Extremely friendly and professional. Ive had two cars tinted here. A small bubble appeared in my drivers window 1 year after the inital tint. Owner fixed for free in one hour. Two years later my windows still look great! Highly recommend this company for car windows tinting.

Had my tints done at MidCo tinting. Scott did a great job, a year later, the window tints are all in tact and no bubble. I also had to get one of the window tints done because a body shop damaged my quarter side window and had to get the whole unit replaced. Called Scott, told him I needed a window returned cause of the body shop. Even asked Scott how much it would cost, didn’t say anything and booked me the next day. He said it was free and he is only trying to take care of his customers. I gave him a tip and insisted that there was no need! Job well done!

Mr Scott @ Midco told me that if I can get there in less then 30min, which was before his next appointment, he would squeeze me in. Not only did Mr Scott squeeze me in, but gave me an AMAZING DISCOUNT (due to not being able to go darker than the legal limit). If you want a great job on your tints then I recommend this place, the only downfall is that he is always booked so be ready to wait two to three weeks for an appointment, unless someone cancels... I definitely recommed it!

No 20% tints go elsewhere unless you want him to overcharge you n put whatever tint he has or wants to put on...

He took his time to fully inform me of the local law as well as the pros and cons of tints and offered his expert advice on how dark I should go. He went above and beyond the call of duty and got the job done in about 2 hours! Amazing service I highly recommend it.

Left bubbles on my windows paid almost $200. Called to let them know, they said It must’ve been something I did. I Didn’t want to waste my time with them anymore so I took my car somewhere else. If I could post the pictures I would. Very rude and unprofessional

I been searching on Google for Tinting Shop, and came across Midco Tinting. So, after reading through the reviews I decide to call and spoke with Scott. He schedule me appointment for the next day in the morning. I came in and I told him wanted my car tinting but not super dark though just medium. He informed me of the Illinois laws and legal tint measurement, and since my car interior was light he recommend good tint. Overall after he finished my car, I was like wow because the car looks great and did excellent job. My car 2014 Ford Focus Se, well had factory tinting on it which Scott use this device and show me how the cops will use it to see how much tint the windows are. They have excellent communication and everyone there are friendly. He has best tinting materials and I recommend anyone to go to Midco Tinting, reasonable price and winter is best time to go. Thanks again to Scott for his excellent work and communication! Im happy with my tinting.

Refused to tint my front windows at 20% said its too dark and wont do it, left dirty windows and scratches on the tint, not the same sarvice as it used to be

I know nothing about tints I only knew how I wanted my car to look, I had been looking online for places and reading reviews and decided to call Midco for a quote. Once I called and spoke with Scott I knew instantly Id be doing business with him.Of course I had a million questions and he was so patient and so kind. He informed me of the Illinois laws and legal tint measurement, I explained that my car was a luxury sedan and I wanted a light tint rather than a heavier sporty tint and not only did he guarantee my satisfaction but he assures his work with a lifetime warranty (that will not be needed!).He explained early on that because the weather was colder it would take an extra hour to dry and that any imperfections would disappear within days. When I picked my car up I was literally in awe! There were no visible bubbles, scratches or anything. The level of detail is impressive, he covered all of the windows completely. The tint was the perfect shade and completely transformed the look of my vehicle. He is highly recommended and not only will I refer him to others but all of my future vehicles will be done by him as well.The price is extremely reasonable and actually cheaper during colder/winter months. Go to Midco for tinting, u will not be disappointed!

For the last 28 years Midco has done all of our vehicles. We drive from the Elgin area to have them do the work because of the quality of the work. I have never had to bring a car back for tint issues because of the way they do the job and the quality of the product they sell. Not only do they provide great products and service but the price is right. If you want it done the first time see Scott he is your man!

Had 2 vehicles tinted by Midco. A truck about 2 years ago and a sedan just recently. Great scheduling of appointments. No issues still to this day with the work done on the truck. More than professional service. Answers any and all questions. No flaws in workmanship. Drove from 50 miles away for this exceptional quality work. Prices are the cheapest I was quoted as well. Highly recommended.

My tint was peeling on my drivers side window and he recommended I redo both of the front windows. Im glad he insisted on it because the two front windows wouldnt have matched. It was competitively priced and very well done. I was in and out in an hour. Will go to him again. High quality work.

This is the only person that is going to tint any of my cars for as long as he’s still doing it. I want a one and done tint that is going to last for decades and not peel - that’s what you get here. The only downside is most times you have to wait weeks for an appointment but I just suck it up and wait.

All I can say is wow. This is definitely the place to go for your tinting. I have had a few cars tinted at different locations before and let me tell you Scotts work hands down is the best work I have ever seen. This will be my 4th car that Scott will be doing because of the excellent work he does. Not only is the work Scott does amazing but the quality of film he uses for the windows. Its top quality not like other shops that use cheap material so they can make the most off their customer, and later down the road the windows fade and turn purple. He also does all the work himself not like some shops that pay someone that works out of a garage to come and do a horrible job installing your tints. He is usually booked up and might have to wait a few days but well worth the wait. Look no further and call Midco you will not be disappointed!!

You wont find any cheaper shop then Scotts. He charged me $200, car was ready in 2h and even he told me that if Ill have any problems with my tints he will be more then happy to fix it. He did amazing job, I checked for bubbles and I didnt find any.

I would never trust this place. The workers are shady and admittedly did illegal tints for police officers on personal use vehicles. Thats a form of prejudice to only supply to a certain person. That is so illegal in itself. I have alot of contacts in law enforcement and I will be contacting them also people at the BBB to make sure this business is not accredited. my wife works for review sites as well as surveying businesses to insure they are clean and well managed as well as respectful and legitimate. She will also be working to make sure this business is shut down.

Scott did my tint on a 2010 corolla xrs he explain to me all of the state laws and how he help pass these laws to make it legal, of course he did warn about Chicago not following these laws now I have a 2014 camry which I will be making a appointment to have this car done. He does excellent work.

I have been taking my cars to scott for several years. He does excellent work and whoever says otherwise is wrong. Ive had about 3 or 4 cars done by scott and its always done perfect. You may pay a few dollars more but it is definately worth it.

I own a white toyota avalon i had in mind black tints for my ride but he suggested brown tints because of the leather color interior, and oh man he was right im so glad i listen to him. now everytime im walking away from my car i turn like 3 times just to see how beautiful my car looks.....a beautiful job.....Thanks scott !!!

I couldnt be happier with my decision to have tinted my car at Midco Tinting. Before even initially taking my car in, I spoke with Scott the owner who is highly knowledagble about car window tinting (legal limits etc.). He really took his time politley answering all my questions and concerns, and by that time I had already knew that I wanted to have him work on my car. My appointment with him was at 3pm and he immediately started working on my car and told me it would take about 3-3 1/2 hrs, and he was spot on, actually it was even done 20 mins earlier. When I came to pick my car up, it was exactly what I wanted and asked for and it was even better than I had expected, not to mention the great deal he gave me! I will definitley be sending freinds and family to Midco Tinting because of the great experience I had. Thank you Scott!
