What an amazing day! Alice was ready to go when we got there, provided the correct gear and instruction for our mixed ability group, and led us on a fun paddle on Casco Bay. Winds were up out of the NW (unusual for this time of year), but Alice made course adjustments and provide a safe and enjoyable trip for my whole family. Plus, she took tons of a great pictures! We all had a great time. As a Registered Maine Guide I dont recommend tours lightly, but I highly recommend Alice and look forward to returning another day.

I have taken tours all over the world and our tour with Alice to Malaga island is by far my favorite and most meaningful. I highly recommend the longer version of this tour which includes a kayak trip and hike along a trail that winds all the way around the island. It is a hidden gem with a painful but important past worth knowing. Our kayak trip was blessed with beautiful sunny weather and calm seas. Alice has a deep understanding of the island’s history as well as the local plants and animals. She brought lunch which included the absolute best apple brownies which in true Mainer fashion, the apples were picked fresh from her tree. She also brought a number of refreshments and when I asked if she had any teas from Maine she didn’t miss a beat and took me to pick fresh hemlock pines and bay leaf to brew on the spot. She made sure our feet stayed dry the WHOLE time thanks to her understanding of not just the behavior of the tides but also how to get in and out of a kayak in any situation. She took many pictures which turned out really great and was an unexpected perk. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and know exactly who we will be using on our next Maine adventure.

Fantastic day! Alice went above & beyond to help make a 50th birthday celebration AWESOME - balloons tied to the kayak, noise makers, great weather and company. Cant wait to do this again.
