So far so good. Just dropped off my truck for repair. Montana was courteous, professional, and seemed engaged with my concerns.Well see more after diagnostics and resultant repair down the road!UPDATE: Repair/replacement took a little bit longer than expected but, with the problems they found during the initial examination, that was to be expected. About three weeks.Picked-up my Mountaineer on June 9th at 10:05am. Montana was just as courteous as day one, and walked me through their work/performance guarantee paper work.After completing all paperwork and payment, I took the old boy home. The transmission felt much better, and positive. Unlike how it was when I brought it in for repair. Another 25 days, and Ill take it back for their follow-up examination and checkup.But, so far so good! Ill keep updating as we go along...

I first went to transmission xpress thinking I needed a new transmission because my car wouldn’t reverse and wouldn’t drive. Stressed about what may have been, they were very informative about the process and what the next steps were. The day they diagnosed my vehicle they said it was due to a broken axel. I’ve been to mechanics before where they weren’t the most honest and tried to get “more for your buck”, this place isn’t that, they are genuine in the work they do and extremely fair in their price. 5 stars all around!!!

Had transfer case replaced on my Xterra. Job was well done, inspected and confirmed by my colleagues, also expert in this field. I had a minor issue with the 4wd that they believe caused by the 4wd switch. We will figure it out. If it happens to be the switch, I’ll will update my review to 5 stars. But regardless of the outcome, I’m satisfied with the job done.

Transmission Xpress is the best! We have taken our vehicles in for maintenance/upkeep with them for a bit now and it’s always good work. They let us know what needs to be done without pressuring us to buy. My car battery died nearby recently and they were able to drive over and swap it out for me. If that isnt great customer service, then I don’t know what is. I highly recommend them.

I went to Transmission express to see if they could fix an issue I had with my Subaru, Montana could’ve said no but just the kindness and professionalism that he took to call me back and tell me if I would like to bring it in they can look at it and see what they can do. He took my vehicle and looked at it, told me that they couldn’t fix it but gave me some referrals to call someone he thought might be able to fix it. I have taken two - three different cars to Transmission Xpress they have always found the problems and my vehicles were on the road again right on time! As far as value Im so glad I found this business the work has been guaranteed, not that I have ever had to go back they do great work! The most trust worthy people in this neighborhood by far thats why Ive been going back and will in the future.

They took 2 days longer than they saidThey didnt know or couldnt figure out what a lever bushing was I had to replace it myself. They quoted 1250 for a clutch it was1400.

Dont go here if you want your vehicle serviced in a timely manner. It works fine but we were told that my husbands work vehicle would be done in a week. When we called back they said it would be another week but it kinda sounded like they hadnt done much on it. Finally on Thursday of the third week my husband got annoyed and they worked late that night to get it to him. He couldnt work while they had his van so it was frustrating.

These guys are Awesome!!! I searched around before picking Transmission Xpress, they had the best reviews, so I decided to just drop in. I was greeted like a good friend, Montana took the time to explain how my transmission would be fixed and gave a price that was below what I found online. My 2005 Dodge Magnum was in the shop for just over a week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. A month after it was repaired we took it on a road trip to SoCal for Christmas and it performed like new. If you are looking for a good shop, these guys will treat you and your vehicle right.

I was very lucky to find them I had been to many garages with my problem big names and small and never got the such a in depth diagnosis and taken right out to the garage and shown by the mechanic the problem and what would be done which was carried out to the letter of the estimate and notified of additional problems in a timely manor which put me in my car on time!Well worth the money spent and everyone there was helpful and very informative and knowledgeable about what they do.Its so nice to find people that care about the job they do and the people they do it for.Im older and been around, shops like this one are few and far between!THANKS AGAIN

I took in a Mazda 3 that seemingly needed a transmission rebuild. Unfortunately, there were more problems than that. All in all, it did take longer than anyone would want (three weeks), because of so much troubleshooting being necessary.Montana was very communicative, gave regular updates, and was very helpful.

Transmission rebuild they did it a good job

My car was strangely wedge between the curb unable to free itself. Out of options I was ready to give up. I then see these gentlemen Mike & Montana from across the parking lot coming out of their shop. They were able to successfully free my vehicle and was back on the road again. I am grateful to met these good people today.

I am on a fixed income as I am retired. My clutch went out on my Ford Explorer. I had them evaluate the problem. Montana the manager was wonderful he gave me a very good price to repair my car. And he stuck to it even after they discovered another issue with replacing the clutch they fixed that too at their expense. It has been two months and my Explorer seems to be running just fine. I feel really good about my experience with them they were honest and didnt try to jerk me around because I am a woman and a senior at that.

It is tough to find a good shop in the Seattle area, so I am glad I found this shop online. They had great reviews so I decided to give them a shot, it was evident as soon as I got there. Great customer service... Issues were diagnosed quickly and they let you know various options before getting your transmission fixed. I even received pictures of my damaged parts which is unheard of. They communicated very well with me and my quote price never changed. I will definitely be a repeat customer bc they gained my trust. Positive comment for the companyI took my 2015 Chevrolet Suburban to this shop for transmission issues. And I was suggested by their customer service specialist saying rebuild would be a better option and cost effective for my financial situation. Based on his suggestion, I decided to go for Rebuild rather than changing new transmission. Then after, I agree to pay him $3200 After they finish the job which includes parts, labor and government taxes. They finished the entire job with in two days as they promised and they coIlected the total amount of $3200 on hand. Ones I had the vehicle and warranty paper for 24,000 miles...Then after the payment made l left the shop by thanking them. After few thousands of miles, I noticed the same problems on the transmission ( delay of gear shifting on reverse and forward acceleration ) and showed new problems of vibration of fuel and break pedals which were related or linked with the transmission. After I notice those problems I took the vehicle to Chevy dealership for diagnosis and After they have done diagnosis on the vehicle, I was told it has transmission issues and not to drive the vehicle while the problem has been fixed or addressed. Because of there decision was it will lead mechanical problems and will cause road safety issues. Meanwhile, it will also cause health issues on the driver due to mechanical and vibration of the pedals.Then after, I called xpress Transmission customer service and I told them my vehicle has transmission issues which needs immediate attention. Their Customer service specialist at xpress Transmission politely told me to bring the vehicle and they will fix it for no cost based on the warranty that I was given. On Tuesday, I took the vehicle back to them and Im hoping to get it back soon. I hope the problem will never come back again.Furthermore, the vibration on the pedals that the vehicle had after they rebuild caused nerve problem on my right leg. Due to this problem I saw three different doctors and one nerologist. I had also MRI screening on my legs and entire body. The good thing the MRI screening showed no nerve problems except inflammation of few nerves on my right leg. I was also told not to drive this vehicle until it will be fixed.Xpress transmission Customer service is one of the best in Seattle. And Im confident enough to say they will fix and address my problems with in few days. I know that they have the best transmission expertise in the company history. This transmission problem might be there first problem and I hope they will learn something from their past mistake. Everyone is created to make mistakes and learn from it. I will never regret to go back and see them for future. I personally, suggest people to go and fix their transmission issues with XPRESS Transmission.Thank You for reading

You wont find a more honest person than Montana. We were told we needed a full transmission rebuild priced at $5000 from a shop in Redmond. We went to Montana at transmission xpress for a second opinion, and it turned out to be a small plastic covering that cost less than $500!! I HIGHLY recommend this shop for any work you might need on your car. Burien is a drive for us, but it was 100% worth it. Dont hesitate to call them up. I wont even bother going elsewhere next time.

My car was at the dealership because it was having problems. The dealership was acting like it was going to be really hard and expensive to troubleshoot the problem. I called Transmission Xpress and a tow truck was at the dealership to get my car 30 minutes flat. It took 20 minutes to locate the problem, and a part that was less than $15.00 to fix it. My car was driving the same day.The service I received has insured I will return for any future needs.

Sometimes things go according to plan sometimes they dont. I had my transmission rebuilt here in April of 2014. A couple of months after the rebuild my car started to have transmission problems shifting between first and second. It would rev up and slip into neutral for no reason and then slam into gear. The problem was intermittent and would only happen once or twice a day. I took the car back into the shop and the shop couldnt make it do the same thing and kept saying we cant figure out why this is happening. Frustrated as I was I kept bringing the car back and they rebuilt my transmission again but the problem persisted. Finally they did it a third time and traced the problem to a bad seal. I am no transmission expert and do not know why they couldnt diagnose the problem but I will give them credit as they did stand behind their work and agree to keep working on it without charge until the problem was fixed. As of today we are driving our car and the problem has not reoccurred.

Get an estimate somewhere else, then.... Come to these Guys! You Will Have No Regrets! My transmission on my Saturn SL2 started leaking really bad. Took it to a local garage and they said it was the front pump seal and quoted $1500 to repair it. I called around to several places locally finding similar prices. I then found the website for TransmissionXpress, called and spoke with Robert who was very personable. You could tell immediately he was genuinely interested in helping you out. We discussed options and for accomplishing the same work I discussed with local garages they only quoted $500. After several more conversations they had my business. Once they got into the actual work they discovered a hole in the front transmission housing that required a replacement housing. They called me, we negotiated and they were very fair on pricing. I negotiated some additional work I wanted done since the car was being dismantled making the work easy to do for them and they were able to do it all. Nice job! Car runs great and they offered to pay for half the towing since I live in Shoreline and they are in Burien. Keep up the great work!
