I can not even begin to explain how happy we were to have gone with Stefan as a photographer. Planning our wedding he took the time to get to know us and really get a good sense of what we were looking for. We had to make some unforeseen changes before the wedding and he was very flexible in working with us. The day of our the wedding he was prompt and professional. My family loved interacting with him, and it felt like he was everywhere at once. The evening of the wedding he gave us a small preview of some photos he had taken earlier and it was the best surprise! His work is incredible. The still photos were all good, I would be hard pressed to find a shot I didn’t like. The short video he put together brought me to tears. I have received nothing but compliments on all of it. Hiring him was one of the best decisions I made in planning my wedding, and I feel we were lucky to have him. I would recommend him very highly to anyone looking for a wedding, engagement, or any sort of event photographer.

Incredibly professional and very quick moving. Stefan was able to capture photos of every key moment, and gather video clips for our wedding video with no assistance. The photos are very creative and we were blown away by the video he put together. He was very nice to talk with during the wedding reception. Worth every penny, we would highly recommend!

Stefan was perfect and professional from start to finish. He truly wanted to get to know us and who we are as a couple. Both Stefan and his associate, Denny, are passionate about capturing every detail and do it in such a beautiful way. My husband and I felt completely comfortable and had absolutely no issues while working with him. Stefan got our photos back to us in less than two weeks and they turned out GORGEOUS. Our wedding photos turned out beautifully and we enjoyed working with Stefan. We have had countless compliments on our photos since we have received them. He even gave us 20 pictures as a sneak preview on the day of our wedding(as a bride, that made my day)!

I cant say enough good things about Stefan. Our wedding was in November in upstate NY. You would have no idea nearly everything outside was dead! Stefan has such a great eye for composition; all of our pictures are incredibly vibrant and extremely thoughtful! Candids and posed pictures alike, everything is laid out wonderfully and creatively. We chose the most basic package (1shooter, 9hrs, $2100) and we have more lovely pictures on our hands than we know what to do with! We were sent a link to an online gallery where we can easily download a high quality version of any picture we want, so easy and simple to print and share with others! Stefan was also a huge pleasure to work with, he made everything easy, stress-free, and it was an honor to work with him!

Unfortunately we never received any services from Stefan. His work looks incredible however his customer service skills are VERY poor. We were reflecting on whether we should write a review for our experience and thought it would be beneficial to future potential clients to understand the kind of customer service you may receive.Sadly, our wedding was cancelled due to Covid 19 restrictions. This was a mandated state order, meaning even if we wanted to have a wedding, we couldn’t and Stefan would be unable to perform his duties regardless. We completely understood where the vendors stood and this was a hard time. Instead of Stefan being understanding that we lost our most important day, he instead accused of us wanting him to go out of business because we asked if we could have a refund (almost $2000 for no services) instead explaining it politely or even offering us a percentage back - he wasn’t willing to refund anything, who knew if we could even utilize $2000 worth of services at this time. We told him we didn’t even know if we could have a wedding at this point (in April, how could we have rescheduled anything). We were the first wedding he had to cancel, and he was so rude. He said word for word “a virus doesn’t cancel your contract.” Yes that maybe so, but if you wanted to keep us as clients, customer service would go a long way. We have several emails of Stefan being inconsiderate and rude about the loss of our whole wedding.We ended up only receiving half our deposit and Stefan pocketed almost $900 for giving us nothing but grief (only after disputing with our CC), so even if we did plan a wedding we wouldn’t want someone like him capturing the day - someone who couldn’t even understand the severity of us losing our wedding and was extremely rude to us. We did not plan this pandemic, I’m sure no one saw this coming. I wouldn’t wish this upon any couple getting married OR any vendors, but every single one of our vendors was kind and understanding we lost the most important day of our life, and Stefan was not.I would recommend if you work with Stefan, ask for him to add a force majeure clause in the contract, in the event there’s another shutdown so you can avoid his arrogance and loss of money.

Stefan and Kai did the video for our wedding, and they were patient, diligent, and kind, and we truly appreciate that. They worked very hard to get all the best shots, and also listened to our requests when filming. Stefan is excellent at communication, and is always quick to respond to any questions. We got married in Rochester, and they were willing to travel. They also used a drone, which captured some amazing shots. The videos are breathtaking and heartwarming, and they tell a story. I got many compliments from family and friends, saying how unbelievable the video was, and how it made them cry all over again. It did the same for me : ) as if I were reliving my wedding day. Thank you!

Stefan was great to work with. I scheduled a small portrait session with him, where he was very friendly, professional, and it was obvious he knew what he was doing. The portraits turned out great and he delivered them in a timely manner. I was nervous about working with a professional photographer for the first time, but Im glad that I found Stefan and I would definitely work with him again on a variety of photography projects.

Knowing I wanted a true artist as our wedding photographer, we searched online for local talent. My now wife found Stefan Ludwigs page and I knew he was it. As I also consider myself an artist; I pay attention to detail, angles, lighting, etc. Stefan has a great eye and utilizes the light, angles, and his array of cameras and lenses to capture the moments. Had Stefan for our wedding videography and it came out fantastic. He is very creative, easy to contact and our end videos came out spectacular.

Stefan did an amazing job at our wedding. He made the whole experience stress free and fun. We booked Stefan about a year in advance and he remained in contact with us throughout the year and answered any questions we had.
