Non existent would be the best word to use describing the customer service. I’ve left numerous messages for two weeks plus. They never answer or call back. Their website does not work to forward a very important package. I live in a community full of people looking for professional companies to forward from the US to Mexico. It won’t be this company!!

The good things: Im not paying a monthly fee for a service I dont use often. Im not walking to the mailbox office in my small Mexican town to pick up packages. My package arrived in a reasonable amount of time and in good condition.The bad things: I had to reach out to customer service to get my store credit purchase (through PayPal) credited to my America Ship account.There are no understandable instructions for a first time user.You cant fill out your shipment request ahead of time and save it until your package arrives in Texas. This should be made very clear as I spent a lot of time creating an invoice in the acceptable format and entering all the line items in my customs declaration. Then there was no option to save! I lost all that work except for the invoice, which I had saved.My package arrived and I entered all the customs information again using the app. I needed to use another app and figured America Ship app would come back where I left off. Nope! Had to enter yet again. One more time. My fumble fingers accidentally touched a wrong place and I was out of the app again. Yet another time entering my 14 line items. Theres no Save option. I wont even start on the app interface.On top of everything, I immediately wrote to customer service about my poor experience. Ive yet to hear back. Not even a sorry for the inconvenience!5 stars for the great shipping advantages. 1 star for customer interface. Averages out to the 3 I gave. I d give a 0 for customer interface, but they did get my shipping credit applied as soon as I made contact.

I have been very pleased with the shipping service from American Ships. I am notified promptly when packages arrive. The portal to request shipping is straightforward and easy to use. Once payment is paid my package arrives at my home within two days.

Overall - this is a good company, Ive done 6 orders with them with 10-23 items in an order. Lately though - every order I have placed has been missing at least 1 item and I let them know - I feel that something is wrong with a lack of organisation on their part. The previous order it took them over 2 weeks to even address my concern of my missing item - but finally they found the product and sent it on; 2 weeks was too long to wait for their response after sending 2 emails, 2 support tickets and calling them leaving a message. I also asked that they count the items in this delivery to make sure it was all there and for about the 3rd or 4th time, an item is missing. But so far, eventually they send on the missing item. Usually the order gets here within 5-7 days of payment which is good. But, rather than being a good company - they have potential to be a great company. Maybe they are understaffed? They have a system that seems to be working alright. Most operations are online which is good. But absolutely no customer service mechanism. You can open ticket which will be answered in a few days.

My items from various US vendors were consolidated and sent to me in a timely manner. The only issue I encountered is that I ordered six cans of coconut milk and all were dented. There was some paper cushion in the box which contained the cans but a better bubble wrap job may have helped. I am also not sure as I this is the first time I have ever received canned goods by mail. This could have also happened coming from Amazon to America Ship. Anyway, America Ship clearly communicates where your goods every step of the way. Many thanks!

My package made it through customs without extra charges, as promised, and I received the package! I am pleased with America Ship and the employees I have dealt with. I find them human and helpful.

The last two packages were NOT delivered to my home. They were dropped off at a local paquetería I wouldn’t even have known they were there, except the guy working there notified me. Why am I paying for home delivery when I’m not getting it? I should have a refund any you should make sure the service you use does their job.

The first time I used this company, the package I had sent to Mexico arrived fast, no problems. The second time, the package arrived on time but the items were damaged inside (could have been done by customs officials). This week, the third time Ive used them, they delivered the wrong package - a box of balloons - instead of my very expensive package with art supplies, a cellphone, and clothing. I had this happen to me 3 times with the last company I used to ship things from the US to Mexico. Just infuriating.Update: They found my missing package in their warehouse 3 days after I notified them of the problem, and theyre going to ship it express to Mexico. But the person who received the wrong package must drop it off to the Estafeta office. A lot of footwork for him, and it cost alot to ship.

Delivered swiftly with care from US to Mexico. Many niche online stores have stopped international deliveries due to the pandemic (and understandably so). In such cases, America Ship fills in as a helpful intermediary. They take care of everything, including customs, so thats a big plus.My only complaint would be their website user experience. Its slow and non-intuitive. If they could improve on that, thatll be great.

I have had two shipments so far and they have arrived 4 days early which is good. It is very expensive, however. With the money I am spending it probably should be hand delivered with a beautiful bow. Shipment pricing is almost half of what you are shipping.

At first they were really good and reliable but now they are horrible with the worst customer service. They have lost or stolen items from me and currently have been holding over 20 packages of mine without no update for 3 months after I have paid for delivery to the US. AVOID at all costs.

Having had massive difficulties shipping to Mexico from the States, I researched America Ship online and gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. My package arrived to them on Monday. They processed it the same day and it was picked up on Tuesday. It arrived at my destination in Mexico (a long distance from the border) on Thursday. I was blown away by the ease of the process with America Ship and how fast the shipment made it to the destination!

Absolutely no response for more than 2 months from email, phone calls, and their own system’s help ticket for my 100 items they have possession of. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I was so pleased to see that my first shipment with America Ship arrived so quickly to my client in Mexico! The Estafeta tracking page had mentioned it would take 3-6+ business days, but it really took only 1 day once the package cleared customs! Worst customer service! No one helps you, my package got send to the wrong address and “Jet” said“I saw you had several tickets, but all answered and closed. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about the package sent to the old address. “No one really try to help me recover my package back!! I lost money and time for my business. I have used a few different ways to ship between the US and Mexico. America Ship has far and above out classed the others. My shipment was processed in the middle of the Christmas and New Year holiday but America Ship handled my packages and kept the packages on their way even though there were holidays. America Ship received 3 packages and consolidated the packages to reduce cost and environmental costs too. America Ship handled the customs process with expertise and visibility. I knew when the package was in customs and I knew when it was out and on its way again. They use Estafeta in Mexico and I have to say that Estafeta performed well too as America Ship assured me they would. My thanks to Jenni with America Ship. I am sure she has others supporting and so my thanks to them too.

Had a slight problem where the payment didnt show up on their page, even tho PayPal did mark it as done, but then it got solved and I got my package. Was my first time using a service like this to get something shipped to Mexico. Was an alright experience and I got my package in the end.But yeah, the customer service could use some work. Had to send 4 mails before I got my problem solved.

Everything arrived safely and on time. For a first-time user, the website is hard to navigate but the information is complete and the telephone customer service is very good. I would recommend America Ship but be aware that their Platinum membership does not really give you a discount but a credit to be used on a future shipment.

Timely shipping and good consolidation of the 8 or 9 different shipments I had sent to the warehouse. One of the tar shampoos came open in transit, and gooped up part of a box of business cards. My major issue is with Estafeta here in Mexico - they refused to deliver to my home and made me drive over to their office to pick up my 2 boxes. At first they claimed that the address was wrong on the label, then they said that the label specified that the boxes had to be picked up at their office - both of these are untrue, I had a package with the exact same label delivered to me, at my home, last month. Ive emailed America-Ships customer service and asked them to make a complaint to Estafeta. I paid $160.89 USD for this delivery, not sure i would do it again.

Since I have family living across the border in Mexico, I frequently ship things to them for their birthdays and etc. With other shipping carriers, prices are higher than compared to this company. Overall a very satisfactory and cost effective solution to shipping items from the US to Mexico. The website and emails are somewhat minimalist, but the various charges and fees are more than fair, and are clearly presented.I have only used their standard shipping service from the US to Mexico - AmericaShip also has a service from shipping back from Mexico to the US and some other delivery options (using Fedex I believe), none of which I’ve used.

Easy transaction, reasonable prices. I have used America Ship to send packages to my family in Mexico. Their website is easy to use, all the information is uploaded to their system and easy to track. You also receive emails when it is ready to move on to the following step, such as payments. The packages have arrived with no problems and we have been very happy using this service.

Excellent service with clear instructions on how to complete forms, and follow tracking of package. Package arrived one day earlier than I expected but fortunately I was home to receive it.

I have to drop from 5 stars to 4 this time. An AS error prevented me from accessing the Estafeta tracking, so I had no clue where the package was until it showed up on my doorstep. First time in a long time Ive had any issues, and will certainly use AS again.

This is an excellent service that I used shipping from USA to Mexico. The total time of ordering my products through the Global Shipping centre took only ONE WEEK, which is the fastest service Ive every received when waiting on products from the USA. Usually it can take up to 8 weeks with normal shipping through the Mexican Postal Service. Very happy that I set up my account with Global Shipping and from now on they will be the only company that I use.

Ive used the service multiple times over the last few months. All previous shipments were great until the last one. I paid for the delivery of two todller sippy cups and 6 rolls of foam insultation. i received the cups but the rolls never arrived. I called customer service and spoke to someone, I was told they would check the warehouse for my missing items and then follow up with an email about the status. That was last week, I still have never received any status update. Then today I got an email saying my package has been delivered. Yet, it has not been delivered. So i guess i have to write this up as lost package and lost money. Not satisfied with the service here…..

I have shipped twice now to Mexico (2 different locations) using America Ship and received both deliveries safely. The America Ship team handled the packages as promised by getting them through customs easily and delivered to Estefeta (Mexican Courier) who completes the delivery to me in Mexico. With this last delivery the America Ship people monitored the tracking and notified me right away when Estefeta posted an alert that they were having difficulty finding my address. I was able to provide more detailed instructions on my location and the package arrived within the next couple of days. Packages will not arrive as fast as in the US because of passing through customs so always calculate plenty of time to receive your packages if you need it by any certain date.

Ive used America-Ship now several times to bring packages to Mexico and every shipment has worked perfectly. The costs are more reasonable than paying vendors for international shipping via the usual courier services, and travel times are FAR more rapid than anything that comes via the postal service. They were very helpful and considerate when I arrived to pick-up all of my mail that I hadnt had shipped to in Mexico. They even discounted the price. The attendant offered to stay late while I went to the USPS office nearby to take care of an issue.

We ship frequently to Mexico. America Ship is the most reliable carrier. I used to use MyUS, but it has issues with custom clearance once a while. With America Ship, I dont have this issue. Custom clearance is just easy and I dont need to worry about it. Most likely it is because it is on the border with Mexico.

My shipment was sent very late, many mistakes were done. My requests in notes was overcome and prep service was not fulfilled timely. However, my shipment was received finally and hopefully.

Ive used them several times last year, will again this year.From shopping at Chewy for my dog or Re-Stitch for unique clothes,, Ive been pleased with their service, however sometimes it takes a week to process a shipment or get a response. Hence the 4/5.

Thus far Ive received 41 shipments through America-Ship & Estafeta. They were able to ship some heavy & awkward items, mostly tools for wood & metal fabrication & have them delivered to my door in Mexico without any damage. The cost of shipping averages out to be about $75 US dollars per shipment which, in my opinion is good. The 41 shipment, one item, a battery powered drill/driver was missing, a $30 US dollar item. Perhaps this is destined to happen with open inspections by Aduana at the border, but I regress. I informed America-Ship immediately by email about the shortage & was informed all item were shipped. After about six email inquiries with no replies, I informed them to close my account. America-Ship will perform their job & photo both the contents & lable of your recieved package & their repackaging is very good, but warehouse storage & handling to the truck will take its toll. Im sad we had to part ways, but thats life.

All worked as was described on their web-site. All my questions along the process were answered by email. Shipment to FBA warehouse was very fast.

Terrible company, do not trust them! Pure bait and switch. Very unprofessional. The operate on a google phone and do not answer half of the time! Oscar is never clear about what is going on! They look like this big company but they are not! The start off by giving me a quote for $200 so I had my belongings transferred to their Reynosa office, once it got to office it took an entire week to get to Brownsville TX. Once it got to Texas I spoke to the owner Jet Lee and he admit to the screw up but said that I have to pay for it and not him, the price jumped up by $800. After going back and fourth a few times Jet Lee hing up the phone on me! This company is terrible, I do not recommend this company and I will do everything in my powers to let this be known

Better than the alternatives I know (Redpost, Estafetamembers, Shipito, etc.), a little slow in my first use since things didnt went automatically as expected, I had to open a ticket, but no delay with 2nd and 3rd use, and expected delay on holiday season (now).Overall experience is that they do a good job, sensible price which is lower to the alternatives that use FedEx/UPS/DHL/USPS. Of course this means you have to put up with Estafeta, a you get what you pay for situation, no other (better) options at the moment.Very competitive pricing, usually below the competition, and no limits (weight, value; just practical limits: prohibited items).Their web interface... currently bad, needs to be updated better, currently it takes very long on updates (weeks sometimes), support is slow also, except if you open a ticket on a package. Overall: better than nothing, needs improving.Update: After years of using this service I can add that they have improved, its faster now, very reliable all this time, and problem free.

This shipment missed me as I was traveling. I asked Estafeta to hold it, an put a call into America ship to see if they could intervene. Sadly Estafeta refused to hold it and as far as I can tell it is now held up in Veracruz awaiting shipment back to Matamoros, where it can be reshipped to me.
