The service was good but they need more people. Why should there be just one person working the counter when it is the time of the month when many people are moving?

Fair price for a necessary service. I dont understand why they dont advertise the hidden costs...but the $19.95 a day turned out to be over $70.00. I am still happy because it was cheaper than having to hire a moving company. Staff was friendly and service was great.

I cannot say strongly enough how good my experience was with Larkin District U-Haul. They were so, so kind, professional, and helpful. I find moving extremely anxiety-provoking, and the Larkin District team made it so easy and stress-free. I lived on a very narrow Buffalo street and they did an excellent job of dropping off and picking up my U-Box. They have very strong local knowledge- I described the block and the manager knew the exact block and how to best handle parking the U-Box. I would strongly recommend this U-Haul office to anyone reading this review.

UHaul is fantastic as a whole, but the manager lacks business knowledge. I filled the truck with gasoline to a level that it overflowed and I was charged 7$ for “not-full” truck. Is this the way to do business? I spent 2000$ for move and 7$ is not a big deal, but the way the manager handled this was pathetic to say the least..

Horrible customer service. Ive been billed incorrectly, told it will be corrected, and of course it is not. Put on hold for 30 to 50 minutes to extend a rental and follow up to billing error. Having experienced numerous unsatisfactory experiences with this location, I would advise trying another location or better yet a competitor.

Ive rented cargo trailers from this location previously, just like the 5x8 I just rented for two days. First, Paula L. is an incredibly kind person to deal with. She is friendly, explains any details needed, and makes the rental experience straightforward and fast. Second, the location itself could use a few more trailers that arent previously damaged. This latest rental had hastily pat hed gouge marks along the left tire fender, as if someone previously ripped it off. There were small holes around the patch marks at that spot, and along the front shell as if they were going to put repair screws in, then didnt. I needed to tape them in order for water to not enter as I towed it. It also had tire scuff marks all over the front bottom edge as if somehow someone hit the trailer, bypassing the tongue. The interior of the trailer had two large pieces of wooded scuff rail that was previously ripped off, so no way to tie items to the side walls. All in all the staff are great, but the equipment is well past its prime.

The guy who put on my hitch was great and helpful. Solid guy and knowledgeable. For management reference to who earned this rating, I was there from 1pm-3pm 12/04.

Went in to get a trailer hitch installed. I called ahead to make sure if I can come in since I was bringing in my own hitch. I was quoted a price higher since I was bringing in my own hitch but when I went there the price was increased almost double that. Look I know that people gotta make a living but be fair. I was ready to pay double when I spoke with the representative over the phone. Thats not good customer service. If anyone is looking to install any hitch I would advise its better to do it purchase and install through uhual and make sure they print out the estimate before they do anything.I had to get it done since I need to move something asap. When they printed out the price they put on miscellaneous labor. That just shows that I didnt need to be charged tripled when you have to go in system and look for a miscellaneous item type of labor. If they do the labor as it says then there is a charge which would specify if it is a third party labor.

Disorganized staff with logistical problems but very clean facility.

I went on to return the truck the same day I picked up it up. I went to return the truck at this location where they proceeded to charge me for an additional 60+ miles. I told the representative there that could not be possible. I told her I know I went over due to having to pick the truck up at a different location that I had originally selected by no fault of my own, but there is no way I could have gone that far over. Basically, I was told that is what it says in their system so I would have to pay the extra miles. After I got the receipt from the representative, I compared it with the picture I had taken before departing the pick up location in Rochester and no surprise, the mileage did not add up. The representative at this location said the Victor location did not update the mileage of the truck and she would notify her manager so I could get my refund. I have yet to hear anything from this location and I have certainly not seen the refund I am due back. I will never be using this company ever again. Horrible experience from start to finish.

The guy was not able to do hitch install for my car, and did not call ahead to tell me. I eventually ended up going there twice but not getting my hitch installed.

New facility, great prices, very efficient design with loading dock, includes truck drop off on site, very accommodating. I moved in here from life storage I was paying $250 for climate control 10x12 and at u-haul $ 125 for same climate control 10x10 big diff in size???

Awful! Awful! Awful! My company needed a 17 foot truck from 5:20 am until 1:40 pm. We HAD to use 24 / 7 mobile check - in, but were told how easy this 15 minute tops process is. It took almost an hour!!! We had to provide multiple points of contact that could be confirmed right then and there and take multiple photos. Multiple sets of information had to be entered multiple times and we needed 2 email confirmation codes. We were told there were no 17 foot trucks, yet there was 1 there when we got there! Equipment sticking out the back and 40 minutes late...if our business looks bad so should yours!

After calling and trying to get prices. The women needed all my information just to give me a price. I proceeded to ask her about a trailer price instead and she was beyond “confused” asking me if I needed to reserve two different hauls. I told her again I’m getting prices!!! She said...”oh, oh ok” just a moment. After being on hold for a minute she hung up. Upon calling back she wouldn’t answer. No other UHaul place that I’ve contacted has ever needed all my information just for a price. They seemed to all comprehend the question “ How much for...” Very unprofessional... rude and not very good practice. My suggestion is to find someone else to answer your phones.

Clean, attentive and professional

Very nice customer service from Tom and Allen but after getting wiring installed on my Jeep for trailer, turn signals stopped working a week later. No turn signals or trailer lights will work. Brought back to location and was told that it was a relay behind my dashboard and they wouldnt know how to fix it. They also told me they mounted the controller outside the vehicle instead of inside so they didnt have to drill into my Jeep. They skipped a step. They advised me to come get my vehicle with no turn signals and bring it to a mechanic!!! Then submit a claim and maybe I would be reimbursed. I now have to make plans to be without a vehicle while someone fixes their mistake. I called back to speak to corporate and was told I already had spoken to the manager of that location and couldnt be transferred to anyone else. I started to explain the situation and the woman hung up. If you need anything done to your vehicle STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION!!!

Nice location, big store but only one person was there and they were in the back - left a sign with their phone number and a message to call/text if in need of help. Seems like a bad way to leave a store - hanging open like that.

After getting horrible customer service through the U-Haul call center in which they were rude, uninformed and ultimately did not set us up for an appointment and the poor customer service we received at the Main Street Uhaul (Dont go there) we were lucky to call this location. One of the guys went and picked up the parts to install a hitch and did it in a timely manner as promised. We were very satisfied

Nice clean Uhaul store. Only 2ppl working on Sunday when I returned the truck so checkout was slow but the service was polite and professional.
