Overcharging/Poor Pricing Practices.Advanced Irrigation staff was courteous and professional. Scheduling went well and the individual was on time and help answer all technical questions. However, Advanced Irrigation pricing practices are shady at best. For onsite sprinkler adjustments they charge $80 per hour. Because they don’t know how long the work will take they can’t estimate the cost. This is reasonable. The problem is with material cost. They originally charged me $17.95 per nozzle replaced instead of something closer to the actual cost of the nozzles which at this time is $9.09 from the manufacture. Because they charge for labor I would not expect a 50% markup. I could understand 1 dollar, but not $8 dollars for a $9 dollar part. After talking with them they lowered my per nozzle price to $12 per nozzle. I paid, but I am not happy.Bottom line is I cannot recommend them for work because they are not upfront on pricing and you will be over charged. You should never have to complain in order to get the right price.

These guys were great! It took me forever to find a company to return my call for some updates to my sprinkler system. I had a bunch of questions about cost and how feasible my ideas were, the owner came out to take a look and gave me an estimate free of charge. The installers were prompt, courteous and professional. They did a great job of adding a new zone and adjusting the location of a sprinkler. I would highly recommend this company based upon my experience dealing with other similar companies. Cant recommend them enough!

The only reason why I went with this company is because they contracted with Lennar to install my irrigation system at my new house. They canceled the morning of 2 times on me to install my irrigation which delayed it being installed multiple weeks and then in turn delayed on my sod installation. I have had them back multiple times to add rock to my landscaping in my back yard and to replace multiple trees that have died to their poor installation. I recently received a new tree from them but they poorly installed it again. They showed up this morning to add more dirt, mulch, and a support rope and stake to prevent the tree from falling over. I was supposed to have them inspect my irrigation system today due to a suspected leak when they installed the system. Their worker never showed up. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are unprofessional, do a poor quality of work, and are not timely. Avoid this company at all cost.

Advanced Irrigation installed our system in 2014 and has maintained it since. The installation was timely, at a good price and of great quality. Every technician sent for spring and fall maintenance has been on time, courteous, and professional. Today Brandon came to do spring maintenance. He was on time, courteous, professional AND he did an outstanding job of understanding and implementing the complicated custom setting I wanted put in my controller. Brandon is very personable and knowledgeable, and it was a pleasure to have him work at my home.

Ive always had good experiences with Advanced Irrigation. I am especially pleased with the service done by Brandon. He is an excellent problem solver, gives clear directions, has a positive attitude and he goes above and beyond to provide excellent service. Gary came out today to turn on our sprinkler system for the summer & he was very helpful & took the time to show us how to operate the system in our new house. He also replaced several sprinkler heads for us that were leaking. He worked quickly, didn’t make a mess, brought me around the yard to show me all the ones he felt needed to be fixed & made sure things were working as expected once he finished. Very pleased!

Used this company since they purchased certain services from our previous vendor. Invoiced over twice what we paid last year. 6 hours of labor!! Were told the system was set to run and tested. We have 11 stations and the 2 stations in front of our building were not functioning. We tested and found plugged screens and bad sprinkler heads. I am not sure why we were charged for 6 hours of labor when in fact the system does not appear to have been tested at all!

We had our sprinkler system installed 4/6/21. Crew arrived 10 minutes early, very professional and courteous. The foreman even took his shoes off to come in the house! Offered to come back and review if we had any questions.

Brandon has serviced my sprinkler system a couple times. He is personable, prompt and professional. He explains the issues, if any, and doesnt do any repair work unless its approved. Thank you, Brandon!

I have been using Advanced Irrigation to shutdown/startup my irrigation system since 2010. They are always prompt and professional, taking time to explain any issues and getting my input before making repairs. In eleven years of service, I have never had an issue with their work or service.

Sad as I have used this company for years and each year they show up late for spring opens and fall blowouts. Well, this year was just the straw that broke the camels back. The service tech comes out without waders to properly pull the piping from the pond and he tells me he will have to come back. Then I get a bill for service and I mention the jobs not done. My pipe and filter is still in the pond, i replied. I get an email from a new person who says The Tech could not pull the pipe due to overgrowth in the cattails and basically made it up as the cattails have not changed for the previous 5 years and the Tech told me They did not tell me that this job was a pond job and dont have waders. Its not much money at $95 but does principle not matter to business owners anymore? Do good work, show up when you are supposed to and charge a fair price. This is the first review I have ever given in my 43 years walking the planet so you can imagine how i feel. Just pick someone else even if more expensive, but demand proper service!

I just made a delivery there it was in and out guys were friendly and they took off 33 pallets by hand in less than a half an hour my hats go off to them.. awesome Ill go back there anytime

Scheduled for a new Irrigation Installation but didnt show up. Called the company and spoke with Chris, he said that they were too busy and will have to reschedule my installation for next year. The guy didn’t even apologize for not showing up. It was very bad service and unprofessional.

Scheduled an apt. And they did not show up. I was told they were coming on a certain day and assumed the job was done. We now have bursted sprinkler system. Very frustrated with the poor service. Strongly do not recommend

STAY AWAY.. They came out to do a standard service on my brand new system they installed the month before. They picked the date and time of the service which happened to be on a cold day in between two weeks of warm weather. The tech damaged my system during the service and didnt say anything about it. I found the damage a day later. When I emailed the them, the owner Chris blamed it on the cold weather and basically said it was my problem to deal with. I should have looked at the reviews before I agreed to let them come back out. I wouldnt trust them to do work for me ever again.

Very courteous and professional. Completive pricing using top shelf products (Hunter). Did an excellent job cleaning up when all the work was done. I would highly recommend to friends or family. I definitely have the greenest yard in the neighborhood!!!

No accountability or follow through to complete work on time or they dont show up at all. Its only leaking a gallon a week. The pond in our yard said otherwise. 2.5 weeks to get it fixed. Landscaping and sod were supposed to be completed this week by the same company. Its no where near completion. I am more than happy to provide pictures.

They consistently pulled no shows and one trip turned into three and four trips to fix issues and these companies charged top dollar for service... Never again...Advanced Irrigation is my choice now😀

I recently built a house and needed to choose my landscaping company. I emailed 5 different companies to obtain estimates. Not only was Advanced Irrigation the best price, they contacted right away and the service was Fantastic! Jeff Flaherty was my point of contact and he always returned my phone calls/ emails promptly. He was also able to provide me with excellent visuals and excellent recommendations! They did my sod, rock, trees, shrubs, and my irrigation system and Im very pleased with EVERYTHING! Thank you!!

Is this a real company? Check other reviews and then try to hire them. The negative reviews are real. Who gave them 5 star! Company’s owner itself? Total fraud.

Advanced completed our initial startup of our sprinkler system in June. Since that day they came out, our system has not returned to working condition. We have tried contacting the company MULTIPLE times with no response to address this issue (e-mail, phone, voicemail, etc.). I would highly recommend staying away from this company. A different local company is coming out willingly to fix their mistake.

I wouldn’t hire this company to pick up dog sh!* out of my yard let alone do any irrigation or landscape work. Unprofessional in all aspects of the business. Stay very far away from this company.

My husband and I got our sprinkler system installed last fall. Paid them for their work. Then this spring they came out to start it up (since last fall it was too cold for them to do so) and it didnt work properly. So THEN they tell us our pipes are too small and that we are going to have to higher a plumber to install bigger pipes. One of the advanced irrigation techs even said you can take just one look at these pipes and know your system wont work. Then why did they install them last fall, knowing our pipes were going to be an issue... ethically and morally it was just wrong. We ended up spending an extra $700 on a plumber to install bigger pipes. Our sprinkler system still does NOT work properly.

Enjoyed working with Jeff and his team at Advanced Irrigation, Jeff was easy to communicate with and consulted with us before and during our landscaping process. Would recommend him to others!

Had Advanced come out for an initial startup of an intact sprinkler system - first, their employee got the time wrong so I had to wake him up in the truck he was sleeping in outside of our house to get started. After he started it up, our system now freezes constantly and is unable to successfully go through a whole cycle. I called Advanced and spoke to someone who just tried to walk me through the technical details of fixing the system rather than having one of their professionals come out and look at it after they messed it up in the first place. I then emailed them to ask for an employee to come out to look at it, and did not receive a response.I will be looking for a different company to fix their mistake.

I had Advanced Irrigation install my sprinkler system, 16 zones over just under 2 acres about three months ago. I can say that I am very happy with my experience with them. They designed and installed the whole system very quickly, and it works very well! I would definitely recommend these guys!

The techs were always friendly, their lawn treatment was good. They were not clear on pricing for the irrigation start up. Had a neghiborhood deal on blow out for and never asked for a start up... They called in Spring and said they wanted to come out for our Spring start up but never said it would cost anything let alone $70. I assumed it was part of the price we paid in the Fall. A bit pricey for what gets done in a startup especially when no programming is needed and half the heads are still under snow.

Our builder put us in a last minute time crunch and the Advanced Irrigation crew saved our yard. I called in desperate for a solution and Chris said, Ill have my crew there in an hour My family and I cannot express how grateful we are for Advanced Irrigations commitment to great service and quality work.

We had a new system installed last summer and had some major landscaping done by the Advanced Irrigation Crew. Their price was in line with what we wanted to spend, and was very competitive. The work was done while I was out of town, and they seamlessly worked with my wife and I over the phone. I truly felt comfortable leaving my yard in their care while I was away.

After a rough start this company came through in the end and made my wife happy. I normally dont adjust reviews after the fact, but they worked very hard to make us happy. Solid work.

I had a technician out to my house to replace some heads and after identifying the heads I asked for an explanation of the pricing and a ballpark estimate of the cost for the work before starting. The technician was rude and would not explain a clear answer on the pricing. When I asked again he asked me why I was questioning everything and was rude and unprofessional. I asked him to leave without performing the work and he angrily sped away through my residential neighborhood. Hard to believe and sad in general that something like this would happen for very simple service. I and our neighborhood association will not be doing business again with Advanced Irrigation.

These guys are awesome!!! The install went so smooth- they are very professional. We live in Minneapolis and have a very steep hill on our front yard that is impossible to keep watered. It was either a sprinkler system or $20k for a retaining wall. They assessed our needs perfectly and I feel we are on our way to finally having the green lawn weve always wanted. We also have them do our lawn care now- fertilizing and weed control. In the past we have used Scotts or Trugreen and they cannot even compete with Advanced Irrigation! They explain in detail what they put on our lawn and what it does. Im very happy that we found them!

They run their business like their employees drive their work trucks. Recklessly and without care for anyone else.

Scheduled spring start up. They where suppose to check rain sensor. First rain fall I find switch in disabled position, I turned it on and still doesnt work. One of the heads is watering half my neighbors yard even though I was told all where adjusted. One zone was leaking really bad, when I called back I had to wait over 2 weeks for them to come back. They didnt show up that day, called and they said sorry we didnt have you on the schedule.

We had a bumpy start but Ellie, Joy and Chris all worked extremely hard to make everything right. I am pleased with the outcome and the customer service.

Technician never showed up for his appointment. Sent him text messages and called and left a voicemail an hour after sitting around waiting. No response back…. it’s now 5:30pm and after business hours, no show! Nice what an inconvenience.
