If you have high standards then Barber Kings is the place to go.The shop is extremely clean and Orlando is incredibly skilled. I needed a bald fade and beard trim. Neither one is easy to do correctly so Im very cautious about who I let near my hair. Orlando promised the best and he absolutely delivered. He was precise and took his time making sure everything was just how I wanted it.The real test of a haircut is how it grows back. Its now a week later and the cut still looks amazing. Dont waste your time with another shop.. Barber Kings is the best of the best.

I was visiting Brownsville as I’m from out of town and received by far the best and most exclusive experience I’ve ever had at a barber shop. When I got there, I met Orlando, was greeted professionally and the service was excellent. He really cares about the quality of service and cares about his clients. I stumbled across this barber shop by chance and came in for a little info. The owner was very kind, enthusiastic and very welcoming. He gave me his card and all the info I needed and asked me to return and give them a try when I needed a cut. Based on the staff’s friendliness and demeanor I made it a point to give them a shot. Returning for a cut and a shave for my son and I was the best decision I could have made! We both came away feeling great, clean and well taken care of. Just be ready to wait a while for your turn In the chair though. If you have the time to wait for them, they will spend a lot of time on you. They treat their jobs like artists, and they desire to make you look and feel your best as you walk out the door. I have come back twice since my initial visit, and each time the service and experience was top notch! There is no doubt in my mind that these guys are the best barbers in Brownsville. Coming back to Brownsville after many years I didnt think Id find a barber that knew how to give a proper fade, apply a razor and treat me like Ive been a long time client even though it was my first time. Orlando was super entertaining and made the entire experience of being there fun. The haircut surpassed my expectations and for a great price.Something that was awesome was that an older lady selling baked goods walked in and Orlando was very welcoming to her, bought a few things from her and welcomed her back to sell her baked goods anytime she wanted. I think that was a genuine sign of him being a good person.There are probably other good barbershops in the area, but I dont need to look any further. Barber Kings is my new barbershop. If youre tired of having to fix your haircut when you get home because your barber didnt do it right, I recommend giving Barber Kings a try. If you can, I would go mid day during the week. On the weekends youll have to enjoy the free WiFi while you wait.

One of the best places to get a hair cut and beard trim in Brownsville TX! All of the barbers there a great, however I personally prefer Joanna aka “la commander”! She takes her time in cutting your hair until you’re completely satisfied! Keep in mind to go there early otherwise be prepared to wait, because the perfect hair cut takes time!

The haircut I asked for was not produced. I wanted a skin fade MID fade. And I got a HIGH fade. I told them to even out my top and to not be too short. The man did the total opposite. He cut more than I wanted after I told him to not cut anymore. He then proceeded to cut my eyebrows which was never discussed!! And the worst part was that he sprayed color on my hair without asking leaving me with an ugly look! If I could give them a zero stars I would. Never coming back!

He cut one of my boys hair, exceptional job and my son was super pleased. Nick cut my youngest son hair and the same, great cut and attention to details. I was serviced by Joanna, man what a detailed work. She cut my hair like no one has done it in at least 10 years. I will definitely come back and have any of these three fine artist cut our hair with my eyes closed.

Definitely excellent customer service welcoming friendly funny. He did undercuts for my two sons. I gave 4 bc price. He told he one price on the phone and another when i came in. It wasnt worth the cut bc he didnt cut the top. But he did get my boys to sit in the chair which always a challenge for me. He softened them up gave then encouraging words for life so for that i was willing to pay and tip. Over all boys where pleased with there cuts.

Orlando and his team of barbers take extreme pride in every cut they give, because for them its more of art, not a job.
