The customer service from the gentleman who helped my daughter was amazing. She had her car impounded and even at midnight, he let her call back & forth to me to help get all she needed to get her car out. By the time it was done it was 1:30am.

My car had an issue that got my stuck on the side of road before a storm. Excel handled my towing situation seamlessly. Yessica was very helpful, took my information and, gave me an affordable rate that saved me from calling around. She sent a tow truck right away. Colt was the driver that took care of my car and suggested some helpful tips for my insurance. Amazing service from both of them, I will definitely be contacting Excel for any future towing services that our business needs.

I was eating at Taco Bell on University. Towed my dads truck for the 5 minutes that I was in there. We were paying customer so sad that a tow truck would do this and leave my dad and I stranded. Charged my day 294.00 that we never got reimbursed for. They will get their karma! Please do not use this towing company. They are rude and don’t care what the aftermath is!

This place a piece of dump. Towed my vehicle when it was parked in a public place, where I was eating with my son. Charged me 300 for 30 minutes that they towed my truck. When in there to pay and it smelled horrible!There sign stated fake statements.They are crooks and money hungry. So sad that towing companies have to do this to keep their business going!!!!I would not recommend at all!!!!!!!!

I needed my vehicle towed home and the lady was friendly on the phone. The driver was also friendly and quick. Excel towing arrived within 10 mins. Another company told me 2 hrs which was ridiculous. Thank you Excell for providing excellent customer service skills.

So. My Drive shaft broke in my big rig. Right in the middle of town. And excel towing showed up way sooner than usual towing services. And I was meeted with a smile and immediate help with experienced knowledge to find out what was wrong. And then Mr. MARVIN. Had great social skills, and was courteous on the ride to the shop. Once at the shop. Let me tell u this man can back up a double set. Like he been doing it his whole life.I say. He needs a raise. Even if it isnt a huge raise. Reluctant to give this place one star because they deserve 0. I would rather be run over than have my car towed here. PLEASE pray you never have to deal with this place, and if you dont believe in a higher power, rethink your options. With bullet proof glass, locked doors, and no one allowed onto the property with me, I thought I might be kidnapped from inside of their office. The representative was not professional; she did not give me her name, was not nice, and did not explain any of the car charges to me. They made my young female roommate stand on the porch instead of allowing her in the office with me. For reference their office is the building pictured.

Hello my name is Alan Yarborough and EXCEL towing recently towed my car. I believe this was an act of profiling and discrimination based of the fact there were a lot of other cars that were parked illegally that were no towed. My car is a 1998 grand marquis, all of the other cars were newer and way nicer. I believe they picked my car and figured that i wouldn’t be able to afford to pick it up immediately, and that they would end up making more money since they charge you everyday you don’t pick up your vehicle, Also my wheel was locked and my car was locked when i picked up my vehicle which is strange because my remote is broken and i never lock my car or lock my wheel. It is obvious the tow driver entered my car illegally. If anyone reading this is in the legal system and could help me take this to court my email address is [email protected]

We needed a fifth wheel trailer towed and excel towing was the only place in Bryan that could get the job done! They did an amazing job, the secretary Jessica was extremely helpful and patient. And the truck driver Marvin did a great job getting the trailer back to us and helped set it up before he left!

As a business manager I would say they do a great job. They are hard working, prompt to come to the site and always answer the phone making sure to give updates if delays pop up.As a individual I have used them before when a vehicle was high-centered over a culvert, slowly slipping into a pond. Again, in this situation they were prompt and professional.It is hard to read and write reviews for tow truck companies. Of course if you are going to pick your vehicle up from them after wrongfully parking you are not going to leave a great review, but as a business manager I have worked with other tow companies and can say that in terms of professionalism and ethics Excel is one of the best. Hopefully other companies in the college station area adopt some of their business practices.

The emotion after initially getting a car towed aside, excel towing made the process of reclaiming my vehicle painless. They acted professionally and handled the situation with care. This towing company is great. I had a truck and trailer break down in the middle of nowhere. They got to me in less than an hour. Rates were more than fair as well. Great drivers. I highly recommend them.

The lady in the office was very rude . I had a few questions after a drunk driver hit my daughters car & was towed . Not even in a nice way did she tell me how to go about getting personal items. The insurance company advised me to leave the car there 🙄 However, I will say the gentlemen who answered in the early morning hours was very kind and helpful .

Our daughter had a horrible experience with this tow company. Not only are the office staff rude, they yell at people. If despicable treatment of customers isnt bad enough, they also add bogus charges to your bill and wont release your car until you pay said charges. Her car was on their lot (NOT impounded, although they charged for that) for about 24 hours, and they made her pay $425 before theyd release it. Then they tried to take a $15 tip (their words) so they wouldnt have to give change for paying in $20 bills. Dont be fooled by the GIG EMs they leave in their replies to negative reviews - these people possess ZERO Aggie spirit and know nothing of the Code of Honor. :(_______Response to owner:The fact remains that our daughter was quoted $185 to tow and $20/day storage by your driver. How does that equate to the $425 that you forced her to pay? Why do your staff yell at people? Why did you charge her for an additional day when your receipt shows you released the car just 16 minutes beyond the 24-hour mark? Why not offer to give her change later during business hours instead of helping yourself to a tip? She drove directly to your location once she got off work after midnight to try to avoid accruing extra fees, and yet this is how you treated her.Treating people with rudeness and inflating charges while theyre experiencing a crisis is disdainful. They made the injured person enter the facility by herself that she had many bruises from the injury. Their excuse was COVİD pandemic but all these precautions were supposedly for human health. I hope nobody from the company experience the similar thing in their life.

The service was friendly, however when I went to get my stuff I found they took the strap off of my truck and it got rained inside while it was there. Friendly service though, and the drivers were helpful the day of the accident.

I’m thoroughly impressed with excel towing. My battery on my car died and I was late getting back to A&M for a class so I was frustrated and a bit impatient to the driver . Despite that he was extremely respectful and went out his way to get there quick to help me out . This my second time using them and the experience is always grand. 2014 Tacoma Express Towing saved me! 20 a day unfortunately I was locked up... I had a fully loaded bed of tools. They put a tarp over the bed to protect my tools from the weather! Wonderful service my man!

Stephen and Max were exceptionally helpful. We had a guest coming from Burleson to Sugar Land when her alternator malfunctioned and she was stranded in College Station. Not only did they tow her to the auto mechanic who was closed but they waited with her for two hours until I got to College Station from Sugar Land at 8:35pm. That type of professionalism and care for customers is extraordinary.

Super nice guys. Owner was great and went above and beyond to get me home and my truck to shop the next day. If I ever need another tow they will be first I call. Thanks guys yall were great.

I had an easy experience with Excel Towing. After my accident, I was able to retrieve my belongings from my car multiple times with no problem. The office ladies were explanatory and helpful. I like that the fire stations use this one as well.

I’m giveing excel a 5 * Jeremy was my driver today and he was awesome! I had called“college station family towing” at 8 in the morning and they said they’d be there in 45 min let’s just say they NEVER showed. I called A1 and they said it would take them 2 hours to get to me. So I called Excel they said they’d be there in 30 min and they were there in 15! I can not say how much I appreciate the help. I was in a car accident in December of 2015. The people there were friendly and helped me with the process of what to do with my totaled car and that basically I had to sign it over to the insurance agent, which helped me a lot. Absolute worst business ever! Discrimination is used, very rude people and lie about everything. Young lady behind the desk is very rude and disrespectful.

I had a large delivery van stuck out on a county road. The van was in an awkward position on a muddy culvert and could have easily slid or flipped on its side if it fell. It was so bad, some of the locals speculated it would take heavy machinery to successfully remove the van from the culvert.Marvin from Excel Towing came out, assessed the situation, and quickly came up with a solution. He was able to winch the van out safely with no damage whatsoever to my vehicle. I was truly impressed with the job. I fully recommend Excel Towing to any one needing a tow or winch out. They are fast, professional, and, most of all, they took great care of my vehicle.

So after calling several tow companies with no answer, all claiming to be open 24 hours a day, Stephen picked up and was so super helpful. It was freezing outside so he said he would call me when he was on the way, and I could meet him there. When I got there I thought I would have to wait, but he already had the car loaded up! He was friendly and cutrtious and the the exchange was the exact opposite of any experience I’ve ever had with a towing company! After a bad wreck yesterday i was recommended excel towing and Stephen helped me a ton! He was friendly and really helped me stay calm in a bad situation and even gave me a lift to a coffee shop after dropping off my car so i could meet up with friends. He turned an understandably bad time to a great experience just with his customer service!

Just know the towing company also has google reviews. I will make up the comments for two services before. The first time is at highway TX21 at weekend. My tyre explored and call Excel Towing. They were fast and towed my car to discount tire. For the 2nd time, my car cannot start around 10pm. I called them again and they towed to the repair station. In all, fast and nice at non-working time.

Our Jeep had a fuse/electrical problem . We called early in the morning to get our vehicle in right when our mechanic opened. Kevin came right away and was a big help for us. He was very nice, respectful, and apologetic for our situation. They have scuzzy loser spotters at the Taco Nasty Bell on University. Towing company said they split money with the Taco Bell. We parked car and walked across the street for less than FIVE minutes and came out. Car was towed. They must have made over $5000 on move in day. I hope Karma catches up with these scuzzy losers. Making so much money on kids and families on move in day at A&M. You should be ashamed of your low life selves. Wait til your sweet WT kids go to college and someone ruins your first day in CS.

Charged me about $300 to tow my vehicle a few miles, horrendous customer service, they even called me threatening to sue me if I dont take this review down, horrible company, Avoid! Worst towing experience ever!!! I will never do business with them again and I advise you to do the same. Please dont support these crooks or any company who charges these prices for a simple tow. RUDEST MOST PRETENTION OFFICE STAFF EVER!!!! I would not recommend this towing service to anyone. I was involved in a collision which they were dispatched to. The nicest wrecker driver set me up for the best experience. Much to my surprise hours later when I returned to collect my things from my vehicle the office staff was not only rude to me but to their own employees that were monitoring me removing my things from my vehicle. I was sad to learn that insurance companies and law enforcement officers are treated with the same lack of respect.

Honestly, these people are so pretentious, they act like they are doing you a huge service when they give you, your car back. They literally take pride in towing the cars of already struggling college students and racking up a $300 charge. (Which is absurd for the market value by the way). The people in the front office were nice I guess, although it took about forever and a half just to get the car out of the lot. I mean yes, parking in an illegal spot is one thing, and I guess they are just doing their job. And the apartment is just as guilty for preying on people like that. But then again the people who collected taxes during biblical times were just doing there job. Oh we were also only parked there for like 10 minutes.And I cant wait for the Botted response from the owner. You cant appreciate the frustration. Ive had two experiences with this company: one for a wreck I was in and one for a wreck my mother-in-law was in. In both cases, I had to retrieve things from the car. In both cases, the lady at the front desk was kind, helpful and accommodating. In both cases, the men who escorted me to the back to retrieve the items were courteous and helpful. I am amazed by the customer service. Dont want to have to use them ever again LOL but am glad that if I do, I know I can expect nice people!

Excel Towing: driving business away from Northgate area with dubious and predatory business model.I parked my car at the Taco Bell parking spot which says for customers only. Since it is not specified that this includes Taco Bell customers only, I was under the impression that customers referred to customers of the Northgate area (i.e. all businesses there, such as McDonalds, CVS etc.). A mistake, because the tower apparently spotted me going to CVS and immediately towed my car within less than 5 minutes. I understand that you have to protect parking spots for businesses, otherwise all students would just park there. I actually applaud towing vehicles from parking spots where they do not belong, such as vehicles on disabled parking spots etc. (which is plenty happening in BCS). I also understand that people need to make a living and provide for their families. However, this appears completely unreasonable to me and a more than dubious and predatory business model on both ends, Excel Towing and Taco Bell. I am also not the only one this happened to (see other google reviews).I already spread the word amongst my friends and co-workers. Vote with you money and dont use Excel Towing or go to Taco Bell at North Gate! Your vehicle might not be safe there if you want to visit multiple venues at that area, but you get spotted by somebody from either venue.

Towed my car, while.that is not their fault, they were doing their job, i was not notified when my car got taken so i called the police thinking it had been stolen, i was not warned at all, it was just gone all of a sudden. the man was kind of rude. and the building is in horrendous condition. it STINKS inside, i had to go bathe cuz i felt i stank from just standing inside, and the whole building(where i was allowed to go anyway) looks to be in advanced stages of disrepair. had to pay 168.30 for a tow that i had no knowledge/warning of, and to whoever the rude guy was, YOU need to go look around that parkinglot. because i did and there were 3 total signs in the entire damn place. and NONE stating they enforced the entire parkinglot(all 3 sections)none around where i parked that pertained to the space that my car had occupied for 3 hours. i made sure to document all the signs and where i parked real well.

Due to an electrical problem, my Chevrolet 3500 truck would not start while I was in a Kroger parking lot in Bryan. My diesel mechanic Hearne area kid uses Excel Towing and called them. The driver was actually right there in the same parking lot at the very same time and just magically appeared, smoothly loaded my truck and took it to my requested Chevrolet dealer in Hearne. This entire serendipitous tow experience made for access to a quick repair and back on the road toward California pulling my horse trailer. This actually happened April, 2016, but the electrical problem repeated this week so I called Excel to get a copy of my towing invoice because the prior repairs should have been done under warranty. Sonya was efficient in giving Lorie my request, who then immediately emailed what I needed and followed-up with a call to be sure the info was received. The entire service could not have been more efficient, organized or caring about my needs so I would have to say they EXCEL ! You can bet I will call them in a future need.

My vehicle was towed for parking in a no parking on a public roadway, and I accepted that and paid the fees. However, my vehicle was subsequently damaged by Excel towing, AKA Vilo Enterprises, LLC. owned by Vince Court, President, during this process. When I contacted the owner, Vince Court in reference to the damage, I was immediately met with denial, refusal and subsequently him ignoring my calls. I went to TDLR, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, where a public search showed his insurance carrier to be Farmers Insurance. I then filed a claim with Farmers against Excel Towing, where Vince continued to deny the damage. At the scene of the tow, a Police Officer took pictures, documenting that there was NO damage to the vehicle before towing, and my pictures taken at his storage lot with large amounts of new damage. Farmers Insurance concluded that Excel Towing did damage my vehicle and claimed responsibility for their client. However, Excel Towing does not have rental coverage and I was out the cost of getting a rental for the time my vehicle was being repaired. This will be decided later in Civil Court, as I am also having to miss work, which was overtime for me. This has and will cost me quite a bit of money now, and time missed from work, but I am confident I will prevail in the Civil Suit. For those that have had issues with Excel Towing, if your vehicle was towed in the City of College Station, and especially the horrible customer service and rudeness when they speak to you on the phone, contact the College Station Police Department, Sgt. Shelton, and City Hall, to file a complaint. Also, complaints could be directed to the City of College Station City Managers Office. They have a Contract with the City of College Station that is set to expire and the City of College Station does not need to be represented by such a business that has zero skills in the area of customer service, or damages individuals personal property and then hangs up on the customer when he calls to inquire about it.

My vehicle was towed to this lot about 2 weeks ago and after the vehicle was towed to the body shop their were items missing from the trunk of the vehicle so I called and no one seems to know anything about it!!!Not real happy with this place!!!If anyone else has had this problem with Excel Towing please let me know.

Broke down on Hwy 6 near Navasota and they were out there within 30 minutes to tow back to Bryan.

Horrible experience, especially after dealing with an already horrible car accident. It makes no difference to them why you are there. Towed from a bad car wreck or towed for a parking violation, all they are obviously concerned with is $$$.
