I have been with Brylin Outpatient for some time now and i have overcome more obstacles then i did going through as many consultings with different places or just not seeking any help. I swear by this place they find someone who fits you and what you have been through always caring and understanding never judgemental.

Due to the pandemic, I have not physically been in the office. However, based on the care I have received online and on the phone, I can say that the counselors truly care and want to help you. They do not push anything on you .. they give you options and any progress that you do make, they are sincerely happy for you and simply encourage you to keep going when you are struggling. Highly recommend! Counselor Yvonne is particularly amazing!

Seriously has the most amazing counselors, and psychiatrists. Ive realized if you dont put any work in for yourself, you wont be able to get anything out of counseling. But the counselors are your biggest cheerleaders, and are cheering you on every step of the way! So thankful for BryLin Outpatient.

4th Update: Just found out I was lied to by the office prior to being let go. Things are being said that was never adv to me. Back to where we started. Brylin Outpatient knows no accountability.3rd Update: Spoke with DOH last week who advise that they should be speaking with me this week. Robert gave me a call on 10/26/20 and listened to my concerns. No apologies but he wasnt the wrong that wronged me. Atleast Im starting to feel heard and hope things can get better.2nd Update: They figured out who I was and called. When I advise I have proof the director suggested I spoke with her boss robert. He called and adv we can talk. I adv I was at work. He advised to call back at my convenience. I took off early that day and called him back as this has affected me. He stated now I caught him at a bad time and advised we could talk last week monday 10/12 at 9. We had this convo the Friday before. He never called. I had filed a complaint with the DOH and they adv the last note they had was for me to follow up at my convenience and not that he advised he would call. I called the Wednesday and left a message advising he was supposed to call and no response. They dont care. I was berated and treated to feel like nothing by my former psychiatrist and office manager and not one person reached out to apologize. Please beware. Will follow up with the DOH and share my proof and pray there is some accountability. I dont deserve any of this. Im a good person.Response to Facility: Ive called multiple times to speak with the quality control director when I wasnt hearing back from the director at outpatient and was transferred each time to the wrong extension.Im writing this review in hopes of others that went through the samething speaking up.I was berated by my psychiatrist Norma Ponohan and the office Manager Lisa, who basically called me a liar when I said the hospital called for psychiatrist and got no response while I was in the ER. I was lied to by the director lindsey about transferring me to a new psychiatrist. Instead, they discharged me.I was in the hospital and couldnt speak with my psychiatrist when I really needed to and decided to call her on my own. Im on the the phone crying and stating I need help, and the last thing she said to me was I got feedback from the front that you said i dont give you enough time and I think thats unfair.My sessions with Norma always turned into her talking about herself and how she is overworked and she doesnt want to catch a heart attack and shes 77 years old. She told me in one of my sessions that she was advised by management that there was no time for sympathy, when talking to patients. Afterwards she told me to keep it between us because people will tell on her and she would get in trouble. I felt manipulated and wished I had said something in the first place because it would have saved me all this heart ache.They dont care about you. I could sit here and write a book from start to finish and even then, its even worse. After being told by the director that she will see if any of the doctors can take a transfer, she had my counselor Rebecca, that I absolutely loved, tell me they are discharging me.I was hurt by her as well because it seems as if they have all talked and painted me as this person and I felt judged by her, like no one had my back or understood where I was coming from. I felt abandoned. Up to that moment I still never had helped from being in the hospital, so they just discharged me, and completely neglected me. And that was not the first time. My medication was too high and because I couldnt reach her I had to drop it myself. And when I explained it to her she said Good, and if thats still an issue drop it to 50 mg. No apologies, no nothing.Please, speak up about the mental abuse you get from the people that are suppose to be helping you. If you dont, they will turn it around and blame you like brylin did to me. This review is not under my real name for privacy reasons but im sure they know who I am.

My experience has been great so far. They dont push medication on you and have a diverse approach to therapy. This is the first time I have done group therapy and it really helps. I definitely recommend this facility.

I wish I would have known about this facility sooner. I received more guidance from this facility in one month of treatment versus my previous facility in four years. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for mental health treatment options.

Please people do your homework and be very careful who you see as a phychatrist md or therapist especially if you are on a benzodiazepine or any controlled substance a md will and can just discountinue without any type of tampering and completely stop even after 10 + years be carful abd therapy wise alot of them are only in it for the $$ i mean yes of course we need money but mds nobody cares and im sorry but its the truth i soeak only realaity please dont take offence noone abd please keep this up google im trying to help people wuth the review therapist will only minupulate you its very dangerous for md and therapy im not only talking here but others in the buffalo wesern ny area thank u and God bless make anerica safe afain

Everyone from the time I entered the building to the time I left was excellent. Staff was so very welcoming and supportive. Canceling an appointment for an unexpected reason and making appoints were a breeze NO hassles at all. I would highly recommend this facility and its associates.

Went for family court evaluation​ because ex is a junkie so I had to go to because she had to go. Kathy more concerned with getting insurance to pay for visit by portraying me as a habitual drug user because I admitted to smoking pot once in the past year. Piss was clean, should have kept my mouth shut. She reported that although clean, drug use was admitted so counseling recommend. What is this, commission based sales? What a bunch of biased unprofessionals.

Caring, professional staff. Specialized alcohol and substance abuse programming for adolescents and adults. They have a free family group every Monday night, very informative!

The counselor I met with for an intake assessment made me feel really uncomfortable and came off as judgemental. Horrible experience, not the way to go when someone is coming in voluntarily for help. I will never use this agency again.

They treat individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and all forms of trauma and stress.

Both outpatient mental health and outpatient substance abuse care in one location.... Convenient!

I wish I could give this place less than one star! I called and left messages several times and I never received a response. Horrible office admin. I wish I could rate the facility itself but I never got in!
