Father in laws double ovens died we were looking at having to spend a few thousand to replace them; he call National Appliance who came and did diagnostics and determined needed new control board. 2006 ovens so no parts anymore; National recommended a rebuild company and we sent the part and within a week received a rebuild which was installed and worked perfectly. National Appliance charged a very fair price for diagnostic testing (and disassembly and reassembly of parts to do so) and gave perfect diagnosis and solution. On time, pleasant/knowledgeable and neat workers.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Just a shame they couldnt help me more. The part I needed was for a garbage disposal that was installed in 1972. Kind of expected that. Just have to repair the broken part so it works, not getting a new disposal at this time.

Overall, not a pleasant experience.Called for an in-warranty washer that produced an obnoxious squealing sound during the spin cycle. Oddly, the business gives you a date that the technician will show up, and requires you to call on the day in question if you want to find out the 2-hour window. Otherwise, the time when they arrive will be a mystery. Whatever, not a big deal, I called as instructed.Their tech Mark showed up within the designated window, and immediately complained to us about the position of the washer (2nd floor laundry closet). He opened the front panel to the washer, ran the spin cycle a few times, closed it back up, said, I dont know-- could be the motor or the pump, but Im just guessing, and started packing his tool bag to leave. All within 5 minutes.Obviously not satisfied with the lack of effort, I asked him to try disconnecting things and running it again to at least narrow down the source of the noise. (I really shouldnt have to ask a repair technician to try something so basic.) He finally did and at least ruled out the motor and pump after disconnecting the belt. After a few more minutes, he again closed it up, began packing his toolkit, and again said, I dont know.He mentioned that it could be a part thats difficult to reach (tub bearing) and actively tried to discourage me from having it repaired because the job could take 4 hours and the whole machine would have to be dismantled, would create a mess, etc. I said I didnt object at all to this; its fully covered by warranty and we just want it fixed. He said, You could live with it... its not going to hurt the machine, after which I asked how he could authoritatively say that when he still couldnt tell me what it was!His only response was that he would have to call Speed Queen next week and see, and began to leave, but refused to give a date when we could expect an update. Unsurprisingly, we never received one. There was also nothing stopping him from calling the technicians line at Speed Queen while he was here; they were open. (For the record, I did try calling SQs customer line, but it hangs up after 30 minutes of hold time, so I havent been able to reach them yet to discuss this issue directly.)Ultimately, it was a useless visit and a complete waste of our time. Office manager Megan was very polite and understanding over the phone when I called later that day, but our washer remains unfixed, and we still havent heard from them after 2 weeks, despite being told wed get a response the following business day.I would avoid them if you care about having courteous, professional repair technicians who actually give a damn show up at your house. Maybe they behave differently for out-of-warranty repairs where they can charge for the visit, but I cant speak to that.

The repair person left a mess, didn’t have the proper parts, had to order them, and when he returned to finish the repair, ( a week later)he didn’t make sure that dryer light was functioning. It was before they began this process. While this company usually has the parts on hand, I probably will not let them repair my appliances, better to do it yourself.

I called on Monday, they ordered the part on Monday, I picked it up Tuesday. It was the right part (two Frigidaire door gaskets) Cheaper than anywhere and they gave me a Veterans discount. Awsome place. The salesgirl is professional, pretty, and smart. She knows appliance parts and told me exactly how to install. I highly recommend.

If I could give them zero stars I would. First of all the women working there are rude. They have an awful attitude. Secondly my husband thought he needed a new seal for our fridge. It was $130. He ended up not needing it as we just needed a new fridge. He tried to return the unused, unopened seal and they refuse to return his money. I highly recommend finding somewhere different go. I tried to email them (twice) to speak to a manager and no response.

There are several appliance parts and repair centers located in close proximity to me, but none are as helpful as National Appliance. If they dont have the parts in stock, they can get them quickly and their prices are fair. The woman who typically answers the phone and handles parts lookup is so pleasant and so willing/eager to help. Great place to do business with.

They ALWAYS have the parts I need, in stock, at a fair price. You can buy it online cheaper, but, in my opinion, this is the type of stuff you want to buy at a store front, so you can ask questions and receive valuable knowledge and get your appliance fixed promptly. That is the added value of buying at a local parts dealer. Shop Local!

Today I brought in a broken thermal fuse for a dishwasher. They were able to test my part to confirm it needed to be replaced, and had the OEM replacement part in stock, only a few bucks over the online price. Found a bad coupler on my washing machine. Purchased a motor coupler late Saturday hours. Got the part home, further disassembled the washing machine to install new part. Placed one part of the new coupler on the shaft and noticed metal particles in another area of the machine. Found additional repairs were needed beyond the value of the machine. Attempted to return the motor coupler early Monday morning and was told by the owner I would have to come back. Took an hour off work to get to their shop before closing and the owners wife while speaking with the same man I spoke with in the morning told me the part was used and no way to take it back. Very rude in this disclosure. Could have explained this in the morning and not forced me into taking time off work. The parts purchased were never completely installed due to the other repairs needed. My complaint is the rude attitude of both the owner and his wife with no consideration to even attempting to satisfy the situation.

Do not stand behind their service. Had a technician come to the house to look at our Kenmore Dryer, as the unit was not drying the clothes properly. I had personally, previously cleaned out every piece of lint in the unit and in the duct line. The technician was not sure of the problem, but decided to try replacing the coil on the gas valve. Parts & Labor come with a 30 day guarantee. 40 days after the technician came the unit blew a fuse and then once the fuse was reset, would not start up again (even though the control panel does light up). After calling National Appliance the next morning, I was told that the work was outside the original warranty date (by 10 days!) and I would therefore not get any refund for the part (even though that apparently did not fix the problem) and I would be charged another trip charge ($70), above any other repair work (whether or not they can actually fix the unit is anyones guess). Id rather put the money towards a new unit than continue to pay National Appliance Service roughly $150 each time maybe fix the problem and not back up their work. Fool me once...

Repairman was completely incompetent. He did not look at what was needed, claimed the fridge needed a part, waited 3 weeks for part to come in. He came back a second time, with me being without a working fridge the entire weekend, and after a few min of pounding, decided he needed more parts. He was going to leave me without a fridge for another 2 weeks. He put the fridge back together after I insisted, in the process damaged my wall and the fridge, and left it worse than before he came. They refuse to come back, fix the damage they did, or get my icemaker working again. They are the worst repair service, I would not recommend them to anyone. I am taking the to court for the damages to my fridge and my house. He said he was told by management he was not allowed to say the fridge was unrepairable, even though it has been broken the entire 16 months of ownership. Thank god my son was there as a witness to this, I told him how completely incompetent the repair man was, he got to see for himself. I was forced to use them under an extended warranty contract through Frigidaire, the office manager is rude and they seem to not know what they are doing

There is a reason most of the reviews are negative for this store, they deserve it! Instead of purchasing parts online through Amazon I opted to support a local business. Purchased 3 different parts for a dryer, One of them corrected the problem. Went in to return the other 2 Un-Opened parts (bags still sealed) less than 16 hours after they were purchased and was told by a very rude older lady that the parts can not be returned as they are electrical, She even pointed to a sign as if thats an excuse for a horribly non customer friendly policy. Had the purchase been made through Amazon everything would be refundable without question. The very rude fashion in which she handled the situation was so unprofessional and the policy so archaic it was embarrassing and I hope many others spread the word and avoid this store. Next time its online purchase were they know how to provide customer service

First off , let me say I keep very good records and went back to my cell phone records and my July / August calendar which input everything for reminders .I called National Appliance repair on July 28th to have my dishwasher fixed being they were nearly only around the corner from me . On August 1st a man came out , looked at the dishwasher , and told me I need a thermal fuse for it . They would call me back when the part was in to come out and repair . During that first call , I had to pay service call & labor , which was a little over 135.00 . They would call me back once the part was in .August 17th , 3 weeks later , I HAD to call THEM to see if the part was in . Again , another week for them to come out . August 23rd he comes back out , charges me for the part and the labor . Another 120 . By mid September , my dishwasher was broke AGAIN . Same problem . I waited a bit to call back , but when I called back on September 29th , the man answered and said the part was only guaranteed for 30 days , I would have to pay service , labor , and part again ! Hed call me back when he could come out . He never did . ANOTHER week later I called and the receptionist / scheduler answered and told me to switch on and off my breaker and call back if I still had no power . Didnt even try to get anyone out here .I ended up calling another local appliance place . Its a pretty common part i find out from 2 other appliance repair places , they always have them in stock . New place came out 2 days later and he fixed it within 1/2 hour . He told me that all parts and work are guaranteed for a year .How in the world does National have a store front and not have common parts in stock ? Then not even call back a customer to schedule a time to come out . In all , It took me nearly 4 weeks to get my dishwasher fixed with national, and it worked for maybe 5-6 weeks.I would never repeat with this business again ! When I did call back today to complain about the service , the receptionist , ( which must be a wife of the owner or close family ) couldnt take constructive criticism . Didnt apologize , was extremely rude and didnt try to make things right . Not even a, Maam , Sorry for all this and we will refund you $5.00 . ( Or $7 , or $10 , or not charge me to come back out . ) Very rude . Pass this place on by if you want immediate courteous service !

My refrigerator stopped working on a Friday and I didnt realize it until later in the evening and every appliance repair service I looked up was not open on Saturday so I figured I would be out of luck until Monday. I happened to come across National Appliance Service Saturday morning while searching on google. I gave them a call and they were open! They sent out a technician and he arrived within an hour. He seemed to know exactly what the problem was; the computer board was shot and he showed me exactly where it burnt out, it was obvious that the part was not able to function anymore. He had a replacement part on his truck and had things fixed within a half hour. Quick service and price was fair. Thank you!!
