Last time I checked, I could tune-in no more than three blocks away from this station/transmitter. I think my garage door opener has more range than this broadcast station! Its AM so you get NO fidelity, lots of hiss and pop, and overall bad signal-to-noise ratio. Programming leaves a bit to be desired, too.

WYRZ is the best station I have ever heard. Superb quality of music and extremely diverse collection. Their FM transmitter isnt strong but they can be listened to anywhere via streaming. Their DJs are upbeat and entertaining and very knowledgeable about music and community events. We LOVE WYRZ! 🎸😎🎹🔊

As a former advertiser I was really disappointed in the results - after paying for 8 months of broadcasting with radio spots everyday - I can honestly say only 1 person ever mentioned that they heard the ad spot on the radio and he was encouraged by his friend the owner of the radio station to mention it when he came in to purchase something. That was in the first month. I experimented allowing one add to run for 2 months promoting a special that I did not mention anywhere else or offer for anyone other that the listeners of this station. ZERO results. I had 4 more months in the contract and I asked to cancel because that was agreed when signing - if I wasnt happy I could cancel - I gave it 8 months, spent extra to sponsor local basketball games, and was roped in to a neighbors desperate radio promo that cost and additional $100.00 for a live spot that did nothing. Im a busy person and I failed to mail the last payment promptly so instead of picking up the phone (so easy to make a sale but not so easy to just communicate anything else) they filed suit in small claims. I called to settle because I knew it was mybad - they did get the check but it was late and didnt have the late fees (which I would have paid because I knew it was mybad) the bill nearly doubled - okay fine - again it was mybad - Ill pay the extra but when I asked the wife of the owner to please email me the new amount since I was driving and couldnt write it down - she refused saying theyd done enough - really? You suckered me into advertising with your lame radio station for 8 months - couldnt pick up the phone to ask about payment - instead file a small claims suit - complaining about how they had to go through all the trouble of paying the court fees, and taking the time to file with the court, blah, blah, blah - to which I replied that they didnt HAVE to they CHOSE to do all of that instead of calling or stopping by my business - Boo on you XRB! So this is my truthful account of this #XRBRADIO station. They cannot deliver what they say - if you advertise with them you most likely are just supporting a fantasy of someone wanting to hear their own voice on the radio with an audience of a few family members and a few friends. By the way, they couldnt take the time to call me but they had no problems sending me solicitations to make a donation to their new 501c non profit endeavor to expand their reach.. boo on you XRB Radio Brownsburg, Boo on you!
