I made an appointment, but the stylist available was in the back loudly talking and laughing for over 20 minutes past the start of the appointment. I get the simplest haircuts ever, and asked for a, very small amount off the top -- as in like 2-3 cm. She definitely was not listening at all and straight up chopped about 2 inches off the top of my head. Then when I said thats way too much, she said she thought I said to shave it all off. Not even kidding.

I want to start by saying that the stylists here are so kind and help create a very pleasant atmosphere, however, you have to be very specific with your requests. I showed pictures of what I wanted (a trim and some light shaping of bangs) and what I ended up receiving was 6 inches of hair cut off. I did not ask for that and I was so shocked I didn’t know what to say. Fair warning, please please be attentive and make sure your stylist knows *exactly* what you are requesting.

The hairdresser literally shaved a hole in the back of my boyfriends’ hair and didn’t say a word to him. I told him when he got home and he said that he thought it was weird that she didn’t show him the back when she was finished like they usually do. Absolutely unacceptable. Would not recommend to anyone. He tried to fill out a complaint in the Supercuts site but they wouldn’t do anything since he didn’t know the name of the hairdresser. (This was in February 2021)

Took my 3 boys to get their haircut yesterday and the ladies here are wonderful. They really went above and beyond for a single dad with the boys as they made this a nice quick and easy process which any parent would know so thank you ladies keep up the amazing work

Its all right some off them dont know how to do any cut I think if u in a hair salon u should know how to cut hair this is one of the reasons I dont cut my hair on Supercuts no exceptions

Prices have gone up, but overall the service is great and I make an appointment and I’m in and out in 15 minutes

Jaylin cut my hair today. She spent around 7 mins, but results were mediocre.Not very detail oriented, the cut around the ears could be better. Also she seemed tired and like she didnt want to be there.Poor attitude.Ive had other folks from this place do a good job, so it would be unfair to rate this place with 2 stars.

Overcharged me by giving herself a $40 tip..... mind you I wanted a fade and she had no clue how to do 1 or a lineup...smh.... guess this is why they work here...shruggs....only reason I went is cuz my barber moved outta state and I need a new 1...

Ive been coming to this location for over 10 years. They have a core group of staff that are wonderful, friendly and know how to cut my short hair!

Loved it. Every Supercuts seems to follow same professional practices along with being courteous and understanding.If possible take a picture of the haircut u want (this is very useful especially for Indians like me). Its better to make an appointment via the app. They are quite considerate for delays.You get a $2 off on your first haircut at a Supercut so dont forget that.

The people there do a great job with hair. On this particular day we decided to do a purple highlight treatment on my hair then cut it. Well.... Buffalo has a power outage and I have to go back tomorrow. Denise finished the color and whole we sat in the dark she had enough light from the windows to rinse it and when I left we went outside with the mirror. The purple is fantastic. Cant wait to see how it comes out with the cut!

It really depends on who you get that cuts your hair.So far I had a 5 star experience and a 1 star experience.The first time I went the hair stylist was friendly and did a good job cutting my hair the way I wanted it.The second time I felt like the other hair stylist just wanted to get it done and over with and she actually missed several spots. So on the right side of my head in the back my hair is 3/4in, while on the left side its about 1.5 in long.........

Staff is friendly. Has bathroom available and small waiting area. Expect to wait a little while, even with app. Bring toys for younger children during wait. Can call to schedule appointments. Walk ins welcome but recommend calling two hours ahead to avoid long wait or using app.

I received the best ladies cut that I have had in 6 months. I do not recall my stylists name however she is from Chicago and has Puerto Rican heritage. She put the best layers into my long strands that are straight, and perfect. I am so over-the-top pleased with my cut. I visited during COVID and we both wore masks the entire time and the store is very clean.

Ive been getting my hair cut here on and off for 10+ yrs. Some of the girls/guy here really know what theyre doing and can get you in and out of the chair quickly while still giving you a nice looking cut. The only problem is sometimes theyll get new folks or someone whos not great, and if you get stuck with them, no beuno. The app they have makes it super convenient to make an appointment. Ive also brought my young son here to get his hair cut and they do a good job catering to him.

This is overall to the company. The price to hair cut for men is very expensive because the mostly men have a short hair and need to pay $18 is to much money... You lost mens clientsfie this... You need to revise and dow the price because y to much money for 3min

Stylist instinctively knew I just needed a man cut, polite small talk and fast service. Treat staff like that well, and itll set you apart from other chain stores.

I was happy cutting my hair in there for a year until this last 2 times, they did to my hair whatever they wanted, except what I asked for. Won’t go back.

Its one of a chain of hair salons. So while it doesnt have the charm of a barber shop, where they know your name, and your cut, they do take walk-ins, theyre a unisex saloon, and relatively cheap. Theres usually a coupon that can be found easily online, which can generally save you $2 - $4. A suggestion: Call ahead. They do not take reservations but they will serve you first if you already called and checked in. Plus then you will know if there is a wait time.

I normally do not subscribe to franchise hair cut places but several years ago, in a pinch, I decided to give it a try, and went to the location on Deleware in the Bagel Jays plaza and Michelle cut my hair exactly hoe I wanted it and have never looked back. I recommend Michelle and Shannon and have never had a bad cut from them. Love them!

Worst experience ever.

Clean shop, friendly staff. Good for BASIC cuts or coloring. Some are better than others, if you find a stylest you like, best not to switch. If you want any 2 to 3 step color or hilighting process- I suggest you try elsewhere.

Ive been going here to this location for over 11 years now and these girls always take good care of me! Danielle the manager knows her stuff, is very efficient, cuts a great head of hair and is always a pleasure. She ladies are all personable and make for a good experience. I never go anywhere else!

This was my third time going to a supercuts. The other 2x were decent experiences at different locations. This experience was particularly terrible. There were screaming kids running around. I went in for a trim and now 2-3 inches are gone. I had to tell the stylist multiple times that the sides were uneven, which was clear as day. When I got home I cleaned it up myself, as it was somehow still uneven. Nearly a year of growing my hair and getting regular trims gone in 5 minutes.

Dresser did not care about me or my hair, did it quickyl and sloppily. Didn’t do it properly after specific request on multiple occasions prior to cut. Lines and cuts are uneven, never going back.

I love this place! The stylists always ask what I want done, if Im not sure they give suggestions and advice, but never try to talk me into something I dont want. Efficient and pleasant. They keep your info on file so if you do color, they can be sure to get the same color mixed up correctly the next time. Be aware they do NOT make appointments. If you call ahead they will take your name down and you can then get taken care of ahead of walk-ins. (Reviews complaining about appts not being honored are mistaken as this shop doesnt do appts in the traditional sense)

I didnt realize how angry I would be at this place until I got home.. but basically I payed 35 dollars to get my hair washed and straightened (i have curly hair), and as soon as she was done my hair was still frizzy. And as soon as I left the store it got progressively puffier and it was honestly the same results I achieve at home with my cheap straightner which is why I decided to go to the salon and it turned out to be pointless and a waste of money. I dont remember the girls name unfortunately. There was instances where the girl burned me but im not entirely mad at that, even though at one point where she looked away WHILE using the straightener and burned me twice on the same spot which really hurt. The only reason I decided to leave a review is because I know the girls at the supercuts on the elmwood plaza do a way better job with my hair every single time, and its always super straight, they dont burn me, and they can straighten my baby hairs without burning me (this girl left them curly). When I get my hair done there it doesnt get this puffy even if I sleep with it unwrapped. Ive never had a bad experience in supercuts where I had to leave an angry review until now...it usually gives me anxiety to complain but...I wasted 35 dollars for this. My hair is currently a mess. And I will never go in there again. Other than this experience, my mom went once and wanted a trim but they cut a whole 2 inches off her hair (her hair was longer than mine and now its a lot shorter). Im not sure if I could get a refund or anything, I was anxious and didnt ask for a reciept. I was sitll trying to be positive but I am certainly very unhappy with the results. I dont like doing this but I feel like this is the only way I can get at least some of my anger out. And 35 dollars? My mom and sister both went with me and them COMBINED was 30 something bucks... my sister cut her hair and my mom had the same as me done. I feel like I was robbed.
