I am a Realtor representing buyers on a home in Burbank. As most people know, the seller typically chooses the escrow company and as the agent working for the buyers sometimes we have not ever worked with certain escrow companies. I had not met or worked with Marcia before this. Most home sales come with their own set of challenges as did this one. The lender my buyers chose was very hard to reach and when she did speak to both escrow and myself, she was not upfront with anyone about what was going on. Unfortunately, this puts the buyers in a very bad situation as they need to rely on the lender to fulfill a lot of the contractual obligations that are in the purchase contract. A buyers deposit is at risk when they dont follow the contract even if it is on the lender. Every time I called Marcia and asked her to update me on where things were with the loan, she was very calm and tried hard each time to get information (even though the lender was not responsive most of the time.) Typically it is on me, the Realtor to get updates on the loan however the first time I called the lender her response to me was that it was none of my business. This left Marcia to step in and try to get answers each time which was not easy. Marcia was very professional, ver calm and very helpful and I cant say enough good things about her. Ive been in the business for 9 years now and have never written a review for another escrow company (not that there arent others that dont deserve it) but I felt she needed praise.

As first-time homebuyers, the entire purchase process was pretty new to us. On top of that, the Southern California closing process is quite different from what I saw my parents doing back in the Midwest. Everyone at Escrows Inc made a very complex process as simple as possible, and they were very responsive and helpful along the way. I would definitely use them in the future and would recommend them.
