So READ THIS REVIEW CAREFULLY PLEASE.The hotel is fantastic. The problem I had was with House Keeping. ALL HOTELS ARE UNDER THE PRETEXT OF COVID EFFECTING THEIR BUSINESS. Ask for towels and bed sheets every day. I enquired as to why I did not have my bed sheets and towels replenished. She looked at me and said due to covid we do not clean rooms on a regular basis. I looked at her and said should u not clean the rooms to keep it sanitized so I dont get sick? She looked at me with her mouth open as if I was about to ask her to marry me.

Positive: The location was great! Really close to Knotts which i liked a lot. Negative: bed bugs!!all my family and i were bit the next morning. I told the staff member and all she told me was well we have to investigate. Did not take much interest or care. I paid a good amount of money to stay there i didn¿t expect this to happen.

Just stayed there this weekend for a quick trip to Disney. Staff was great (5 stars for them), but this hotel is not Marriott quality. We found a live cockroach running around in the bathroom. The shower had a constant leak. There were stains all over the floor and curtains. It’s really run down and dated. The toilets flush water vigorously upward in an odd way… don’t pay hotel fees for a gross feeling motel vibe. We were only there a short term otherwise we definitely would’ve transferred to another hotel… like Hyatt.

Not coming back to this Marriott for sure for bellow reasons :*Stains in the bathtub room 283 ( not a Marriott standard )*Set air conditioner to 69 at night it changed back automatically to 72 —it was too hot for 3 of us in the room.*The fridge doesn’t work* When called front desk at 1 am to report that fridge doesn’t work they keep on cutting me off when I explained that I don’t want anyone to enter my room midnight to see my fridge . I just needed the instructions from the housekeeping. I have to repeat at least 5 times that I don’t need anyone to enter my room at night.* The only thing I enjoyed is dinner with my family at ClaimJumper and the location.

Rooms are decent; bathrooms could use some remodeling. Parking is not free. Staff (Christina, Savannah, and one other front desk person) is super cool, except for this one guy in the morning who was kinda cringe. Good location though. Not the place to be if you want to be really close to the beach; I drove 30-45 min each way, to beaches, because traffic is so crazy out here. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

This is my 5th night here and I havent had anything but a positive experience here. The only complaint I have is that there isnt a microwave in the room. They waived the $10 a night parking fee and the staff has been very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, but they dont clean it daily. Im fine with that since I sleep during the day anyway. Ill definitely stay here again.

Friendly service, nice size pool. Clean room with a little convenient store in lobby plus a small Bistro restaurant across the lobby. My suite was comfortable with a kitchenette with a small refrigerator and microwave.The only reason I gave a 4-star is because the sofa bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on as the mattress pad was very thin.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. Room is bigger than other hotels around plus there is a balcony. It is quieter than other hotels by the highway. Good location for pretty much anything. Only issue was that they charge $10 for parking per night. They charged us just $10 for 3 nights because we complained.

It was a nice Motel, but didnt have a microwave in room come on.. thats a must.I inquire of one wanted 20.00 to have one. Why did I purchase a room. ?

Very awesome place. Room was really clean. The only problem I had with this place and why I give it a three star is because the staff there were very unorganized and very uptight. We were supposed to stay until 6pm checkout and they called us at eleven and told us we had to leave. Then before all that even happened they tried coming into our room without knocking first. Thank goodness we had the latch on or else we would have woken up to them in our room. They also made the mistake with calling my boyfriend and telling him his son was in the lobby. Come to find out, the son, was looking for a whole different family!

It was pretty okay , the air conditioning could be a bit better . The service was okay for being under quarantine. They do charge a 10$ parking fee if staying the night . We didn’t have a ice bucket in the room so we had to go to the front to the lobby to ask for one. I like how they turned on the tv and it said my name that was a pretty unique

Hotel and rooms are nice. Clean. Must wear a mask in the hallways. Due to Covid, they are not cleaning the rooms every day, so you will need to request extra towels and ice bucket.

Once I got past the $200 incidental deposit, its met my expectations for a Courtyard Marriott. It is well kept and comfortable. The inner courtyard area is relaxing. The rooms still look great.

Positive: Proximity to Knotts and the price of the room. Negative: The fold-out mattress was lacking. We had to ask for additional towels to accommodate four people. We also had to ask for bedding to place on the fold-out sofa. We then had to ask again for more pillows.

Excellent size rooms and very clean bedding, towels,and room. I had a room with a king size bed and the sofabed. It does have a patio door to get some fresh air and it had an AC and heating unit in the room. The bathroom had a nice shower head with good pressure and 4 different spray settings. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful when the TV get signal and they helped change my room to one with a working TV. Additionally, they have Netflix included with the TV if you want to login for your account. I like that they also have a laundry room and ice vending machine here. Nice layout and design of the hotel. The rooms have a mini fridge in them, but no microwave. Microwave is available in downstairs lobby area. Nice hotel staff to help check in and check out. Thank you to all the workers here for doing a great job. 😊🌼

A very clean nice Hotel at a great price!

Hotel was clean and staff was courteous. Unfortunately nearly all extra amenities were closed because of COVID-19. (Coffee and breakfast, bar, kitchen, pool and deck, etc.) I was able and encouraged to sit in the open courtyard area and able to use the fire pit in the evening. Will absolutely stay another time when attractions are open again.

Staff is friendly, recommended things in the area. Stayed for a few nights to visit some local attractions. Parking can be only available in the rear if you return late so unload when you get there. Stayed in a suite with two queen beds, perfect for a family if you need to put the little ones to bed and still want to have some time up to get ready for the next day. On this trip we stayed in 6 different hotels from San Diego to Universal City and this was by far one of the cleanest and most comfortable. For breakfast go across the street to Portos, excellent cuban food!

Clean.take your own pillow, theirs were uncomfortable. Queen bed was not comfortable. Television in my moms room did not work, tried calling front desk twice, but no answer. Good price though.

It was old and needed an update. Ok place to stay. My problem was the shower water took well over 5 minutes to get just warm and 10 to get hot. Most of my shower was really cold. That was not great when you are in a hurry. Also the amount of water wasted is why I dropped it so much. Think of how much water is wasted daily.

Nice hotel but there was a 250 dollar security deposit that was not disclosed to me at the time of reserving a room, so I was a bit surprised when I was charged nearly 400 for the room. Hopefully there will be no issue getting my deposit back. Now I know to always ask if there is a security deposit when booking a reservation.

I recently stayed at Courtyard Anaheim Buena Park and I have a few problems with it. First, I had request to the hotel in advance that I wanted the room far from the elevator. They promised that they lock up the room for me, but when I got to the room, it was near the elevator. Second, all the stuffs that I had requested in advanced where not provided in my room. Third, there is no bar soap anywhere at the sink. I had to request for that and a few other items to be send up to my room. However, when the housekeeping come up, he only brought me the bar soap, but not the rest of the items that I had requested. Fourth, there were a bunch of dust and hairs in the bathtub when we first got to the room, which is pretty gross. Later on during the night, the water start to fill up in the tub even though nobody using it. Lastly, around 1 AM, there was suddenly a water noise outside near our balcony. I went out and see what was going on and it turned out there was a huge water leak shoot up in the sky like a waterfall. It last for about 30 mins and then it stopped, which I find very bothersome. The TV in our room also been giving us issue from time to time. It keep going off to the blank screen. Lastly, they do charge you $10 per vehicle just to park your car there. I had stayed at other Marriot hotels before and I never had all the issues mention. I will definitely not be coming back to this hotel for sure. Stay away people!!

The young lady, who checked us in on our first night and checked us out on the final morning, was delightful. She made us feel very welcome, as did the young man, who was running the diner. Our room was comfortable; and everything worked well, including the complimentary wifi. We had plenty of hangers in the closet and bathroom amenities, since theyre all in wall-mounted, pump bottles. The coffee for the little on-cup brewer was actually very tasty. Although breakfast is available in the diner, this hotel is right across the street from Portos, probably the best bakery in Southern California. So, you have options. The property has been around for quite a few years, but has been nicely renovated and well maintained. Housekeeping staff ladies are so nice. The carpeting was not very clean, but was about to be shampooed. Our only real annoyance was having to pay $10 per day for unsecured, exterior parking. Cheap for LA, but still annoying.

We were traveling with our daughter and two young grandchildren and could not have chosen a more perfect place to stay the night before going to Disneyland. The kids were delighted with the pool while the adults were pleased with the bistro and happy hour offerings. Welcoming and attentive staff.

We are staying for 2 nights unfortunately the beds are small, breakfast not included and no garage which your car will burn under the sun

I truly believe that you couldnt ask for a better hotel in this category. The staff is kind, helpful and ready to serve. The facility is impeccably clean and well maintained. This hotel would be perfect for a family vacation to the area or for business lodging. You could pay much more, but I doubt you could find much better.Highly recommended!

I was easily able to book 2 connecting rooms. We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Our rooms were great and our beds were very comfortable. The hotel is a short walking distance to Knotts Berry Farm and Medieval Times.

Place looks nice, but I felt a slap in the face when we walked into our room. it looks outdated, and realized they gave us a handicap accessible room. the room looks like they tried updating it. bathroom was disgusting. as soon as I stepped in there I found the floor was dirty. then there was a couple strands of hair. I was very disappointed so I tried ignoring it. later that night when I finally got the nerve to step into the shower, I found way more long strands of hair stuck to the shower wall. I eventually fell asleep but couldnt get myself to step door in that shower, so I asked to get moved. gladly the lady at the front desk went ahead and switched us. our new room was a lot better. so I guess you should just mention you shot want one of those wheelchair accessible rooms.

The location of this cant be beat if youre going to Knotts Berry Farm. The suite configuration options are pretty good if youre with a family or group. The desk, multiple electrical outlets and small fridge make a short stay easy. A larger fridge is probably helpful if youre staying longer so inquire about those options when you reserve. Weve stayed here multiple times and the staff has always been very friendly and helpful. There is a coffee shop in the lobby and a convenience store. Both are nice. This is the most amazing lobby for options to sit and read, watch TV, meet with a small group, have a snack or make a tower from the Tic-Tac-Toe blocks with a 5 year old.

This hotel is indeed a ngreat place to stay! The service around here is all out, and I would like to commend their staff for making it all happen. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There was construction during our stay however that did not effect the quality of stay. Parking is on-site and easy to access around the properly. Hotel lobby is very update to date, and cleanalthough i had issues with my keycard, the room was clean and comfortable. There is no internet TV available. (i.e youtube, netflix) only local stations.

We stayed at this Courtyard so that we could take advantage of its proximity to Knotts. Its a very close walk to the park, while being further away from the noise and traffic. There are plenty of restaurants that are walkable, including Medieval Times and Pirates Dinner Adventure across the street.The hotel is well-kept on the exterior with plenty of parking. The lobby, recently renovated, is modern and comfortable to sit and enjoy breakfast. While we were there, we noticed how seriously they clean the place. One wing was getting carpets shampooed. Our room was nice and clean. We had the room with separate bedroom, allowing us to stay up while the kids went to sleep. Absolutely will stay again, but I hope the mattresses are new and hopefully softer. The mattress creaked at every movement.

The main grounds, centre swimming and sunning area as well as the main lobby are very nice. The staff is very friendly and happy. Unfortunately that is where it ends.The rooms are not as nice. My room was musty and stale smelling. The shampoo provided was so harsh it seems it had eucalyptus oil in it and if it got around your eyes the oil would have a burning feeling.The TV had hardly any channels that.worked and a 1/2 litre bottle of water left in the room was an astonishing $6.

This hotel was fantastic. The room was everything we needed for 2 nights, clean, comfortable. The topper for us was the hotel staff. Everyone was extremely nice, pleasant, helpful, courteous and had a pleasant and warm smile on their face. Everyone from the clerk at the desk, to the ladies in the cafe, the hospitality service, the manager, was so nice. I highly lay recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This place never lets me down. We are always welcomed like were family. The staff give amazing suggestions for things to do that comes from their own personal experiences. Theres 2 dinner adventure theaters and Portos Bakery literally right across the street. Of course there are the major theme parks that are only a few miles away. The hotel is close to freeway access, so nothing is too far away. The rooms are modern, welcoming, friendly, and clean. I will stay here every time I have to go to Anaheim.

It was a very pleasant stay. When we checked in, we had a half an hour delay but the front desk offered us a drink while they cleaned the room. After checking in, we entered into the room, which was neat and tidy. The room had a good view of the courtyard and was very quiet. I really enjoyed this stay here.

This property is highly recommended for its great value to anyone visiting Knottsberry Farm. The park is within walking distance and there are several dining options within walking distance that will not break your budget. Robert at the front desk was extremely helpful and offered some friendly advice for our visit to Knottsberry Farm. He went out of his way to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable for the duration of our stay. He helped make sure that we got the most out of our platinum member benefits. Each night we returned from the park after a long day he gave us a warm welcome back and even addressed us by name. It is very out of the ordinary to receive this level of service from Marriott staff but we will be sure to return to this property sometime soon. Thank you Robert!

I was here for six nights traveling on business. Staying in a hotel alone is never fun. Your staff was amazing. The Bistro staff with Shawn and Kent were very entertaining and helpful with my questions. The morning breakfast staff Yida, Claudia and Steven were quick to get my breakfast prepared. Every person I encountered always had a kind hello even in just passing, The location of the hotel relative to my business location was excellent. I especially liked the very clean room and the bed. Having run a small boutique hotel for over 10 years, I notice things quickly. Great job everyone.

This Hotel is amazing its really clean the staff is friendly and professional not to mention its down the street from Knotts. I like the fact not just anyone can park in the parking lot they monitor who parks their by giving a paper display for your car dash.The Hotel is up to date and modern and they have all the conviences you might need.I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. Im coming again for my Husbands birthday.

Getting a little dated but still a good hotel. Have been staying at this hotel for years. Very convenient location when visiting Knotts Berry Farm.

I will start off by saying that the location of this hotel was in a pretty good area with little to no noises going on around. Check in was fast and easy, mainly all the staff including housekeeping I had interacted with were all very nice. The only issue I had with my stay was the horrible smoke smell in my room when I first walked in. I had to open the window and leave the room for a short period of time. Other than that, this was an OK stay.

We stayed enjoyed our stay here, my son loved how comfy the beds were. Great location being across the street from Portos and Medieval Times. We had a 40 minute drive to Universal Studios and a 30 minute drive to Huntington Beach which was convenient. Next time will have to try Knotts.

Overall, the property met our needs. We were kidless for a trip to Knotts Scary Farm. Location was perfect, room was satisfactory. Parking was good. Make sure staff is aware and appreciative of Elite members, there are a lot of options out there and loyalty goes a long way.

Needs a major investment.No privacy between adjoining rooms. Literally a half inch gap between the floor and bottom of the connecting door. I could hear my neighbor give a performance review over the phone as clearly as if he were in my room (she did great in case you were wondering!).Got the keys for my room but they intercepted me before I could get there to give me keys for a different room as the first one wasnt cleaned yet... No problem, but I had to wait outside the second room as it also wasnt cleaned yet. Rooms are dated. My keys were blanked by my phone twice like back in 2010. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. TVs have HBOgo which is cool but to access it you have to know the secret as it doesnt work unless you turn on the TV for a few minutes, turn it back on and then access it.

The Courtyard by Marriott in Anaheim is a great placeto stay. My family and I had checked into a room at different hotel. We had a horrible experience I.E. insects and holes in the bathroom ceiling. We left there and checked into the Courtyard down the street and the rest is history. The staff at the Courtyard at Anaheim were friendly and courteous. They put my family’s worry at ease. Thank you to the entire staff at The Courtyard of Anaheim We will definitely be staying here again on our vacations to Anaheim. Very Respectfully The Higareda Family

The Courtyard Marriott was conveniently located in the middle of everything that we as a couple wanted to do. From check-in the front desk concierges were very welcoming and personable. Parking was also convenient being that we parked literally right outside our room. The room itself was very clean and had everything I expected. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit to firm for my liking. The bathroom was clean but our shower had no body wash which was inconvenient because we did not bring any shower products believing the hotel would have it all. But the shampoo and conditioner were amazing; the smell of tree tea oil just calms my soul. During check-out the front desk concierges were still very personable and professional, and I absolutely loved that they never leave a stone unturned by ending conversations if there is anything else we need as guest even after checking-out. Overall for a one night stay the Courtyard Marriott was an excellent choice.

Really nice experience at the Courtyard in Buena Park. The staff was excellent and always did their best to accommodate my requests. They batted 1,000. The rooms were clean and maintained by a staff of friendly and hard working Housekeeping staff. I had occasion to do my laundry and the facility was clean and safe, I appreciated the ease. I had a few dinner meetings in the dining area. My guests and associated all commented about the food and the ambiance. Ive stayed at other Courtyards and this one feels more intimate and personal than the others. I recommend you stay here, you wont be disappointed. Sadly I had to leave after a week. But Im checking back in soon.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. When walking into our room there was a musky scent- it smelled as if a smoker was previously in our room. The smell was so awful we left the room and came back asking for a room perfume to help mask the smell. The front desk was very kind and helpful with sending up someone to spray the room... my family and I noticed the smell went away as the days passed by. Every morning we would pass by staff and the ALWAYS stopped to say hello and asked us if we needed anything. Very comforting! I give the housekeeper a 10 out of 10!!! We took our own blankets along with a few stuffed animals and the housekeepers folded each of our blankets DAILY and set our stuffed animals nicely against the hotel pillows. The detail in the cleaning, in setting out clothes aside nicely was so kind of them. Great staff!!
