Recently we had an access elevator installed in our new build. The quality of the home elevator exceeded my expectations. The ride is very quiet and smooth. The professionals, George and Mike, were very helpful and available to answer any questions. The process of installing the elevator was strange and unfamiliar, but at the end the result is wonderful. My parents have used Access Elevator multiple times for repairs to their Ameriglide chair lift. Each time they come for a repair, they charge $200 for the service call. They never seem to have parts with them so there is always a second visit which costs another $200 -$500 depending on the repair. At this point, they have invoices totally almost $1,800 for repairs. The chair recently broke down so the Access Elevator service tech determined that the wheels were bad and they would have to order. That visit totaled $200. My parents waited to hear back on a repair date, but heard nothing. A week later my father called and they said theyre having trouble getting the parts. Two weeks later my father calls again. They still havent been able to get the parts. So my father calls Ameriglide direct and they are shipping the wheels direct to him. Im not sure why Access Elevator had such a difficult time.My parents live in a 2nd story apartment and if there was ever a fire or emergency where they needed to get out, My mother wouldnt be able to without the chair. The representative at Access Elevator and her manager didnt seem to care about the urgency to get the chair fixed. They dont seem very customer service oriented nor do they seem concerned about their elderly clients. After spending close to $1,800 with Access Elevator on repairs to this chair, weve decided to find another company to work with.I would not recommend them in the future. They werent compassionate at all. Its all about the money to them.

A wheelchair lift installation from Access Elevator has made things simple for me and my wife. She has restricted mobility and we were finding it difficult to access the other floors in the house. The wheelchair lift took away all the tension.
