The kids are taught discipline, respect for self and others, and martial arts. A great life choice for parents to improve the character of their child.

After enrolling my son (5yr old) his school behavior improved almost immediately (after 2-3 days). Most of his bad behavior is impulse control - which I believe is helped greatly through how Legacy MMA functions and operates.Being enrolled in a team sport is one thing, but this is a different experience with different (might I say complementary) lessons learned.There are no screens (TV, tablet, phone, laptop, etc). My son more easily goes to bed at night having used more of his boundless energy.Some kids need to improve behavior and they need to learn through the experience of doing (ever taken the quiz on what type of learner your are? see (read), hear (listen), do). Kids see when others make mistakes and there is an immediate correction - and not some wimpy bad color. Acting out from what theyre instructed results in a behavior correction - being called out, being separated (in the same room), and having to do some work - in a very respectful environment. I have seen this work VERY well. If anyone acts inappropriate to anothers behavior correction, theyre behavior is corrected too - also in a respectful and tasteful way.

You will learn many disciplines including honesty, integritity and loyalty only to mention a few in all areas of your life. My son took martial arts with Dustin for several years. He was a junior black belt at the age of 8 ,world champion at 10-11,adult black belt at 12 and a first degree black belt at the age of 15. I would highly recommend Legacy MMA Club to anyone that is interested whether it be a child or an adult.
