Great place for all your lawnmower needs

Very unprofessional! Took lawnmower in for repair was told two weeks later after I called that it was a fuel pump and a bad fuel line and I said ok go ahead and fix it called bk 2weeks later and was told needs a carburetor I was cool about it he tells me $220 Ill have it ready by end of week then he finally calls me to tell me thats its $350 because he had to put a starter on it he never calls and say it needed but calls me to tell me its ready with a 350 bill ! Never will do business with them again!!!

I bought a Snapper 42 inch from Ted about 5 years ago; I have beat the brakes off of it; changed the oil and blades every year myself; but pulled it out last week and it needed a good once over...twice. Great price for all that was done and needed doing. Snappers are good homeowner mowers and Ted gets it right. Thanks Ted. The Catfish.

Very good to deal with. They have repaired several pieces of lawn equipment for me. They also were able to give me very good recommendations on some equipment. Well worth the trip from SSI.

I took my mower to Hogarts for an annual service and an issue I was having with the steering. Both these were fixed but when I went to pick up the mower the technician told me the key was left on by a fellow service tech and I would probably need a new battery. The owner was reluctant to admit the mistake but did charge my battery and instructed me it was probably an issue with my ignition system which has never happened with this mower. When I installed the charged battery it wouldnt start my mower. I called the owner and asked them to replace the battery. At this point he told me the mower was received with a low charge which couldnt be true because Hogarts staff started the mower and unloaded the mower from my trailer. After telling the owner I had no other recourse here but to do everything I could to get this information out to as many people as possible so they would know the exceptionally poor service I received the owner HUNG UP ON ME! Who does that? I called him back and told him he was acting like a child and I expected restitution in the form of a new battery. He said the only recourse I had was to replace the battery because it was already 2 years old and they only offer warranty of 6 months on batteries. This place is dirty, the owner is a NOT professional (childish), and no one should ever do business here. I know I wont and Im making it my daily chore to spread this message as much as possible.

My riding lawnmower (circa 2001) needed repairs. I took it to Hogarths and was treated like family. I spent about an hour just meeting the crew thats there. We talked how the mower needed to be treated differently than being in New Jersey (sand/dew etc.).When I got it back it looked like it was almost new. The repair costs were reasonable.I recommend Hogarths for lawn mower repair. I will return back to them.

Took my riding lawnmower in for a spindle assembly replacement the owner calls me a week later says its ready for pickup he tells me 357.00 because he had to replace the other spindle assembly and it needed blades and other work he never called me to authorize this other work say he got to busy to call me a 136.00 bill went to 357.00 will never do business with him again he has been reported to the BBBby me
