One of the finest places to see the entire animation family in one spot. CTN Animation Expo brings together artists from across the globe to share ideas and projects, and gives a much needed platform for artists to showcase their work to potential directors and recruiters. I have personally been very lucky to be a part of CTN and to be able to meet, share and learn from such talented artists every year at the event! :)

The Creative Talent Network has been such a vital resource for me. They are open to all kinds of artists, and really encourage good networking. I have gotten so many jobs (and made so many friends) though CTN. They host many workshops, classes, and special events. CTN Expo and Road Trip are among my favorite conventions for the way they bring people together. I am so grateful to CTN for helping me find my place in the LA art community.

We have been working with CTN for about a year now and have LOVED working with and for this company. CTN is such a wonderful collaborative space for anyone who is in or interested in the animation industry. Its a large network of animators of all experience levels and gives students a really valuable one-on-one experience with their mentors, teachers, and animation idols.

I absolutely love CTN. Tina truly goes above and beyond to provide an experience for artists of all kinds with an unforgettable experience. Seeing first hand the hard work and dedication that goes into every project Is magical and truly admirable. There is always an extra effort that goes into making sure that everyone who is a part of the CTN family, as well as newcomers are always treated with respect, and CTN love. Being a part of the CTN family has been, and continues to be such an amazing experience. Being able to witness so many people walk in the door, and leave with multiple opportunities has been amazing! Thank you CTN, and Tina for such an amazing experience with The Creative Talent Network, and the amazing talented individuals that are a part of the community.

Great network to meet a variety of artists that work or have worked in the animation industry. Go to their conventions, attend the seminars to learn directly from industry professionals. Participate in their life drawing classes and meet others that are making their way into this profession.

We have been part of the CTN team for the past 9 years and it has been a blast. Tina Price works tirelessly to give as much opportunity to the artist as possible. The workshops at the gallery are so inclusive and personal, and of course the CTN expo is top notch. This organization was built to give the artists an opportunity to be seen for the brilliance that they bring to entertainment industry, and it has done just that. CTN has provided a place where pros can come together to build something new, emerging artists can be recognized for their fresh perspective, and students can gain access to the best in the business. There is no other animation event like this, and I am proud to be part of it.

I was so excited about attending this event! My anticipation built for five years, during which time I was living all the way on the other side of the country in Virginia. I was majoring in animation, and no other event was more talked about amongst students than the CTN Animation eXpo. Every student saw the expo as THE biggest place to explore industry opportunities and meet animation legends. My university even opened donations each year to send a group of students to California just to attend. After graduating from college, I was blessed with the opportunity to move to California. The number one thing on my list was to attend the eXpo and become a member of the Creative Talent Network. I applied online for membership and waited on pins and needles. After all, membership is juried and highly exclusive for artists. Eventually, Tina Price, the Founder of CTN, reached out to me via email and not only offered me a membership - but employment within the company! I was elated! I called everyone in my family back in Virginia to tell them the great news! I was determined to give it my all! But, once my employment began, I was left sorely disappointed.I found it odd that there were so many reviews, comments, and even entire videos online dedicated to illuminating various attendee, employee, and volunteer grievances about CTN. I figured since CTN was such a large company; everyone couldnt be pleased and initially dismissed these complaints.I was wrong. Every grievance was legitimate.CTN is a large company, but its core staff is small. This is because the turnover rate is astronomically high, and worker morale is devastatingly low.As an employee and expo attendee, I experienced the following:I was told that I would be able to explore the eXpo when I wasnt working. In reality, I worked 18 hour days each day of the event and never received payment until weeks later. I even won the lottery to go on the Disney studio tour, but I was forbidden to attend.Everything is unorganized - the eXpo and company in general. No one gets paid on time and promises are never followed through on.The biggest disappointment, however, was the way I and others were treated. Founder and CEO Tina Price was condescending, controlling, and had an unpleasant general temperament. Security cameras installed in the art gallery owned by the company were used to creepily spy on employees, and our payments were always late. It was heartbreaking. The websites were also a major issue for the convention and other arms of the company. They are barely functional, not user-friendly, have dated appearances, and there are far too many of them. After many eXpo 2017 attendees complained about numerous technical issues, I offered to build an updated unified site. I brought this up to Tina during a team meeting, and I was snapped at and stifled in front of everyone.Tina Price is a Disney Animation alumni, and I had great respect for her because of this. But I thought Mr. Disney once said, Keep moving forward. This apparently didnt resonate with the CTN Founder, who is fiercely defensive of things that may be familiar to her but do not work.More and more people are beginning to speak out regarding the horrid way they were treated and/or how poorly business arrangements were handled. And more people are flocking to alternative conventions. I felt it would be wrong not to speak out as well.To summarize: The convention and company are great ideas, but their execution is harmed in many ways by the poor decisions and disposition of CTNs founder.Even so, I am thankful for the opportunity I was given and everyone else I worked with was wonderful. I made some genuine lifelong friends. However, much like a body cannot function without a head, all of the flaws infecting CTN stem from ITS head.EDIT: Beware of the false positive reviews. Half of the reviews are false posts made by CTN employees. The founder made these poor people post text (likely written by her) under their names as damage control. The employees had to comply to keep their jobs.
