We have had our diving board to split and the light in our spa had never worked. He will not return calls. Mr Self finally told us he would refund us if we could get someone else to repair/replace them. To date he will not pay us, what we were out. Both of these were warranted. I cannot recommend this company.

BEWARE!! DONT USE THEM. We ordered a pool Dec. 2020. And July 2021 still nothing. We moved and told them never mind. Now they want to charge me 6000.00 for a liner that has never been delivered and shipping for the pool that has never been delivered. Trying to get money to pay for her divorce and trying to rip off hard working people that they never took care of. They have done nothing from December till July the following year and threatening to go to collections and charging late fees after she emailed me a invoice on 7-11-21. 700.00 late fee on 7-20-21. What a great family business. Crooks ripping of the people in their community. So sad. Well they will be an investigation with the Attorney Generals office coming and a law suit. Do your homework before you decide to talk to them.

***DO NOT USE THEM*** I contacted him over three months ago about our hot tub needing service! He came out and looked at it and said he would be back “quickly” with the parts to fix it! However he has still not shown back up! I’ve called and texted him numerous times and the few times he has responded it’s always an excuse! Do not waste your time or money!!!

Jeff Self Pools was amazing. The job turned out better then expected. Family owned and operated business. Jeff and his sons did all the work and took great attention to detail on ever task. the office and the entire family team has been a great help during the time of install and after. Myself and my family Highly recommend them for all pool installation and service.

They have given us excellent customer service since we started using them for our pool needs. We had an issue with our pump this week that caused it to fail and just in time for the cold weather. Jeff and one of their other team members came out the same day and closed the pool down for us to keep us from having any sort of freezing issues. They carry some of the best chlorine I have used to date and their prices on their chemicals are excellent and great quality. Deborah and Dave are always both very helpful/knowledgeable when I have gone into the store with questions for balancing the chemicals or maintenance issues/questions we might have.

They are great to do business with very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra step to make sure you are happy with your pool.

Jeff Self Pools installed our pool in May 2017. We have never been happier. It was absolutely the best money we have ever spent. It is a slow process, however, the end result was well worth the wait. Jeff is on site most days, and does a ton of the work himself. He explains everything, and will come back if you dont understand things. The upkeep of the pool is surprisingly easy and cost efficient. We are extremely happy with Jeff and with our pool. We would recommend Jeff Self Pools 110%!!

Im not a review writer but I do read them ....but in this case I had to let everyone know my experience with this company.I heard about Jeff Self through word of mouth when I was deciding to put a pool in. I got 3 estimates and Jeffs was the most professional estimate that I received... he estimated it to the very penny of what the cost was and the exact work that they were going to do... just to let you know Aloha Pools never got back to me after saying they were going to come by on 3 different occasions.... just saying.When they are completed with your pool Jeff tells you everything you need to know about how to run and maintain your pool.After a year and 2 months my sand filter sprung a leak somehow and the warranty was out and the manufacturer would not replace it because of the one year warranty policy but Jeff came out to my house with a NEW sand filter and replaced it HIMSELF.... I saw him do the work... how many owners of a company will come out in 95 degree weather for an hour AND no shade to do ANYTHING??I hope this review will help others pick a trusted company to install their pool. Im glad I picked Jeff Self Pools to install my pool.... it looks great out in my back yard.

Terribly disappointed in customer service and billing. We waited weeks for a service call on our salt water cell. They show up and spent less than 5 minutes powering down our system then turned it back on. He left to check on another job in neighborhood. He came back a short time later and checked panel and said it was fixed. I went out and checked the panel myself just minutes about he left and the service light with error codes were back on. We called multiple times before we received follow up. He came back out and cleaned the cell to determine the cell is bad then priced a new cell. We opted to order a new salt cell online and installed ourselves which totally fixed the problem for half the quoted price. We received the bill in which we were charged 2 service calls and 2 trip gas charges totally $275 that didnt even fix our problem. We called to inquire about the double billing and disputed being charged for 2 services calls because this should have all been done in one visit based on the error codes. Billing stated this is how they do business and if we didnt pay we would be taken off their service list. Bad business and sure wont be using nor recommending to anyone!

I have been to the store several times and had only once had good customer service. And that one time took 2 weeks to purchase what I needed because they never return phone calls. I went by to have a pool sample tested and after standing in line for about 10 minutes, was told they couldnt do it because my name wasnt in the computer since I am a new customer for the sample testing and he couldnt add it. What kind of customer service is that?

I dont even know where to begin. They tried to charge me more than double for a service that Townley ended up doing for me. I brought in a water sample that they told me, over the phone, they could run in that day. I arrive and they couldnt run it that day because I wasnt in the system. Said they would call me on Monday with the results. They never called. These guys over charge and know little. Jeff Self himself told me If you leave your pool open all winter you dont have to worry about the chemicals. My second and third opinions told me that could damage the liner. People of saline county just know that convenience shouldnt be your deciding factor with regards to an investment like a pool. Drive a little further and get help from professionals.

Jeff, Deborah and her Dad are pleasure to deal with. They do a good job and wont do work that is not needed. If you have questions they are honest with you.

Have been by three times and called once (got the machine) to see if they sell hot tubs. Went by just now during the hours they are posted as open and they are closed. Doesnt bode well for customer service.

I went there last year and wont go back. To start off with the elderly gentleman seemed annoyed he had to answer any questions for me even though I explained I had no knowledge of how my system worked. He also basically told me my pool was crap because it was a Intex above ground. It was amazing to me though, as a woman, that when a man walked into the store his attitude changed completely. He was so helpful to him.... Thank the Lord I found Leslie... They were so helpful and didnt make me feel like a dumb woman.

Jeff Deb and Dave have all been very helpful with all my pool needs. Theyre the only ones I go to for supplies, advice, and help.

We called Jeff to repair a leaking pipe. He came out and worked on the repair, told us if if did not hold, then call him back. a couple of days later the pipe was leaking again and we called back to get him to come back out to finish the repair. After a week of waiting, I finally called back on a Friday and I was told they would contact me the 1st of the week. I was called by the wife on Tuesday and was told that it would be a couple of weeks b4 they could come back out because they were backlogged because new pool liners that they had ordered had just came in and those jobs were scheduled b4 us.They started my job and did not correct the problem and then put us on the backburner while they STARTED other jobs. Meanwhile, we cannot use our pool and they expected us to wait 3 weeks for them to complete the job they had failed to correct in the first place
