Best dental experience I have ever had.Before scheduling with them, I called around to a few different places to figure out where I wanted to go. I decided to make an appointment with them because their scheduling process was quick and simple. They got me in really fast. And, unlike anywhere else, asked me if I had any previous X-rays I could have transferred over to them (I hadn’t even THOUGHT about that!!) and it ended up saving me quite a bit of money. I appreciated the upfront honesty and willingness to work with me.The appointment itself was excellent! The staff is super friendly and the office is very peaceful. Plus, Lexi at the front desk is AWESOME!

What a wonderful organization! My 95 year old mother-new to the area-lost a filling. Rivers Dentistry had her in for the filling replacement in less than 24 hours after my call. They were incredible from check in to service to billing. Five stars isn’t indicative of their quality of their practice; I’d add more!

I have extreme dental anxiety. I went to the office in tears, but everybody who works there is so kind. Jessica and Dr Raj were so patient and gentle that the visit was actually pleasant. I had a tooth extracted and it was painless! Previously I had a horrid experience getting a tooth pulled with a different dentist at another location. Dr Raj took time explaining everything to me, and we made a treatment plan to care for my other teeth before they become painful. If you have a dental phobia this is the place for you! They will take the time to make you as comfortable as possible.

After finding a suspicious looking spot in my mouth. I looked on line for a DDS that was very familiar with early warning signs for oral cancer. When I spoke with the receptionist she was very kind and shared my concerns. I got an appointment right away. Dr. Rivers exam was very thorough, she explained, clearly, her concerns and referred me to a specialist for further treatment. Hello Im Carlos 31 well I went to this place about 4 years ago because of a pain I had and charged me around $350 for a x-ray and a cap or filling I payed $200 cash and the rest in payments blessed them. But than I felt the same pain later on but at diffrent times . So I went back and took me other x-rays and told me that I needed a root canal and charged me another $100 I was not going to pay that it was their fault. But I had high blood pressure so they could not do surgery. So 3 years passed and I went back to the same one they said it was going to be $1000 so I said can I pay $500 in cash and rest in payments and they denied me so I do not suggest yall go here cuz they do not care as much for the patients as they claim they Do.

Got me in on an emergency dental appointment on the same day I called due to gum pain. Got the issue resolved and received some great information. Definitely recommend.

From the phone conversation when scheduling my appointment to the actual office visit, it was fantastic. Never did I feel rushed. Very detailed and informative. Everyone I encountered was helpful. The atmosphere there is one of the best. I kinda did a test run to see if they would be a good fit for my family as well. They will definitely will be hearing back from us in the future.

Dr. Rivers is just amazing! If you are looking for a dentist who really cares, really listens, gets to know you and does amazing work for a fair price she is definitely the cream of the crop. She’s honest and does her very best to prioritize your needs and give you the best treatment possible. I don’t have insurance and am so thankful they honor care credit. She knows I’m financially strapped and can only do so much at a time. She goes above and beyond to make sure you are fully numb before any procedure and if you come in, in pain she does her best to get you pain free as soon as possible. I am a very anxious patient who in the past has loathed going to the dentist until I met Dr Rivers. And let’s not forget her staff! Her assistants and office manager (Phillip) do their very best to accommodate every need! Definitely 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and I recommend them for all your dental needs!

Dr. Smith was the best dentist I could have gone to to get my wisdom tooth removed. He was kind and considerate when it came to my pain levels, and was very funny so it passed the time quickly - especially on a Monday morning. I literally got my tooth pulled out within 30 minutes (I was pressed on time) and he managed to explain everything very thoroughly. Definitely recommend.

I love this practice. Dr. Rivers is amazing and the entire staff is attentive and kind. I used to really dislike going to the dentist, but now I go regularly without any anxiety thanks to Dr. Rivers’ fantastic bedside manner. She even cares for all four of my children and makes going to the dentist a fun and educational trip for them. We will never go anywhere else for care.

Dr Rivers office is amazing. The moment we walked in they catered to my toddler daughter and brought her books. The receptionist was amazing, sweetest man ever. They worked with us on payment and did exactly what we requested. The best dentist in this county for sure!! They made our Christmas wonderful by fitting us in so my husband didn’t have to miss out on the festivities or the traditions we are teaching our daughter about Christmas. My experience here was fantastic. I suffered from sensitivity to hot and cold food and drink for over two weeks before finally deciding to visit the dentist. I was very fortunate to be able to schedule an appointment to diagnose the problem on the same day I called. After determining that I needed a root canal, Dr. Rivers offered me the option to perform the procedure right away ! The procedure was painless and I wasn’t in any discomfort after the effects of the anesthesia wore off, which was vastly different from my last visit to a different dentistry. I was shown pictures of the infected tooth before, during and after the procedure and Dr. Rivers took the time to explain the differences between the three.Dr. Rivers and Emily were very kind and considerate. Their cheerful demeanor during the root canal procedure put me at ease. Dr. Rivers also called me the following day to check up on me, which pleasantly surprised me.I highly recommend !

Dr. Rivers and Dr. Smith are both great doctors! I have had horrible dental experiences that have always seemed to leave me with pain when there had been none to begin with, so I began avoiding the dentist until I could no longer do so. I tried a couple dentist and continued to have bad experiences, but when I stumbled upon Dr. Rivers she was able to change my perception and make it an experience to remember in only good ways. I no longer fear dental visits at all. Her staff and the other doctor, Dr. Smith, are all so amazing and kind. They always answer all my questions and give detailed accounts of everything happening to put me at ease, and the biggest thing is that I am NEVER in any pain during or after my visits which is absolutely amazing for me!!! I adore Dr. Rivers and am so grateful for her and her staff! I would’ve ended up with dentures in time I’m sure had I not found this office. My fears have dissipated, and my mouth is healthy thanks to Dr. Rivers. I love this place!!!

I just went in for a cleaning. First off, my insurance is notoriously difficult to work with, and most places wont deal with them. The lady who handles that sort of thing was assertive, and friendly enough to power through the red tape, and get my dental visit paid for upfront; this never happens. The dental hygienist was competent, thorough, and had a light touch. She had great feedback for me; and on a side note, she is very pretty. The doctor was friendly, and thorough as well. I rarely need any additional attention besides the cleaning, and I am very happy that the doctor did not try to sell me unnecessary procedures, which I find to be all to common in my travels. My overall impression was a pleasant one. If youre unsure where to take your dental business, Rivers Family is a good place.

Their team does their best to maximize your benefits and offers an alternative financial solution if needed. By far the best dentist I have found in the area. I called Dr. Rivers office today and spoke with Cherie. I asked if they were in network with Guardian insurance. She then had what I believe is a scripted response. She told me they work with all insurances. Unfortunately working with all insurances is not the same as being in network. For in network providers my insurance covers 100% for preventive care. For providers that are not in network I would have had a portion of the bill that would have been patient responsibility. Rivers Family Dentistry tried to pull a fast one over on me. What is most disturbing is that this is a college town and young people are learning the hard way. Beware of this practice!

Called today 1-14 in the morning and was going to book an appointment as a new patient but guy who answered the phone and said he was the receptionist was super mean on the phone - def not a welcoming feeling, made me feel more like I was an annoyance for asking questions. Will check around for other places in town first. Heard great things about this place but my first impression did not match the good reviews of my friends who recommended.

Same day service when I called with a cavity issue. Took insurance info over the phone which allowed me to know at the start of my visit what my eligibility for services would be.
