job done. I asked everyone around Burley who I should take my F150 to to get the check engine light looked at and everyone I asked said Dons repair. Apparently they are the best in Burley. I called them up and scheduled an appointment. I had to wait two weeks because they were so backlogged. I guess that is a good sign that theyre so busy. Anyway, the day came, dropped it off and by lunch if was done. They were a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend.
