First let me say that Chris is THEEEE BEST auto mechanic I have ever come across in my 77 years, from California (where hes from) to N.Y. (where I was originally from). On my way from Texas to Nevada, my windshield wiper fluid wouldnt work. I went thru heavy fog (almost 50 miles in Texas), snow, ice, sandstone and sandstone mud in N.M. I know, why didnt I stop. Because I didnt want to stop just anywhere and where I was, wasnt near anyplace that I thought would be helpful without being ripped off and have to spend who knows how much time there.Anyway, I did some research on the problem when I was in Laughlin, NV and then I researched where I would take my car to be fixed. I checked out a few places and wasnt impressed. Then I found Chris and all of his reviews were glowing. So I decided to take a chance with Chris. When I called just before 10:00 am and spoke to Chris, I felt like Ive known him forever. Hes the nicest guy and told me to bring the car in and hed check it out. I had a little problem finding his place, only because you cant see the number address and the sign on the building hadnt been changed (long story, like this isnt). I left the car on the street and as I walked up to the office, he greeted me outside and told me to bring the car over or he could get someone to bring the car over. He immediately started to check the car out (I had explaned earlier what the problem was and he was very empathetic). He did everything youre supposed to do to check out this probIem (I know as I checked it out online before I came to him).Chris explained everything to me and told me it was my windshield wiper fluid pump and needed to be replaced. He gave me a quote and sent me inside to see THE BOSS, Jane I think her name was and he said she would help pass the time talking to me. (something to that effect). She gave me a quote (same as Chris said, which was very fair) and said it would take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours, as they needed to get the part and the time it would take to fix the problem. Now this is when he had 4 cars in 4 bays being worked on and there were other cars on the lot. Well Jane has a unique life story and shes very interesting. Youll have to take your car to Precision Auto Repair to hear her story and maybe shell be singing in a club that night.Between Chris and Jane I felt that I was being taken of and I was out around 11:50 am. I checked to make sure the fluid was working and it has worked ever since.So, lastly If you live a lot closer than I do, I suggest you take your car to see Chris (and Jane), if you need any repair for any one of your vehicles. I know that if I am in the area, that I will take the time to go see them and maybe have a beer and a song with them.If you read all of this, God bless you and stay safe.P.S. They also give you a great warranty.

In my search throughout the BHC region for a trustworthy mechanic, most of them seemed too expensive or somewhat unknowledgable (or just too busy). But Precision Auto Repair made time to work on my car and also provided helpful advice about other unrelated repairs I needed without pressuring me to spend more. They were also friendly and polite in the midst of an obviously busy day. Highly recommended!
