We Chopped the MopMy 3 1/3 Year old finally got his 1st Hair Cut.Sad Day for Mommy.But it turned out to be amazing. He did such an amazing job. And the girl that gave him his hair cut was so patient. And she did an AMAZING JOB.The kiddos get to pick a movie they want to watch while getting cut. My son Sat in a Fire truck and watched Toy Story.Hes a handsome little thing. Take your kids. They did a phenomenal job.

I have been coming to this Buena Park location for over 8 years for both of my boys. Vanesa and her staff have always been amazing. I have seen them be very professional with all kinds of adults and children. This location has never disappointed me at all. I ask for Vanessa by appointment because she knows how I like my boys hair cut and always does a great job to my liking. They are also welcoming for walk ins but you should understand that you will be waiting and they will squeeze you in ASAP. Don’t give bad ratings because you didn’t want to wait. There is a reason why they are busy…. They do a great job. Thank you cool cuts of Buena Park and most of all Vanesa.

Just walked out of this unprofessional business. Jennifer, one of the stylists was arguing with me that I needed an appointment to have my daughters hair trimmed. Their website says that walk-ins OR appointments are welcome. When I showed her on their website that walk-ins were welcome, she continued to argue with me and had the most ignorant attitude because she couldnt apologize for being in the wrong. I really hope that this individual is reprimanded for treating customers with such disrespect. We will never set foot in this place again. I encourage any one else to go to a different location.

Need an appointment to come here. They put on a little movie for your little one to watch while they get a hair cut. Been coming here for the last 4 years. They always do a great job. Totally recommend them.

Second time here. First time was great. Lady was fast and my sons cut was done really well. Her name was Thao. Today an older lady cut his hair. Took forever and there is no fade. It looks like we buzz cut him at home. Front looks crooked. Expensive w the Covid extra charge plus tip. They don’t even clean between appointments so what’s the extra charge for? We couldn’t even pick the car my son wanted. It was one set station per stylist. I will only be back if Thao can do it, otherwise looking for a new place.

My son got a great haircut here. The woman who cut his hair did amazing even tho my son was crying and fussy. The price for his haircut was $22 dollars. Well worth it.

Ask for Tao....she is the best...my son enjoys going to get his hair cut now because he was able to develop a stylist / client relationship....she has the best fades....

It our first time,I took my 6 months old, the girl was nice,she put a movie so he would get distracted,but of course he wanted to cry and in the middle of the haircut she got a call,and she run to the phone and then was looking for something, then run to the back,then back,am sorry but my kid was scare and was gonna cry i just wanted for the hair cut to be over fas,fast, she took some time and the she went back to us,and he started crying then🤦‍♀️ she did ok in the back of his head,and I guess the sides, but in front it was not ok,he was moving of course, hes a kid but theyre supposed to be great with kids since its a haircut place for kids,so I call to reschedule and get his front fix but I decided at the end to do it myself at home,it was far from where I leave.not sure if going back,maybe with a different person.

Jennifer is great! She has a way with the kids that cannot sit still (namely, my grandchildren) and cuts were perfect for the fine hair that they have. Everyone else seems to have trouble with that and the cowlick.

Epsy helped us out with our 2 year old. His first haircut and he is a pretty fussy child with strangers so I was nervous but she did an amazing job! It is pretty expensive but she kept him calm and she was very quick about it so he wouldnt get scared. Recommend for sure. Just need to make sure to save up for it next time. I didnt go prepared for the cost. Yet, I would come again because when I cut his hair it is always a mess.

They are charging a $4 COVID cleaning fee! That’s on top of the $22 haircut price. Absolutely ridiculous because regardless of the pandemic they’re supposed to clean aren’t they? So does that mean that before the pandemic they were not cleaning properly? 🤔🤔🤔

The kids love it. It was my first time visiting this type of establishment. Wish they had a barber available to do line up after the haircuts. Good thing is they made it kids friendly by having cool seats and games while they got their haircuts. Down fall is I felt like that they rushed the haircuts. More likely I will be going back to a barber so I can get the haircut, designs and a line up at the same time. Also it would be $7.50 cheaper and feel more appreciate as a customer

I love this place. Went there for the first time about 8 months ago. Went here for the second time with my grandson who is three. Lola is the only one I will go with but the other girls are great too. For the young kids they have little cars the kids sit in and can watch any movie they want in there library. Very good with the children and the hair cuts are awesome. I recommend going if you have a young one.

I would not choose this place simply for the cost to service ratio.Yes it has three lil three seats that are conducive to our kids attention along with old gaming systems.Just not worth 20 bucks for a damn cut.

We are 100% dedicated to Espy. She does a fantastic job! Last visit Espy was out so we had Tao. She did a wonderful job as well!!! Everyone is so patient in there. Good atmosphere. Clean. Friendly. Highly recommended!!

Overpriced. 4/5 times they never cut my childs hair as Ive requested, Ive had to ask them to correct it multie times before correct. Hard to go as a walk in. Will turn you away for a walk in if its an hr and a half before closing whether there are appts. scheduled or not.Nice atmosphere for youth.

I have been taking my son to Vanessa for almost 2 years now and shes is absolutely amazing. Super patient and cut his hair exactly how i want it. I highly recommend her.

I waited over an hour for my 6 year old to get his hair braided (27$ on the price chart) (also, with how small he is she can only put 4 braids!!!!) after waiting with other parents kids screaming for an hour she gets him in the chair and says it’s double that for his very thin and actually straight easy to move with hair! 60$ for 4 braids????? I took my kids and left after telling them that’s something you say BEFORE having people with kids wait for an extended amount of time!!! Never will visit again!!!

I would like to start off with the fact the Vanessa is the best! my son is three and has autism and he always gives her a hard time and is screaming his head off , but she keeps her cool and does her thing , quickly and carefully. she always gets his hair cut style that I want correct, down to the T . (and we have tried lots of different styles combovers, also half of his head almost bald and the top half in a bun) and they have all looked great. could not say enough good things about her she is the best! I did have a bad encounter with one woman who worked there older Caucasian lady who would roll her eyes when my son would scream and pout and that was before we had his autism diagnoses I have not seen her there any more and am glad she is not there she made me feel uncomfortable and embarrassed.

Had a great experience with my son, Olga was very careful and talkative with him. She took her time to make him feel special and also by listening how we wanted his haircut. Shes AMAZING !!!

My sons hair is crazy and the ladies here always know how to fix it. Lola was patient and awesome!! There is always a stacked appointment book and plenty of walk-ins, so either make an appointment or be prepared to wait, but the wait is worth it!!

They have 3 cars available for the kids to sit in and get their hair cut. They also have regular seats. Theres a small play area for the kids. Although, theres usually nothing on the TV in the play area and the toys are pretty mismatched, still, young kids will find something to entertain themselves with. While getting their hair cut, they can watch whichever DVD they like (theres many to choose from). My sons like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Yo Gabba Gabba (they have both of those). Do yourself a favor and make an appointment. If not, youll be a walk-in and youll most likely be waiting around an hour to be seen.

The hair stylists here are extremely patient and well versed in handling kids. I dont take my children anywhere else for haircuts.

Herabol place, I got the worst hair cut ever for my son; I went there 3 times and everything was fine!Then the fourth time OMG I cant tell wt happened, she was looking somewhere else during cutting my son hair.

My son always wants his hair cut into a mohawk and every family salon & barber shop we went to could not get his hair lines straight or the length even. We walked into CoolCuts and Vanessa cut and styled the most perfect mohawk Ive ever seen, and my son has ever had. This is definitely our new go to hair salon.

Espy sucks. I asked for a comb over like mine. She seemed to just do whatever she wanted and looks nothing like mine and had to go back because it was so uneven. If its that hit and miss, might as well go to supercuts for half the price.

Doesnt matter if you make an appt, if someone is already getting a haircut you have to wait.

Went to this place with my son, set a appointment and watched the customer service totally disregard that people were waiting and two other family came in asked about the wait and instantly escorted back. Dont bother with appointments these people dont care.

Called ahead and drove 20 minutes only to be told they are closing in an hour and cant take us.
