Very easy to find as they have a storefront board above the entrance. Inside, everything is well organised and everybody works like a well oiled machine. Persons that work there are extremely helpful and efficient. Prices are reasonable for their products and services and there is street parking outside. Pro8mm also have a good turn around time for film scans and processing. The staff is very friendly and always welcoming. Overall, I’ve had a really good experience. Highly recommended.

There are almost no film labs in California anymore, so Im very glad this place exists. I always come here with my super 8 and 16mm needs, and they are always fast, helpful and do a great job handling my film. Come here if youre a filmmaker or just need their services.

I sent my film on a Monday (the 12th), and they received Wednesday (the 14th). I was told turn around time was around 5 days and I would have my file sent over email next Wednesday (the 21st). That timeframe was perfect, as I needed it by Thursday. However, I didnt receive anything until I called on the next Tuesday (the 27th), so I didnt get my video on time. The film itself is fine but they lied to me on the timeframe. If they wouldve been truthful I couldve looked elsewhere. I wouldnt recommend.

This company destroyed 2 of our 3 Super-8 wedding tapes. They then failed to explain or apologise for a number of days after it happened. I hate to give small independent businesses negative reviews but, though we have now been given a refund, the irreplacable videos of our wedding day are lost forever.I would strongly advise looking for another company to develop your film.

Probably the best consumer-oriented 8mm specialists in the United States. Ultra high quality 4k log scans. Very flexible staff and services. Shipped my wedding film directly from South Korea. They handled it with utmost sensitivity. Highest recommendation. There is nothing like 8mm in existence. It is so special, digital is so lifeless.

I paid for my film to be developed and I cannot access digital file of film and have emailed numerous times for customer service and have not received a single response. Paying money for no service sucks

The people there are extremely nice in fact some of the nicest people I have ever dealt with over the phone when ordering and asking questions. The process is fast and inexpensive in comparison to other film processing companies. Overall superb!!!

This place is so amazing!! Came here to buy my super8 film for my cinematography class!! I shot my film over the weekend and was so nervous as the whole time I couldnt see the picture. My camera was old and used and probably had a bad mirror. I used what I knew about photography to focus every shot even tho I could barely see anything. Pro8 also developed my film. I even found out they can do an image check so I asked them to do that. They said I had images on everything I just had no idea how good. I am so pleased and stunned I cant believe it!! Ronda even came to my class and they gave a presentation. It was so great!! Man it might be a while before I shoot more but seeing the grain on the film I just love the way it looks so amazing!! I can see how a film maker could easily be addicted to this place!! Im pretty sure Ill be coming by here again being in the la area. If say this is a hidden gem of a film spot in la!!

I recently received a lot of random super 8 cartridges second hand. In the lot were some Kodak Vision3 cartridges, and some Pro8mm cartridges that I found already had processing pre-paid. I had a company here in Mass process the Vision3, and Pro8mm process their stock. The Massachusetts company took about 2 weeks to process the film, and were bad with communication. I shipped the Pro8mm stock via USPS fist class mail from NH to CA and it took about 3 days to arrive their. They turned it around in a day, called me to confirm everything, and they were super helpful. I will personally vouch for the quality of this company, I was very pleased with their service. I plan to shoot my wedding using Super 8 and will be purchasing ALL my stock from Pro8mm from now on.
