We went for the breakfast buffet. Just before 9 am. Moderately busy time but before we left it became quite busy since churches had begun to let out. 6/24/18.All of the normal breakfast foods and as usual the personal omelets were being made. That line was not way too long for me to stand as wait for. After having been to several other franchises I have begun to think that they dont season the food due to so many peoples tastes are different, and or health issues that could be a detergent for that. There are options for seasoning and spicing you meals to your own taste buds. Service was decent. 2 things that didnt stop me from eating them were that there was overdone bacon and sausage patties. I did notice later after returning for a second plate there was some bacon ALOT less burnt. When I want a variety of foods for a group of people I think I will be back. Delicious Food, Caring Wait Staff and Easy on my pocketbook!

Food is great. Service is awful. Had to ASK a manager to please bring us drinks after 45 minutes of waiting for someone to acknowledge us.

The one star is for GOOGLE! The business is closed due to Covid. The building is GONE!!! I sent info in a week ago and it is still showing TEMPORARY CLOSED.....it is PERMANENTLY CLOSED!!!!!!!@

Staff service was great the drinks flowed freely and dishes were collected regularly.Always asked if we needed something to drink or if we needed anything else. Never rude always polite. Food needs to tasted before served. Meat seems a bit dry the New York strip steak I , think that is what it was and the meatloaf needed some living up. The fish and shrimp 🍤 is palatable. The steak sauce should be replaced by something else tasted odd between sweet and vinegar. The actual staff that is cooking should be placed on the boards as you enter. So you know and can give proper credit to the cooking staff that did the best.

I dine in this nice place from time to time! This is the best place to to have a good dinner. I go there many times. The meals are of high quality, the staff members are polite and the cost is affordable. I enjoy being in this place for a nice supper.

Clean, waitress was good, quality of food-some of the vegetable like I normally like to eat, didnt look appetizing or good. Looked like they had been sitting out for a bit. Steak was good on some there was too much fat but flavor was good. Salad was good, I dont eat dessert but some looked good.

Expensive. Sunday dinner was 18.51 with drink per person. For mediocre food in an area that doesnt have super high paying jobs, I wouldnt return. For the same price, you can go to outback or somewhere similar.

Service was great. Food was good, however, the selection was lacking. Quite a small buffet compared to other Golden Corrals weve eaten at. Still a good stop though if you need a quick meal.

Enjoyed lunch with coupon..previous visit we found the fried seafood and vegetable items to be cold..recent visit much better. I really enjoy their fried chicken and the real mashed potatoes with cream gravy i refuse to make at home. Their side dish of green beans were delicious..loaded with flavor. Instead of dessert I had seconds on my entree as nothing appealed to me...I can take or leave desserts. Nice for a change..wont ever make my favorite list though.

My elderly father-in-law really likes this place and so when he visits, our family often ends up going there. The food is pretty good, and especially for lunch or if one is a senior, the prices are quite reasonable. The bathrooms could use some cleaning and updating but otherwise theyre adequate. Since it is self-serve buffet style, the service is really not that relevant that I do have to say the lady that tended to the area that we sat in frequently came by the table to see if we needed refills of our beverages or anything. So I would rate the service as good.

This is the best golden corral Ive been to in years! The food was all hot and fresh. Everything was absolutely delicious! That includes the mac n cheese which is notoriously bad at buffets as a rule. I was very pleasantly surprised. Our waiter, Chris (I hope thats right, Im terrible with names!), was a superstar. He kept our drinks full, made sure we had plenty of rolls with regular AND honey butter, cleared empty plates as they were moved to the end of the table, AND he had the sunniest disposition. It was a true pleasure dining here and we will return soon!

Margie is the sweetest and the best server they have. I love going on Sunday mornings. She always has a smile and is very helpful.

Had good selection... Meat I got was very hard and dry but otherwise food was good...waitress was good about keeping drinks filled and picking up used plates... Price was reasonable for a buffet...overall experience was pleasant...Ill be back

Made it in time for breakfast and everything I had was excellent. I wont embarrass myself by telling you everything I tried, but trust me it was all very good. Fresh and delicious. Ive been to this location many times and am very rarely disappointed. Staff is always friendly and the place has always been reasonably clean.

Everything was fresh which was a change from when we last went. It was busy but they seemed to be keeping up very nice. Good experience the table service was spot on the drinks never emptied and we had what felt like an endless supply of fresh rolls. Nice job. Would go again.

Still a great place. Weve been going to the Golden Corral forever. Lol! So long that now we get the senior discount. Haha! The salad is always fresh at this location. Main courses and bakery are great too. We saw a little elderly man drop his tomato, pick it up and put it back on the salad bar! However, not to worry, because immediately the great staff were on it and saw him and quickly addressed it, cleaning all the way. Too funny! The buffet is clean. Children hang out by the buffet but the staff are kindly always providing service to help them not to grab food with their hands. Management needs to be more kind to staff and listen to and meet their needs. One guy quit right in front of all of us. Working conditions are most valuable. I know these people probably dont make much and are trying to make ends meet at home. We try to tip as great as we can afford to here.

We love to eat there once in awhile. Sometimes it is just delicious...but never consistant.And the stuff the call cornbread needs strawberries and whipped cream!! Sweeter than some cakes I make.

I called this Golden Corral and ordered 6 dozen rolls for Thanksgiving over a week in advance. The girl that took my order was sweet and assured me she had my order down. I called the day before Thanksgiving to confirm that my order was still good to go for the next day. The girl said “Yes mam! We have you down for 6 dozen rolls for 12pm pick up!”. Thanksgiving day- I drive the 25 minutes to this Golden Corral only to be told my order was supposed to be picked up by 10am and they would not fill my order. I confirmed twice that my pick up was for noon prior to pick up. They turned me away empty handed. Needless to say we aren’t having rolls for dinner. Terrible customer service! Will not go back & I’m happy to warn others.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good. The lemon meringue pie was excellent! Recommend for a good lunch.

Staff are sweet hearts the waiters try not to have you wait long the manager is an absolute sweetheart. The cook grills your stakes to perfection..The only down fall is the bathrooms could use allot of TLC..

Food was fresh. The niece and nephew loved the variety of the foods for breakfast.having all that selection and all of those choices were great to fill them up for a day of fun field Saturday activities 👍🏼

In honest truth. This place had the best steak I ever tasted. Although it was a buffet everything was fresh and tasty. The service staff was always on point with drinks as well. Well worth the visit. Cant wait to go again.

Last year I was about ready to write off this location. Not sure what happened but it is quickly becoming my favorite Golden Corral now! The service is friendly at my table & at the buffet, the food is tasty & fresh. The staff does their best to keep popular dishes available. Keep up the good work!

I only attended a meeting 4 new Medicare enrollment plans. We were blessed with an apple pie. They normally have very good food but I have never eaten at this particular Golden Corral. I will say this the restaurant did not inform their employees that there was a meeting being held. They also had their cash register down and unable to accept credit cards on the day I was there and was requiring everyone to pay cash.

Fresh rolls are the absolute best!! Pricey in my opinion, I dont eat that much, so I dont go too often. Food is good, cobblers could be more on a (Southern) homemade style. Servers are nice.

Food is fresh and good variety. I came in around lunchtime, lots of people there but plenty of seating for everyone. Because so many people were there, the more popular dishes would go pretty fast but they do their best to put out fresh batches as soon as possible. My server was cheerful, helpful, and never idol, cleaning and sweeping, etc after helping customers. The womens bathroom is clean and functional. I recommend this Golden Corral.

By far one of the best golden coralls Ive been to. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Food was stocked and if you didnt see something you wanted and asked about it 9 times out of 10 they had it and would direct you where to find it. If it was something they were cooking more of, they brought it directly to your table. My husband and I went during what would typically be dinner rush but it really didnt seem that busy. I will definitely be visiting again.

Decent salad bar, decent fish. Service is lackluster. Never seen an employee smile. They all look pretty miserable. The cover photo used is definitely a different restaurant.

Love this location. Its kinda homey even though it is large. On average the food is fresh and good. Depends on when you go as to whether or not you get good service.

My cashier Kody, and Cathy our server were very nice and friendly. They recommended the best food and our drinks were always full. The food was very tasty the dessert was too rich how ever.

My husband and I love going to Golden Corral is has different food there. Golden Corral food,and people that work there are very helpful.They have great food there. Great and nice servers to help you out any time you are there. You got to go to Golden Corral. We have made new friends at the Golden Corral. Go and have a great time at the Golden Corral as we do every time we go.The Golden Corral is a clean,helpful, decent, and great food.

Food was good! Waitress wasnt personable and there wasnt any rolls on the buffet. We had to ask for rolls and when we did we were only given two. The Ice cream machine definitely needed some maintenance And the Price was also different on the website. The experience was pleasant nonetheless

Horrible experience there today. Will NEVER GO BACK. Cashier didn’t know how to work the register. Waited in line about 10 minutes. When I got to the register she put a man with to go order in front of me. I said that the 94 year old man with me could not stand in line. She said he could go sit down. But he will not leave my side-afraid if getting lost. So she shrugged. When we sat down finally, asked the waitress where is the silverware. She said they hand it out at the cashier. Nope, not that cashier. Food was mediocre. Only good thing was a courteous, attentive waitress named Margie.

The food has improved over the years. Its not as bad as Home Town Buffet, but for the price it needs to be better. The price is a bit of a shock. A dinner with a drink is nearly $20.00 a person, that is over the top for me. If that was lowered to the $12 range, I would go there more and raise the review a bit. As it stands now, its a 3 out of 5 place.The staff is ok, not horrible but definitely not good. Weve had some staff that was friendly and others that were HORRIBLE. No eye contact, dont want to help yea, what do you want? kind of attitude.

Worst food Ive ever had at a golden corral. Brisket was dry and tough, literraly everything I tried was horrible and made me lose my appetite. Usually I give good reviews everywhere but my time here was so miserable I couldnt help it. For $40 For two adults is outrageous for the quality I recieved.

Very limited selection, everything was super dry. It was also not a clean place.Our waiter was really quick with refills though, so thank you to him.

The food is hit or miss at this location. Also the pricing is a little outrageous for the quality of the food. I understand that with a buffet its hard to keep food fresh but not only was it cold it was bland and most of the bread items tasted stale. I got there at the time where breakfast was closing down and lunch was starting and got to taste both sets of food and neither was worth the trip. Our waitress waited 15 minutes before even approaching our table and only refilled our glasses once after I flagged her down and we were the only table she had. Its good for big parties I guess but it will never be MY choice to go there

The kiddos, my wife, and I went here for 1st time in yrs.. food was great, really come a long way. But $55 for 4 ppl, (2 under the age of 11) is kind of ridiculous.

I came here looking forward to having brisket only to be disappointed. It was really dry. I even asked for a piece with fat on it to make up for the dryness but it didn’t help. I really HATE paying for something and not getting my money’s worth. Our waitress was really nice and attentive.

This place sucks so bad! Last two times Ive been there I swore id never go back. Place is old and out dated plus the food is always a let down. My friend really wanted to go today so I reluctantly agreed. Got a table and went to the bar and back to the table and sure enough the place was hot like the ac went out! It was nasty in there. We got our money back and left! The mgr that refund our money was sweaty and I felt bad for her. A waitress begged me to call the 800 number and complain because the management wont listen to their own employees to fix anything. Want a good buffet then go to AA China Buffet! Never going back to this Golden Corral!

Dont go there on a Sunday. The cost is off the charts. I went there today, 9/4/2016, and for three adults, 2 waters and 1 soda, the cost was over $49.00. Funny thing, I had just been there 3 days earlier with my girlfriend and the cost was less than $20.00. When I went back on Sunday, not only was the cost higher but the food layout was exactly the same. Why the increase in price? The food is not my complaint. Its the cost. There are a lot of choices in restaurants in that area. I can tell you for a fact that we will NOT be going back to Golden Corral.

I never get a clean vibe from here, all the staff is super nice though, its normally really busy when I go. 2 stars for how clean it is 5 stars on staff and 4 on food but the black olives and Zucchini I didnt like.

I went to eat dinner today, 12.26.18 and sat in Section 3. Mattie was the server. There was a white couple across from me and a white family in front of me. I am African American and I went alone. Mattie never once greeted me, offered me a roll, water, or even looked my way. She gave the white couple two Cokes and the man in the family in front of me a glass of tea. She never offered me anything and ignored me the whole time I was there. I asked for and complained to the manager, a young woman who just looked at me crazy and said something about looking into it. After waiting for 5 more minutes no one ever came to see what I needed. So I asked the cashier for a to-go plate and she had the nerve to tell me I would have to pay $7.99 for it. I told her I just paid $15.00 and I sure wasnt going to give another dime. I told her that I was taking my food with me because I did not like the service, and got my coat and left.

Nice place to grab a meal for the most part, but needs some work. A lot of work. If a Dennys ever opens up in Cleburne, I wont drive to Burleson for this place anymore.

I have always had good service at this location. But I never come here for their steak. Great assortment of vegetables and deserts.

Food was good, but my wife has had bariatric surgery and when she gets full she is full. She only had a small plate and a salad. Asked if she could take the rest of her salad home and the answer was only if you pay by the pound if what is left. Instead, they just threw it away. Could not seeing paying more when we already spent $36 for two people and neither of us ate much.

Not too good. The ham and chicken was dry. It had been there a while. Waited for someone to cut me a piece of meat and no one was there, so I just took the piece that was laying there. It was pretty dry, honestly. My wifes chicken was very dry. If it is any consolation, the mashed potatoes were good. I have found this dryness to be true in the different Golden Corals at which I have eaten. I was there during the lunch hour, around 1 pm. It seems that during the backside of 1 pm till 5 pm not much fresh is placed out, just eat what is left over from lunch.

My family and i visited Golden Corral during the lunch time hours and was confinsed that this was the best time to go! The buffet was at full capacity and pipping hot! Everyone was at leisure and all was good!

I wish I remembered our servers name, but she was awesome and very attentive. Food was excellent! Only complaint was ice cream was more cold cream than ice. We will be back!

Golden Corral was one of my favorite restaurants as a kid but experienced financial and quality decline for a few years. I just ate at the Golden Corral in Burleson, TX and really enjoyed it! This was the best Golden Corral I have had in 10 to 15 years and maybe the best ever! While I may not be from New Orleans, I especially loved the Burbon Street Chick and the Blueberry Pie! It wasnt dry for me at all!

If you want to stuff yourself with a variety of good food at a reasonable price this location has it.. clean place and friendly staff. Sporting lots of new things that actually taste pretty good..

Plates were discussing had to go through them to find one clean enough to use. Went to wash my hands there was No sign on the Mens room Door so I had to guess where it was, after washing my hands no paper towels were available and neither hand dryer was working properly, the whole restroom was unclean. I have been to many Golden Corral Restaurants this is by far the Worce one I have eaten at.

The food was ok. The service definitely could have used some help. We waited for a server to refill our drinks, after 30 minutes I went and found someone. She did bring 3 of the 4 drinks we asked for, and then about 10 minutes later she remembered the 4th. No one ever came to remove the plates from the table nor the tables around us. The worst part of our dining experience was the heat. It was extremely hot in the restaurant.

The food i chose was great. Nice selection. Wait staff was eh. The greeter was amazing. She was friendly and explained everything perfectly.

Went Thankgiving. Totally ran out of a lot of food and fried chicken and rolls 20 min wait. Sides they was leaving one serving and not putting out new batch. Never again. $70 fast food would have been better

Met friends for dinner Friday 16th. We went at 5:30 to avoid big crowds and that part was nice. It ended there. The price was $30/couple. The commercials on TV stated butterfly shrimp and prime rib, 1 inch thick on the commercial. The servers would not cut it any thicker than 1/4-1/2 inch even when asked. No butterfly shrimp, popcorn only. Sirloin was cut in little strips about an inch wide. Baked potatoes were hard as a rock, either not cooked or been there for days.I found a dirty plate and bowl in with the clean ones. Very disappointing night.

The sirloin and portobello mushrooms were great. Good table service for a party of 8 didnt have vanilla soft serv but had other options ...definitely will go there again. Only 1 issue our waitress brought her children in and somewhat forgot about her customers they were small and a bit unruly and created issues where we had to ask help from additional servers

The bathrooms are disgusting, the servers hoover while your eating desperately hinting for a tip. I alson found long pieces of hair wrapped around several of my orange slices. I informed the manager & she simply said Ill throw them away. We couldnt even enjoy one plate of food, everyone was digusted. I spent $40 for a meal that we never got to enjoy. In the end i asked for the corporate number & all the manager did was offer me 2 free kid meal coupons. Why would i want coupons to come back to a disgusting place?

Only reason they are getting a 2 star is because of their grill cook Scott he was extremely rude to the customer before me the manager had to step in. Then it was my turn and same exact attitude and I was told he had to cook a rare steak for a minimum of 10 mins. The restaurant itself wasnt bad. The manager was extremely nice.
