My son was receiving poor assessments and being told he would be held back at the beginning of kindergarten. After approaching Marianne and the staff at Sylvan in BCS she felt confident that we could get him caught up. He attended regularly throughout the school year and at the end of the year on his Iowa tests he scored in the high/above average percentiles and met all the marks that he needed to! So thankful we did this!

I cant say enough about Sylvan Learning Center in Bryan/College Station! With the ongoing pandemic and the switch to online learning at the high school, Sylvan has been instrumental in providing support for my high school senior. When schools went online, Sylvan moved immediately to Zoom classes and never missed a beat. The instructors who work with my son have been engaged and helpful every step of the way. They have helped him set goals and manage his time while supporting him with his assignments. While we have been very pleased with Sylvan for the past three years-I have been VERY impressed recently on how they continue to support students through this difficult time. Ms. Mariana and her staff are very committed to helping students every step of the way!

My son started coming here in March 2018. He has enjoyed it from the beginning and always looks forward to coming. The progress that he has made in a little over 3 months is incredible. I can also see his confidence in himself has greatly improved and he no longer states that he hates reading. Sylvan has done wonders for him. The staff and teachers are also excellent!

With schools closed because of covid, my child needs Sylvan more than ever. Sylvan teachers make the ZOOM classes fun and educational.

Sylvan is awesome! When I brought my daughter to them she was below average in her algebra, in less than one month she brought that grade up to an 86! She loves the teachers, she said they explain things to where she gets it! This is the best thing Ive ever done for my daughter and if you have a child who is struggling, I recommend you try them, I think you will be happy you did.

LaWren and her team are wonderful! My daughter took an advanced reading course and thoroughly loved each of the teachers and looked forward to going to her bi-weekly classes. As an educator for almost 20 years, I vowed that none of the children in my family would fall behind on my watch. One of my visiting nieces from New York needed to continue working on her reading muscle so that all of her hard work was not wasted and she wasnt behind when she returned home from summer vacation. LaWren, Mariana, and Anthonette took such wonderful care of us. Finley flourished under their supervision and love. She made amazing progress in such a short time. Thank you, ladies. Sylvan in College Station has been instrumental in our childrens academic progress. In 9 months we saw them jump 2 grade levels in school. We cant recommend them highly enough.

My daughter has attended Sylvabnbas going on her 3rd month of attending Sylvans. Before she started her classes at Sylvans she absolutely hated to read. Nothing seemedd to motivate her until now.... What has impressed me the most is when she reads and quite doesnt understand a word she is reading she will stop, pull out her little notebook, write the word down and then look up its definition to understand that words meaning.

We love Sylvan! I struggled so much with getting my kids to engage with math concepts as we homeschooled, so I was very nervous about them keeping up when they transitioned into public school. My oldest daughter loved going to Sylvan, she always looked forward to it and left with a big smile on her face. I cried tears of joy when she proudly handed me her report card that was almost all As! Well definitely be back if and when we find ourselves struggling again.
