Great shop! My husband forgot his quick release plate for his tripod while packing for a trip. I called to see if they had one and unfortunately they did not but the gentleman on the phone said to stop in and they could see if something else that would fit.We made the quick detour and my husband was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes. They found one that would work but it wobbled a little. The guy grabbed something and made a shim to hold it tight. Works perfectly! Great costumer service!

I was in the shop Aug 1st. I was looking for a remote clicker for my Canon. I was greeted by Mark the manager. He had what I needed. Excellent service. I would recommend this place. Only camera shop around. Plus it was open on a Sunday.

Honestly I dont even know where to begin. Dropped my camera off in late February, didnt receive it back until JUNE. Yes you read that correctly. After multiple multiple phone calls wondering where my camera was, feeling more angry every time. I realized I might never get it back. It was bad enough when I called I had to make sure they shipped it out to get it fixed. Did they ship it out before that phone call absolutely not. I couldnt be more disappointed, angry in the only local camera store. Im considering opening my own store just so I can show how a real business runs. A local photographer shouldnt have to go through hoops to get a camera back. Lastly the communication was just down right terrible. I shouldnt have to call to see where my item is at. Highly dont recommend.

Great job with Canadian passport photos. We were able to pick them up in an hour. They know all the specifications the Canadians require. Also got american passport photos taken for our daughter and they were perfect.

Honestly if I could leave this zero stars I would. Every time I come here I seem to have an issue. Even with being the only camera store in Buffalo they still don’t have their act together. Completely unprofessional I will not recommend to my photography hobby friends. Truly disappointed

Delaware Camera is an excellent place to visit if your a new or an expert photographer, their staff is amazing and experts in all things photography. They also have studio space for rent to all photographers just schedule your appointment and their prices are great.I wouldn’t go anywhere else to be honest! I’m so excited they are in Buffalo, NY

If there was a 6 star rating I would give it to them. They went way above and beyond to make sure that I was happy. I received a defective lens (NOT THEIR FAULT!) And they were instant in their responses and resolved the issue in the most professional manner I could imagine. They have gained a lifetime customer.

I love Delaware Camera for developing pictures. It is so easy to upload photos to the website and they print all sizes including 11x14 that most big box or drug stores will not. They are ready quickly at very reasonable prices and everyone is always very pleasant. The pictures are incredible quality even when taken by a cell phone camera. Highly recommend Delaware Camera!

My favorite place to develop film/disposable cameras. it’s really quick and the photos always come out perfect.this was definitely a better choice for me than sending the film out because they usually get photos back to you the same day or close to it and the prices are better than any other place i have gone.

They were very helpful with a camera tripod part we were looking for. Although they didnt have it they told us where we might find it.

I would not recommend this place but if it your only option, it’s ok. i went to get some rolls of 35mm negatives scanned. two of the rolls were scanned upside down, which isn’t too big of a deal. the worst part was that almost every somewhat dark picture was messed up. the light from the scanning machine must have reflected on the film because you can see a white circle in a lot of the dark pictures. i know it’s not the camera because both portrait and landscape picture have them in the same spot. at least it’s a good price. it’s like $3 per roll.

There really isnt any other place I know of in the area to compare. Ive gone there for prints, lenses, and accessories. Theyre helpful with prints, if its not a normal size they can still print it to the size you need. Knowledgeable staff that is willing to offer advice.

The last camera store standing in Buffalo. Generally they are helpful in trying to get you what you need. That being said, they selection is limited and they wont always have what you need. I would recommend trying there before buying online. I took a star off for limited selection.

I had a great experience at Delaware Camera. The salesperson, Derek, was attentive and did a great job balancing his time with me and helping other customers while I was checking the cameras out because the store was busy. Originally I was going to buy the camera I wanted online but decided to stop in and see what they had and what their prices were compared to what I was looking at. Ultimately, I’m really glad I stopped in because I purchased my camera in-store and at a competitive price. Derek was very accommodating and helpful in making sure I got everything I needed.

There are photography classes on offer for the season, lots of cameras and lenses and camera accessories on hand. Definitely a place to visit if you need savvy information on all things photography.

Ok, I had to come in to revise my review after my last experience getting film processed by them. I dropped off 3 rolls of color C41 film to be developed. The first issue to arise was that I had paid for the high resolution scan, but they gave it to me standard. I did call the store and the very kind lady there confirmed it wasnt correct and rescanned them for me, however even this time they missed some photos. The staff were more than willing to correct the issue, and Id give 3.5 stars for that if I could, but I do expect to not have to find their errors. I can say however Im willing to give them another chance and hope my review can change in the future.

Delaware Camera has a great selection of camera gear. Ive purchased cameras, lenses, UV filters, memory cards, film, and prints there and they have all been great! I would never order prints from a website again. At Delaware Camera you know that someone is taking time to make sure your prints are the best quality. Nicole Cooke usually makes my prints and they are always perfect. The service is awesome and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable!

Employees were not really interested in helping me. Told me just to call Nikon and when I asked them about the difference between two lenses all they said was that they are about the same. Custom service was bad. I could have received the same info at Best Buy and paid less for it.

We needed to have a few pics restored of my mom since her passing recently, and we never thought Delaware Camera Mart wd be the place to even inquire of photo restoration. But we got them done a day theyre beautiful. The pics were 64 yrs old. They cut off the heads a bit at first, and we took them back and they redid them while we waited. And didnt charge us....😆

I have been going to Delaware Camera for all of my photography equipment. I have bought EVERYTHING from here, from camera bodies, lenses, flashes, bags, filters, extra batteries, battery grips..pretty much all of my photography needs. Everyone at both stores have been nothing by wonderful to me. I recently had an issue with my lens and Jim sent it out for repair. I had two weddings to shoot and he was so kind to lend me a lens while mine was being sent out. The turn around was quick and simple, thankfully it was still under warranty and I did not have to pay anything out of pocket. Not even for the loaner! I will always come to Delaware Camera for everything.... great customer service, great staff, great products!

I just have to say how incredibly helpful Nicole Cooke and Vicente Rondon have been every time I have come in to Delaware Camera. As an ever learning photographer, even the greenest question they will answer and not make you feel silly. They have given me great advice and I always leave learning something new. Delaware Camera was the only printing business I found that knows how to print to a specific size. I needed a print of a retouched scan I made of an antique radio dial face. The resulting print of the dial face needed to be exact (12.125” X 6.375”). Three other businesses I tried failed that seemingly simple task. Being evolved with graphic design, I explained to all of them that it’s necessary to unlock the “aspect ratio” before entering the dimensions. Delaware Camera knew exactly what I was talking about and did an outstanding quality job. The other businesses didn’t know how to handle my special request therefore failed to get the size correct, costing me time and money.

A good source for Passport and Visa photos. Cheaper than the post office, and even cheaper than Walgreens if you are getting a bunch. I needed them for several visas. Lots of parking, good hours.

The Center for Self Advocacy is an agency run by developmentally disabled people to help developmentally disabled people become integrated into the community.Among many other things they help people learn to use the public transportation in the NFTA region. How to look up Bus and Train schedules, where to pick up the bus, time management Etc.

No Canon equipment? Yikes. Also, some of the staff are very under-informed about Camera equipment. Not much to look at on the sales floor.

Both locations are willing to help with all your camera needs.

Good collections but little price!

I have a Pentax camera that was not working right, so going into a place that sells primarily Nikon and Canon products was something I was unsure they could help me with. Well I was wrong. They were able to diagnose the problem and give me a solution to fix it. So the employees, as you should expect, are very knowledgeable, even with less popular camera brands.

Great service. I came in for a lens cap, and got my lens cleaned up. Person was knowledgeable, and gave me a great diffuser hack for my little flip up flash on my NEX. Really Impressed.

Overpriced. Terrible customer service. Pretty much take you for granted. I would not recommend using their service. Came here for a photo for an application with clear instructions about size, and format. The lady who took my picture didnt even know how to use the camera. I had the same dslr at home, and so had to show her. All this was OK I thought and wouldnt have been a problem if she had done a good job in the end. I specifically asked her to wait for me to approve the picture because of the specifications but she didnt and went on to lek What really annoyed me was when I spoke to one of their workers about fixing it, they had already deleted it and he was so nonchalant about it. Waste of my time! Will never go there again.

Ive gone to Delaware Camera consistently for the past couple years, and its been a consistently disappointing experience. The employees are, with two or three exceptions, lacking in any sort of knowledge and generally unpleasant. When they arent actively trying to avoid or ignore customers, they range from disinterested to openly hostile. Theyve ruined several rolls of my film, and totally botched the printing of my friends wedding pictures. Despite this, nobody has ever offered an apology, much less a refund. Oh, and the store smells terrible.Its a real shame, because Id much rather be dealing with a local business than mailing my negatives out and ordering everything from B&H, but when a place offers such a regularly unpleasant and uneven experience, what choice is there really? This is really the only game in town, which reflects poorly on Buffalo. Maybe their ownership does a better job in Philadelphia.

Their prices are as good as the chain stores, but they offer a level of service and expertise you will not find anywhere else, while allowing you to support the local economy.

Picture was enhance with color, but pretty much look the same.
