The check engine light came on in my Dodge Journey. There was a knocking sound in the engine, but it started and ran just fine. I dropped the vehicle off for them to look at. They later called me to tell me that their diagnostic machine was showing a misfire and advised that it needed spark plugs and the ignition coil replaced. They said that it would be 576 dollars so I told them to do the work. They later called and said that they did the work but it did not fix the problem. They said that it is likely a lifter arm in the engine and it would be 3,000 do 5,000 dollars to fix. I did not want to spend that much money so I told them I would pay for the work they did and pick it up. After I paid them, I went to get my vehicle and it would not start. I asked Michael to look at it and figure out what the problem was because the vehicle started and ran before they did the work on it. After several days, they let me know that it was likely due to a fuel injector, said they had a used one in the shop, and said they were going to install it. They later informed me that this did not fix the problem. I went to get my keys and Michael told me that they put a gasket set in and charged me 201 dollars. The vehicle still would not start or run so I had to have it towed from their property. I dropped off a vehicle that ran, they guessed at what the problem was, worked on it, and I was left with a vehicle that would not run. Reades Automotive used to have a pretty good reputation, but that must have been under the previous management. I would not use them unless you want to be out a lot of time and money.

This is the only place Ive ever felt comfortable taking my vehicle to. Just recently need Cam Sensor replaced and decided on a whim Id just walk-in and see if they would have the time to look at it. Well he did and even had it finished and ready to go by the end of the day. Actually they stayed 10 mins longer waiting for me! And gave us a great deal on some LED taillights before we left also! I took my van in because of a bad vibration/wobble at about 40 MPH. They stated it needed $1000 worth of work to fix the issue. When I picked up the van they said it was still doing it but was probably just a tire. I paid $1000 and it didnt fix the problem I took it in for. I took it to another mechanic and it was a bad CV axle and was fixed for $250. They did not take the time to actually try and figure out the issue just starting replacing parts they thought might be the cause, were happy to charge me $1000 not fix my issue and then send me on my way. This used to be a solid shop I took all my cars too, sadly that is no longer the case I would not recommend using them anymore.

We have been going to Reades Automotive for years for our repair needs. They have always did my repairs very well or told me where to go get them done such as to the dealership. They are Fair, Honest and Good.

They are higher priced than anyone else but they WILL have your car fixed. And you get what you pay for so if you have the money then go there if not go to somewhere you can afford or the dealership which nobody can afford so thats my opinion everybody has one

Charged me $192 for an oil change and tire rotation. Obviously they don’t want my business again.

I deliver disabled autos to these folks being a wrecker driver, they are friendly, do outstanding work on my personal vehicle and customers are pleased for they tell me so.

Please beware if you have a foreign vehicle do not take your car here. In December I had a coil replaced and after receiving my car back the water pump went out less than 100 miles later. Well, after getting water pump fixed the next day my service engine light comes on. So I take my car back to get some type of explanation and to see what the issue is. He claimed it was a misfire on cylinder 2. Now when he changed the coil on cylinder 4 he stated he swapped it with cylinder 2 coil to determine it was cylinder 4 coil which I replaced. Also, if you put it on the machine why didn’t state it then? The dude Micheal that is running the shop didn’t even know where to plug in the device to read the code. He’s all up under the dashboard when it’s right by the hood and trunk release soon as you open the drives door. I haven’t driven over a 1,000 miles since I first took my car in December. I’m disabled so I don’t drive my car much. Also, people buy your own parts so you can have a warranty on it instead of a 6 month labor/part warranty. Lastly, he told me that it would cost $55 dollars to get my car towed when he charged me $65. Bring Bradley back or close shop. You will not be getting my service ever and I will be notifying the BBB.

I had the best experience of my life (mechanically speaking) today at this Family run shop today. The owner met me in the parking lot, listened to my issue, quoted a price and then fixed it himself!! I have spent a total of $6800.00 on two vehicles to be repaired with this company. One was installing a motor, they did not return the old motor to the company resulting in losing the core charge. Now less than 3 months later the rear main seal is leaking and they claim the labor is not guaranteed. Also took one in for overheating around the same time, and you guessed it, still overheating. If your looking for an honest mechanic I would recommend you look elsewhere.

On 10/1/18 We stopped by needing someone to open our hood (damaged) so driver could check fluids. We were not scheduled but did call ahead. They quickly got a tech on our issue and when it was time to settle up they simply wished my driver a good day and a handshake. Driver reported they were very friendly and obviously helpful. They will be going down in my book as the only repair shop we use in the area if we ever find ourselves there again having troubles. AAA Transport LLC
