Homes look nice but are cheap. Dead patches of grass were in my yard before I moved in. Stay away from Tamra Wade and their builders. Cheap labor makes for low quality work.

Although this review may be a little while after my experience, I thought it was important to write it nonetheless This was the absolute worst home buying experience that I have experienced. The realtor (builder representative from this company) that worked with us was a complete nightmare. She lied to us over and over again to cover up her lack of follow through. She lied about options that were available, neglected to follow through with our design choices and when we asked about it, she says its too late to make the changes. So we ended up being stuck with a house that does not have our choices in it because of an incompetent builder representative from this company. If you see this company listed for a home that you are interested in buying or heaven forbid a new construction home...RUN!!!

This is an amazing home construction company to work with. They go above and beyond in making sure that the project is done right and is affordable. I am so grateful for your work on our properties.

Extremely disappointed with this company, they had me sign a contract in a new construction community, (The Grove at Rosebud) lot 61, I wired $4000 in earnest money plus my bank charged me a wire transfer fee, then at the last minute they cancelled the contract and said they are making the property a rental community instead. I have yet to receive my earnest money back, I would not recommend this company to anyone. You can’t play with ppl’s lives like this, I feel so disrespected and I want my money back!!!! I work hard for my money and you have no right to hold on to it!

The agents working onsite was not responsive and often times did not provide communication until it was too late. Many of the glowing reviews here are several years old. Perhaps there has been a change in the quality of agents representing this team.

If I could give negative stars I would. I purchased a new construction in a brand new neighborhood(we were the 11th house to purchase out of 38). We made it very VERY clear to the agent how we wanted a large useable backyard and planned to install and in ground pool in the very near future. We asked as many questions as we possibly could to ensure where we could place a fence, where the builder would allow a pool etc. we were ensured by their realtor that this was the perfect lot for us. Well as it turns out now that we have closed on our home and are essentially stuck , not only do we barely have a yard base on the way they turn our house (realtor was well aware this was going to happen) the HOA doesn’t allow us to place anything in 1/3 of our backyard bc we are on a corner lot AND now we are being told by the county that a pool won’t ever be approved on this lot. We were lied to on a regular basis by this agent I feel just to get a sell. I will NEVER use nor trust an agent from this company.

Angel was extremely Professional, timely and sweet. Provided guidance every step of the way to ensure we got the home we desired. Without question she did not miss a beat. After reading some of the reviews I was in shock!!!; because the experience that I had with them was and still is the best!!!! I live at Laurel Landings in Buford Ga.Lee and Shannon are a God sent; they didnt disappear after the sale , if I need anything they are always very helpful and willing to help. Going through the process of buying ; they went over board to make the process very pleasant and answered all of our questions. they are still that way. I would buy from them again and will encourage anyone I come in contact with to do the same...

Tamra Wade & Kelly Peterson are consummate professionals. I highly recommend them should you be selling or buying a home. Personally, I have used them to sell AND buy a home. On both occasions, they were extremely knowledgeable, ethical, friendly, supportive, and attentive to my wants and needs. I undoubtedly had two professional advocates in my corner. Finally, while looking for my current home they were extremely patient and only showed me the types of homes I was looking for; never did they try to push another home on me or push their own agendas. It was all about me and what I wanted for my family. Should I need realtors in the future then Tamra Wade & partners will be the choice. A+ rating.....

Tamra Wade works with Expo Homes. I would not buy a home from either of these businesses. The builder for Expo Homes through a tantrum and cancelled my contract three days before closing because I expected that he would fix a toilet that didnt meet code. My contract said he had to build the home to code and his answer to that was to cancel the contract. Tamra Wades realtors knew he was going to cancel the contract before my final inspection was completed which they had been notified would be happening. They neglected to let me know the contract would be cancelled and let me pay another couple hundred dollars on an inspection of a home they had no intent on selling to me. They are not ethical people, there is no integrity in how they conduct their business. BUYER BEWARE!!

Yargo Township NEW homes-work with Ward and Gina. Ward was easy to work, new things about building a home & thought I was meticulous. Gina seemed to want us to accept less than quality in a new home and doesnt seem to know much about construction. Thought we should accept a Repaired Scratch floor. Really? Paid extra for that NEW floor. Through the experience I have decided I dont like working with Realtors as the go between me the buyer and the contractor. Realtors arent experienced in home construction. But then again, I wouldnt buy an Expo Home either. Expo Home cancelled contract and gave us our money back. Thank you.

Just started out looking for homes and Im very impressed with what I see at Yargo Township! The agent on site was so helpful and cared about what I wanted!

Weve heard horror stories about how stressful building a new home can be so we were dreading the process. However, from the start, Dominique and Stacey, the representatives from Tamra Wade at Tipton Homes in Sterling on the Lake, were very knowledgeable and helpful. They led us through the process and made choosing flooring, colors, fixtures, countertops, etc., an absolute breeze. They were very patient with us and answered any questions. Similarly, we could call either of them any time and they got matters settled. They did a very thorough job and were a joy to work with. We looked at several homes in several communities before buying a Tipton home and we are very happy that we chose Tipton and Sterling on the Lake.We had several walkthroughs/meetings with Matt. He explained each step as we went along. The quality of the home, the energy efficient features, wiring all the rooms for cable as well as over the fireplace in family room and on the screened porch, the open concept, huge island in the kitchen, were just some of the many reasons we chose Tipton. We absolutely love the screened porch with the outdoor fireplace and pre-wiring for outdoor TV. Matt gave us an estimated time when house would be completed and we only had to delay one week because of rainy weather. We plan for this home to be our forever home, but should that change, we would use Tipton Builders and Tamra Wade Real Estate again. They are the best!!Rita Mitchell and Lyn Marsh01/04/2019

You are a non-trust company!! You guys show nice things on “model homes” then later change it for cheap stuff and sign contract with general statements so you can use on your side then state that is “what the contract states”… so is a win-to-win situation for you. Customers don’t get the earnest money back (at least me until now). You alleging “The buyer was in breach of contract” when really what I want is to rescind the contract alleging Misrepresentation and Fraud… because in other words this is fraud!... on the top of this… your employees (Shannon Wilmot and Britney Landrey) don’t treat customer well as every customer deserve… I will never recommend this company and I will never recommend the builder that works with you “Southern Heritage Homes”… this is new builder and is already doing the things wrong… I feel bad for the people that already contract with you; I can’t imagine how the warranty will be covered for that people!
