I have used several repair shops/dealers in the past 21 years on my John Deere 400 Tractor, but I have never been as happy as with the service, speed, and costs of dealing with Davis Small Engine! Every time I have needed repairs on any of my mowers the owner and staff have been extremely nice, courteous and enjoyable to talk with. I recommend them on a regular basis. They may not be some big dealer, but they have that down home charm you only find with businesses that care about their customers.

Took my lawn mower in for the valves to be reset was only supposed to take 2 hours instead took them over a month and they did work to it that I did not need and still charged me for it. Charges will be pressed for breach of contract I would never use them ever again and would not recommend any one to consider them for work.

They did a valve job on my lawn tractor about 3 yrs ago and it still runs great. Have since had them repair the tires for me( flats) Very reasonable price and good work. Would recommend them to anyone.

They had our zero turn mower for almost a year and didnt start working on it until repeated phone calls told us he was trying to save us money by letting it sit that was a joke in itself. All that was wrong with the mower is it wouldnt run replace the carburetor and the fuel filter and stopped an oil leak basically took the engine apart put it back together this took close to three weeks to do.we were told oh shouldnt cost no more then 500 bucks when they were done got a phone call saying they want 1200 bucks before they finished it well they didnt get that so grand total bill 1057 got the mower back started cutting grass with it and it threw a rod through the side of the motor so now I lost the money and dont have a mower and they guaranteed the work and now they say we have to buy the part to fix it? For the people who stands by them no offense but I wouldnt take my tricycle to them to be fixed

Davis have been fixing our push mowers for the past 16 years and have been doing a great job at a reasonable rate. Were happy to have such a good experience with them!

Together by 8/22, one month after they picked it up. We called them on the 22nd. Charles said they were almost finished with it. We pressed them for a delivery date and were told it could be delivered soon, but there was a problem with the warranty company (Power Plus) which is also a piece of work. We told them we would pay for it. One month and one day later, we finally got it back. My son had to work on it again once we got it home because we would not allow them to replace a blade. Quite frankly, I was afraid it might take another month for them to do it. Instead of putting the old blade back on it, they made a notation on the receipt cannot test unit with missing blade. This tells me they did not know at this point if the repair was even successful. Although the people I spoke to were probably not directly responsible for the ridiculous delays, their excuses sounded like the same dog and pony show they give everyone. Our experience with them was extremely subpar. I would not use them again if they were the only game in town. If your mower breaks down, find another repair shop or fix it yourself.
